Hi there, I love your content and I certainly need some help with my failing ads. I noticed your landing page for your course shows the price in UK pounds, (£97/Month). I'm in the States, is it possible to take your course and will it work for me in the US?
@@BenHeath what if im runnig ads for services that are held in a highschool, how would i set up the ad? Will this be the callout method? we also have a pretty large email list? sorry " Newbie " here, with my first client. Any feedback would be awesome. thanks in advance.
Hi Ben the information you provide on FB advertising and marketing in general is without doubt the best I have seen on the internet. So many other marketers make it over complicated and shrouded in mystery. Love your simple straight forward no BS approach. Thank you.
Ive watched a few different videos from other people now and I must say the way you explain things is amazing! You make it so engaging and as easy to follow as possible. Thank you :)
Ben fantastic video, very informative. Have just started at the age of 68 social media marketing yours are by the clearest explanation of Facebook I have found, I have also watched your video on setting up Facebook and learned loads from that.
Thank you so much Ben!! This was so helpful. I love all your videos and I am really glad you mentioned the services like dog walking as I am in the dog industry (training, walking, sitting) and have been struggling with ad creation it seems that all the creative smarts elude me in my own business. I can’t wait for your next video and hopefully one day get to the point I can just hire a company like yours!
Ben, thank you for putting this video together. It was great to understand how you go about your ad creation process. It would have been helpful if you included an example of a product or service related to health, diet, dating, or finance. Due to some of Meta's advertising policies, i.e., personal attributes, personal health, I find that it can be a challenge to write a captivating headline and primary text for these types of services and products. Of course, Meta advises to "sell the product, not the person" in those cases, but it would be helpful to see an example from you. Thanks again.
I have to politely disagree with the headline advice, we find that our ads perform dramatically better when we use quirky or unusual headlines. Having said that, we sell hand puppets - so it's probably a big part of it.
Thing is business and ads are all about strategies what might work for A won't work for B,so I agree with both Ben and pubbets we can try both strategy and see the one that works out best
Our business is more niche as well so I find that some of the tips businesses like ours just need to ignore, and continue to develop what works for our audiences
Question I have: I always use dynamic ads and upload 3/4 images, 3/4 descriptions and titels. And I just let that run, because I will not know what images works best, so I let Meta do the work. Is that something you advice or just 1 image and 1 description and not use dynamic ads?@@BenHeath
Learning how to use ads for my new landscaping business. I'm not super creative with words, so any help would be much appreciated. This video was great! 🎉 Thank you!
Thanks so much for this video Ben! This was very helpful for a beginner like me who's just starting out in learning Facebook ads. The examples you used for benefits were very helpful as well. I had a question - would I need to fill out the 'description' for each ad as well? Or is the headline and primary text enough? Thanks!
Happy to help :) The description is very much optional. You can add it in if you want to and it might help a tiny bit. But usually makes very little difference.

