I had a lil question... for the "location" part of the ad. ....when I look at my insights page on where my followers are at in the world and if I wanted to put my attention on a certain location like say Vancouver, would I tap Van into that location space? Is this a good way to get some traction in the places that you wish to be seen more? and second question, in the ad set name, is it important to use key words? for example unique, handmade ... or am I going to deep here?!!! The problem I think with this audience and narrowing down is that not everybody updates their lives on social media....e.g I'm married with a child under two which is not on my social media page. So If someone is advertising children toys I won't see it. So how do you target those people who don't put their lives on social media?
Fair points. For targeting, you'd have to go broader and run with assumptions. For example, you'd have to assume a 38 year old woman in x regions with x interests would have a child. It's much less accurate, so you could always do one targeted ad and one broad ad to catch those who aren't updating their social as often. - C

A few things here. Do you have a Facebook Business page? And if so, is it attached to your Instagram account? Because you should be able to run ads with a Creator account if it is attached. - C

Glad you found it helpful! Our recommendation would be to lean towards new posts as they will already have some organic momentum to them based on relevancy, and are more likely to take your ad spend further. Also, if you ever notice that an organic post is doing well, that is the perfect post to target with engagement ads as it will already have a high ranking, and being that it's already being responded to well then you know something about the post really connected with the audience and can do even better with spend behind it. - T

You could add the CTA but it'll open via a browser which isn't a great experience. You can't choose exactly where your ads show up but you can use a block list to prevent them from showing up in certain places under Audience Network. - C

When i select my own targeted audience it doesn't allow me to click the final boost post button which sends the post to Instagram for approval. When I select automatic audience it allows me. Why is this?
Hi LD, it sounds like you're just doing a boost from in-feed? The best bet is to use Facebook Ads Manager, it's much more comprehensive and you won't have that issue. - C

i have a question. i cannot run an insta ad with one or more slides in the post. for eg if my post has more than one or more image it does not show in the facebook ads manager
You can run ads on carousel posts, just not with the engagement ad objective. Try Traffic, that should work. - C

Ads can certainly drive traffic to your website, but this specific video was focused on engagement as opposed to conversions. - C
@@Highseasonco True, I've tried it and it just delivered likes on the post and 0 zero website visits,, I'll try traffic and see because I'm trying all method even though i know i should do conversion ads lol
