I was unable to track my 11 Purchases after setting up my pixel with this method
I have pixel setup domain verified web configurations done ... but in ad set level after choosing pixel and event it says error.. set up conversions.... shall I wait for 72 hours after web event configurations
What are your thoughts on Conversion API? It seems like everyone is pushing for that now, however it's also the most intricate way to setup conversion events and has more margin for error IMO. The method you showed (events from the pixel) and custom conversions are more simple to set up, but I'm wondering if these methods are outdated?

Hi, I have a problem with the pixel, when I use my browser it is working but if I use another browser or phone, it is not sending data. Does anyone know how to fix it ? And Also my dataset and pixel ID is not matching. Should be they same ?

FACEBOOK EVENT SETUP ERROR: Adding a pixel event to a website with the event setup tool. The entered website URL opens the page. The FB Setup tool briefly appears in the upper left corner of the browser then an error message pops up: "FACEBOOK EVENT SETUP - UNABLE TO COMPLETE REQUEST. PLEASE TRY AGAIN." The domain is verified and added to the allowed list. FB support is not responsive.

Hello Ben! It seems we cannot ADD EVENT on facebook pixel the last 3 days. It seems that the interface changed also in the screens you recomment and the buttons do not work (at the moment). For example, I cannot go to see DATA SOURCES anymore or ADD another event in my list... The button exists, but do nothing. DO you have any idea what is it about? Thank you in advance!
How do I set-up a second Pixel? I have two very different websites for two different businesses under my Ads Manager account... And can I only have 5 businesses under me? What if I'm managing for multiple businesses?

Last year I have watched FB pixel tutorial and they says we have to add Fb pixel base code on all pages of our website through header coding. I didn't have any practical knowledge yet, But now i designed a WordPress website for my customer and i want to install Fb pixel for them. Also i would like to ask you ,my customer has added me as their FB Admin and i will be working from my FB account. The person that viewed, added to cart, purchased will be shown +1 conversion. but WON"T be shown as +1 add to cart
If the same person viewed, added to cart but didn't purchase, in the stats it will show +1 add to cart, right?

hi Ben. I have my FB pixel setup ( I think ) on my website. However my ad is telling me I dont have a meta pixel setup. May i ask you what's the difference ?....also I find that when I click on events manager it says 'redirecting ' but doesn't connect . Is that a browser issue do you think ?

Hi Ben, I came over to this toturial while I was watching your set up Facebook ads video. Ive never created a fb pixel, however while following this video Facebook is telling me the event manager isnt available. Did something change?
When I go to connected through the word plugin I'm directed to select a "Page." As well as business Manager, Pixel, Add Account. My Page is greyed out however, and won't allow me to select it.
My new Facebook Ad had a link to direct readers to a book publisher web page that showed my book for sale. When I tried to start the Ad, Facebook refused it because I didn't add a pixel. I don't have a website. I obviously can't add a pixel to a book publisher website. Where did I go wrong?

If the activity isn't showing as working, turn off your ad blocker if you have one... this was my issue!
Hi, I'm having trouble with my pixel I set up the pixel via shopify it's added a dataset? so under "pixel" on business setting I have nothing but on "Events Datasets" I have the pixel, I can see on Events Manager I am picking up data but when I create a custom audience from this Pixel/Dataset it's not putting the data in and my ads are not getting an impression? Do I need to set up a pixel then link it to Shopify, I've been picking up data for months with what I've already set up so don't want to start again.

hmmm. if you only have one conversion event per person because of IOS14, then would you see for example, just the add to cart if they add to cart but don't make a purchase? That's fine. You can have two columns in the ad manager, one for add to cart, and one for purchase, and you can then see whether the add to carts are converting into purchases or not. Right?

I have a question about setting up Facebook aggregated event measurement for a domain I verified a little over 24 hours ago. It shows verified in metasuite, but it won't allow me to set up aggregated events. I spoke with a Facebook support rep and he said I just need to wait longer but in the past I've been able to do so almost immediately
This has been the most frustrating thing I had to do the last three days. Fb Pixel is not very user friendly at all I Have watched your video over and over again. I'm still prompted to do the same thing over and over over and over again. In many many many different directions. This should be a very straight forward process if one is being forced to add this extension.
Stuck on the aggregated event. HELP! Once i hit configure web events its redirecting me to create a business manager. Don't i already have one or is ad manager and business manager different account types? I did try to make one and it wont let me use my name.
What if when you add assets and you have classic pages as well. Do you just click page or website as you demonstrate or do you do classic pages as well?

👋 thanks for the video…I had a quick question about management of pixels…say I have a bakery and I want to put content out for it and advertise it and at the same time, in a totally different niche, I want to have a sticker business and than sell another product in the women niche…my question is for all these three different businesses that has three different websites, do I need a separate ad account or since I own the businesses and the associated Facebook pages, I can do it under the same ad account?

Ben, that plugin is a security risk. Go read the reviews and you'll see that using it is a disaster waiting to happen

Yes that feature has been retired and is no longer necessary. Meta does that for you automatically now.

since it's not possible to trigger "initiate checkout" event without triggering "add to cart" beforehand why "initiate checkout" should be proritized?
Because you would rather people go on to take that action. You want to prioritize the most valuable actions. Not everyone that adds to cart will initiate checkout
I think the plugin is no longer a thing after you can't let people deactivate the cookie it sets. :S

What if you're not using a website? and only running ads of your FB page & IG to generate leads? I don't have my own website but work for a real estate agency. Will this automatically record everyone that looks at my ads?
In that case you don't need to install the Facebook Pixel :)
