It really is, she's so forgettable honestly, I like to think they knew. She's fun but even with 4 being my first in the series she's pretty barebones. Fun theme though! Always got a darkstalkers/ vampire vibe from it.

Bael/Dagon(the lame generic frost frog), the Savior and Sanctus are worse fights and i personally never found Agnus fun to fight, he's not bad though. Berial is cooler but less fun to fight. She's just behind Credo and arguably Dante really. That frog specifically comes to mind as a nothing boss, no redeemable qualities whatsoever and extremely forgettable.

Unlike most everyone else, you can't always be up in her face, comboing and parrying and dodging. You spend like, 50% of the fight shooting her while she flies around. Berial looks cool and seemed to be a cool character, but he is a static boss with a bullshit AoE attack that takes out a chunk of your health for no reason. hands down echidna is my fave boss, when i play as dante, all it takes is a mastered trickster style, ebony, ivory, and a shitload of taunts every time she pauses to find dante, undamaged, and taunting. Dante, because real men use the taunt function.

You'd be surprised at how hardcore some older myths can be. For example Cherubim originally had four faces (man, lion, ox and eagle), were covered in eyes, and had calves feet (Ezekiel 1 : 5-12 and 10: 1-22).

also when credo was stabbed and was falling from the saviour, sanctus also happened to say, "all that is needed, is absolute power" kinda reminded me of vergil =P
