Good morning! This almost feels like a silly question. Once I have the meta-pixel on my website and funnel pages, does it track ads for both IG and FB? I don't have to install anything on IG directly? I do have events set up on my site as well.
I have to say you are one of the easiest people to understand as I see you know your work well, I've been looking all over for an answer to a question which I believe you can help. It'a about FB and IG adds and if I need to use a meta pixel or not. I'm not a newbie but just want to make sure my adds which are mostly to follow me. Is there a private contact for you as I do not want people to know my business. Thanks so much hope I hear back from you soon.
Love your videos! I am a new luxury womenswear brand and because of your videos, I started running Insta ads through the meta platform. I have noticed that both of my ads are doing well in terms of reach & views, however, since I am a womenswear brand I want to reach only women, however my ads are being shown to men too who are engaging which in turn is leading to more money spent on men. I specified my gender audience as women but it is still showing to men. What do I do?
Thanks for the kind words! When you ran the ad, was it with the Advantage Plus audience? They are suggestions that you give to Meta, but a hard constraint will need to use Original Audience settings. Just a thought, let us know! - C
Hey, Thank you for sharing this video. It is easily understandable, but I am having trouble being able to register the website where it is supposed to be. How can I solve this? Thank you.
Thanks for the video: For example, if my website has 4 different languages and I want the landing page for my ad to be in a different language each time, do I have to change my Pixel, or just the URL I put in the ad section?
These tutorials are excllent. Thank you. I have a quick question if you have a sec to answer, I'd be grateful. I have a short term rental that I'm just starting to run ads for. I currently have a linktree in my profile that connects to the rental website (squarespace) and then AirBNB, Vacasa and VRBO. I'm beginning to realize that perhaps I should have just one link as opposed to multiple options. I was thinking I would just add the AirBNB link but obviously I wouldn't be able to add a Meta Pixel to their site. In terms of removing barriers to conversion would you suggest forgetting about the Meta Pixel and just send folks straight to the AirBNB link or would it be worth building that warm/lookalike audience via the rental website's home or booking link page? Thanks again!
So happy you found the tutorial helpful, and thank for your patience with this response! To confirm this is one rental with subsequent links to the booking platforms? In the perfect world, all traffic goes through a page you own first (for example, your own website/landing page that links off to each booking platform). That way you have full access to the data and can retarget your audience with other relevant ads. With that in mind, I’d consider skipping the linktr.ee and have your website be the only intermediary (also involves less friction which is most ideal). I would also consider checking out our videos on Manychat, because I can definitely see you setting up an automatic system where you can also get people to comment/DM a keyword that automatically sends them the link. Hope that’s helpful! - T
This is great thank you. My only question is how to Remarket using the pixel? I put a first ad with the pixel and it grabbed the info of the target audience. How do I remarket to that audience?
You're welcome - happy you found it helpful! To retarget the audience you'll first need to create a custom audience from the pixel, linking the instructions here: facebook.com/business/help/1474662202748341?id=2469097953376494 and then when you create an ad you can target that custom audience in the ad set (as opposed to using interests). Let me know if you have any other questions! - T
Loving this tutorial... I don't seem to have any option after clicking 'connect data' then 'web' and then 'connect' It just takes me back to 'Welcome to Events Manager' I've tried everything :( Any help would be amazing!
Random question but im so new to all of this. When i go to paste my website, what is that? Is that just the URL from my facebook business page? I havent run ads before but want to start runnning instagram ads. Would love any help
Hi! You need to paste the pixel in the back end of your website, so you'd want to log into your web host (Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress etc) and go to the relevant section to paste the pixel. There are specific Help articles for each host. Do you have a website? It's not the URL from your FB Business Page, it'd be the pixel code into the back end of your website - C
Correct, you'd need to have a domain name and independent website running to use the pixel, as it "follows" people from your website to Facebook/Instagram. So welcome! - C@@FFBwithblessingjohn
Perfect tutorial, Thank you. Is it possible to run conversion ads on Facebook without a website, using a landing page instead? I want to use a landing page built as a replacement for a website, and then use the landing page link for the Facebook pixel to track the results of the conversion ad. I'm aiming to ensure that the conversion ads lead to sales, even without having a website, by utilizing a landing page for tracking purposes with the Facebook pixel.
Hey - you're so welcome! Glad the tutorial was helpful. Great question, you definitely can install a pixel on a landing page site, as long as the hosting platform allows it. We used leadpages.com in the past for this, and I'm sure other similar platforms would allow that too. - T

Hi, you'd need access to your client's FB pages to acquire the Pixel, or they can get it to you, and then you'd need access to the client's website so add it to the back end. How to do that would all depend on which host they use. - C
