When you ship to Hawaii with less than priority the packages sit at the dock in CA until they get a full ship which can be weeks before it leaves for the island. I was told this by a customer in Hawaii after I did not send priority and it took a few weeks.
Idk, maybe those mint tins are perfect for weddings. When my cousin got married every setting at the reception had a little gift of candy.
they also make awesome on-the-go kits, we have a few of them in our cars with emergency meds and such..
About the three box storage unit , the person bidding against you knows what is in those boxes. Only reason that makes sense.

I hate people who leave a “reject pile” behind.
I’ve gotten to know the employees at my local thrift stores and they know I’m a reseller and they know that if I grab something and change my mind I will put it back where it belongs so they look out for good items to tell me about when I stop in

It is funny that someone who owns an auction company can get caught up in whole “ I gotta have it” game. I too love auctions though.
Rabbit, anything going to Hawaii or Alaska Ground advantage goes by boat, that’s why the week. Some stuff less than a lbs will be used to fill priority air freight containers. Greater than 1lbs takes time.
My Alaska customers seem to get it and not an issue, the Hawaii customers don’t.
I refer to those foam craft beads as Satan's snowballs 😂 I spilled a bag of green ones 2 years ago still finding them

I mentioned it before but I had a package going from Pennsylvania to New York, it ping-ponged between two sorting facilities for 12 days before the buyer messaged me on a Saturday night. So I did get in contact with USPS Monday first thing and delivered Monday night. Got positive feedback for that even though USPS took forever and a day playing catch with each other.
Love the set-up! Do you ever spill out into the parking lot? Do some "Tent Sales" like some of the Big Box Stores used to do back-in-the-day?
@Resale Rabbit I use the same auction site. I saw a few boxes in a unit here in Delaware go for over a grand. People have said storage facilities use bid snipers to drive up prices on normally junk units. Cause I've seen absolute garbage units go up to $3k. You can honestly see there is zero value in the locker.

have you thought about putting airtags in pallets to mark them for ebay/$10 day/seasonal stuff? That should help you "remember" what you have.
Re the radiant space heaters, I'd consider reaching out by a fb post and telling them there was a mistake and that you want to give them it back.
those mint tins that did really well, I would sell them again at your christmas warehouse sale - great stocking stuffers!

Looked like kitchen stuff to me. But if the box says something generic like that. I bid low because they didn't care that much about it

About your radio clips breaking. You could have new and improved clips 3d printed and epoxy them on. Great info and informative videos.

great video.. for your radios, have you thought about looking into radio cases? many of them come with belt clips....to help with the open item problem with the "SCUM of the EARTH" can you possibly put up notices around the floor & as you enter, that say, you are under video surveillance, if you are caught opening packages, you will be charged to repackage, or required to purchase the product? ....keep up the great work!!r
Correct-he needs a separate carrier for the radios. Sometimes they are called 'prep holders'. They come in leather and nylon.

I wonder if the other bidder was the original owner and just wanted their stuff back? I've done the same thing before and really regretted the amount I paid. Haha! But, I've only bid on Ebay... same feeling, though!
Great sale. But with these ebay updates, I think ebay may outdo your warehouse sales this year.

@@ResaleRabbit awe... that's unfortunate. Ebay is a lot better than dealing with the general public doing warehouse sales. But I suppose is slightly more work given you have to ship.

I wonder if that unit was being bid up by someone who is a friend of who owned that unit and they’re trying to get their stuff back for a lower price than the backed up payments.
Amazon did the same thing to me, I called and they fixed it
If you keep up your eBay sales, they're going to rival the revenue from the 4 or 5 warehouse sales. If you can average $750 a day on eBay, that's more than $250K a year.
I think his strategy is "all of the above" right now.
eBay sales have been down until recently. -In fact Rabbit has been buying out eBay sellers.

That is not allowed by the facilities. They sometimes do try to use straw buyers, but if they catch them they cancel the sales.

I think the belt clips are replaceable, a cheaper alternative to buying new radios.
I think he meant that its not the clips that are breaking, but the piece on the radio itself that the clip connects to. So without repairing the actual radio body, you can't replace the clip on it.
So, I buy my resell stuff from a huge liquidation company near me, and everything is sold on an online auction. Stuff often goes for stupid prices. I like to run people up and let them have it. If they really annoy me, I'll look up everything they are bidding on by their bidder number and will run everything up. I have literally ran buyers up $800+ on their items. If they are going to get it, they aren't going to get it cheap. I know it a-hole of me, but I'm in it to make money, and there are over 700,000 more bidders than when I started. So anyone I can discourage from bidding anymore is great.
Just request to remove the feedback. Say it was sent within the handling time, and shipping time by the post office was out of your control. Should be removed.