loving your videos! In one of them you talked about connecting boosted ads to your ad center. Can you tell me which video this was in? I am having trouble finding it. Thanks.
Really amazing information! Incredibly valuable! Every question that popped into my head you answered just seconds after! How do you do that? LOL. I thought my vacation linen rental business FB posts were appealing but never gained any traction. Now I see so many things I need to improve! I just don't see how to include a website link for folks to click on for ecommerce businesses. Maybe that will become obvious once I get going. Thank you!
Great stuff Ben. Quick Q - I always hear you talking about analysing and making decisions re: cost per result. But if you have products with a wide variety of prices, is it not much better to set conversions to maximise the conversion value and then just use the ROAS to make decisions??
Your content is absolutely terrific. I would love to have insights about how to do with products like, movie streaming (on Amazon prime or Tubi...etc) Thanks a lot anyway. :)
Thanks a lot :) I would be led by performance on that. If your ads are doing well then you can give them more time. If they are not, I would look to introduce new ads earlier for testing.
The frequency of changing Facebook ad content varies, but it's recommended to refresh periodically to avoid ad fatigue and maintain audience engagement. This can be done every few weeks or months, based on performance metrics and campaign objectives.
Thanks, Ben. I love the idea of using templates. Unfortunately, I've yet to find one that works for me. We create online escape games that are spooky. So gaming templates don't work, and many spooky ones are too corny.
Super valuable content, thank you very much Ben! I have 2 question and would be very happy about an answer. 1. I use the campaign structure you recommend in your last video. How should I do, if I have several different winner creatives for one product and want to scale them all to broad. Do you put them all in the same winner dct or do you scale all of them in their own separate adset? If I make everyone in one dct, Facebook will only spend money into one creative and the others spend almost nothing. 2. Do you use a separate campaign for each product then? Thank you so much in advance and greetings from Germany.
This is a long shot in the dark but I run an etsy store that I use to help children and families in need during Christmas. These are indigenous children and families on the apache indian reservation. My hottest selling item is christmas wrapping paper and I'm curious if you have any videos explaining good ad creatives for etsy products or anything that may help me. I'm currently running facebook ads but I feel like I'm missing out on alot. I really appreciate everything you do I've been watching for years. And even though I've done my research it can still be tricky to understand.
@KimWilson-lr8rn what's ur point his first video was 2021 its 2023 almost 2024 so I stand by my comment I've been watching for "years" I don't much care if he has 1 follower or 100k he's still knowledgeable and I can still shoot a shot in the dark. I've been reaching out to people all over fiverr and Facebook looking for help because no ones really done videos for etsy products using Facebook ads and if they do its not really as helpful as these videos are.
How did you decide what copy to put into the InVideo template? I was having a hard time connecting the dots on that... you were so clear in the section discussing Headline, Primary Text, etc. but I'm having a hard time determining what to say in visual ad itself. Just the benefits? Or do you use the one of the techniques you discussed in Primary Text here as well? Am I making sense? lol
Awesome video, thanks! I've been doing Meta ads for a year and it's still great to get more tips and tricks. A Question: Do you recommend adding special text to Instagram ads once your creative has loaded and all the creative text has been applied? One can do this below adding the creative images or videos and expanding the box that allows text or creative changes for Instagram. Basically, does Instagram do well with more content - like testimonials or hashtags? Thanks!
If I have an ad set that is converting well but I want to try new creative and copy, do I create new ads on the same ad set? Also if I do create new ads at the ad level do I duplicate the existing ads and then change the copy and creative? Or do I start again at the Ad Set Level?
If you want to setup ads that convert, do these 3 things first. >> Research Your Ideal customer to figure out 2-3 painful problems they are having and want solved. They must also be willing to pay to have that problem solved and able to pay the price you desire. >> Create an offer. Your offer should solve the most painful problem they have and the price of your offer must be less than the value they are getting. This will help you overcome resistance Can you be available for a quick chat??

I'm unable to run dynamic ads within my direct-to-message conversion campaign. Instead, I have 12 ad sets within a CBO. While some are performing well and others have been deactivated, I'm now considering testing new creatives. Should I incorporate these into my existing successful CBOs or initiate a new campaign specifically for the test creatives?

Hi Ben, great video! If I add different headlines (without it being a dynamic creative campaign) how do I see which headline performed best, please?
Don't go with Dynamic, Test headlines separately.
I love your videos but i have been told that you should try to make your ads to not fell like they are ads do you think thos templets are fine or what

Why don't I have the primary text option on Meta when running my ads. Also headline is max 25 characters.

I don't think it's a big issue if you leave it on, but I do agree that it's usually best to turn it off.
Say, for online shops that sell various items in the same category (e.g. car accessories) is it better to create ads for the individual single product or make the ad for the shop and showcase various products?
I'd recommend testing both :)

Im a bit skeptical on the headline part. Would it make sense to repeat the headline in the image?
@roddyrackz9434 Thank for the reply. I understand what you mean. If the image is the most important should (if it makes sense) one include a text in the image?

Love the videos. Any advice around my ads only reaching the elderly, but my targeted audience being 25-40 year olds?
Thanks :)
That's odd. Do you have any targeting expansion options selected?
Really great content Ben. Thanks for sharing! A quick question, if you are running ads to get leads for an online course and you have a free webinar/masterclass for people who opt in, would you put that offer in the headline? e.g. Free Masterclass. Or could this result in lots of people signing up who have no intention of buying? Is it better to have a headline such as 'Get Started Today' and include the free masterclass offer in the primary text somewhere?
Thanks and good question. You always want to sell the next step and the next step only. The the ad would be designed to get people to sign up the masterclass. The Masterclass then needs to convert after that.
