AI generated art and shit should not be legal. It steals art online from media without consent and messes with it to ‘create something new’. It’s a slap in the face to all artists out there who put time and work into their pieces just for it to be stolen and sold without their knowledge. Also, anyone could run someone’s writing through a AI to ‘check if it was actually written by a person and not plagiarized’ and almost 100% of the time it’ll detect the writing as computer generated which in the future, if used in school, will absolutely destroy student’s work. Unless your writing is 1st grader level computers will think it’s AI.

i feel that access to generative AI shoulf be kept away from the public for good, but then again how would they do that? even if for example they banned dalle 2 for image generation there are countless people who have stable diffusion on their PCs. i guess the only way to stop it is by illegalizing it but with how realistic sora looks i think it would be very difficult for authorities to spot there will be a lot of false positives kinda like college students getting their essays detected as AI even though they've written it themselves. it really seems like there isn't a solution
Ive noticed there's alot more giant companies buying first page sponsered posts than there used to be. Like because the Internet got more popular,its harder for smaller companies to exist due to drop shipping and companies buying up ad space on social media.
