The funniest thing in these videos is seeing sled racing going by with dogs pulling everything .. and then there's your dogs kicking back watching the show from their snowmobile powered carriage! Some dogs are born into luxury. Nice videos.

I think it's awesome how in the winter videos it's Eric being all like "Thor with an Axe" while Arielle stomps around adorably flattening snow and in the spring/summer videos Arielle is the total Gaea earth mother garden ninja while Eric mostly carries stuff and digs holes. Perfect couple! Especially when they are lovey dovey! ;-)

I have a tip for chopping big rounds. Go for the outside edges, 2 1/2- 3" from the live edge, and work your way around it. the round is weaker there, once that's been done the rest will be easy. give it a try. too much strength in the round to go straight for the middle. It's an old guy trick, 59 years old, nice double- bladed axe by the way. Great job once again!

Brilliant Video Thank you Ariel and Eric, that's so weird having flies in the cabin in the cold conditions, here in Victoria, Australia when winter comes no flies, Yay, I'm only happy in Winter.. As much as I adore the snow, I'm really looking forward to you installing that new fireplace, It looks like the brother of the one at your other cabin. OMG @18:34 Ariel with "bo" so Beautiful, Ariel you looked like an Angel in that light. I didn't want this video to end. Omg the ending that beautiful music it was like the little cabin was saying "please don't leave me" Kind thoughts and hug's too you both from Australia... 1) at the silicone penetration flashing under the flashing to the roof,
    3) at the top of the silicone / rubber boot, between the pipe and the boot,
    4) and then put some sealant over the rain deflector.

Just lots of peace and quite-hard to find that these days. You’re going to need something to clean the roof good before the adhesive on that gasket will stick, usually something solvent based. Also if your roof has some surface rust you’ll need to sand that down. I’m telling you all this because you only get one chance with those gaskets, if part of it sticks and part doesn’t there ain’t no going back.

Gorgeous scenery as usual. I can see why you guys make the significant effort to get out there

A trick I have used in northern Manitoba take your propane tank as you close up the cabin.Place cylinder in center of cabin.Give the handle about a 1/4 inch turn to open the flow.Shut the door and let the propane do its job.
Exterminators also sell a slow release Fly Bomb.
You should consider Bear Mats and shutters, basically Plywood with 50-75 spike pushed thru so they cannot stand on deck to rip the door or bust in thru windows.
Put a 2x4 at base of door,as Wolverines can open anything, don’t let them get a toehold on plywood edges.
I have been there and done this, just friendly advice.

Try some blue loctite on the hitch bolts, might prevent them loosening from to vibration and such

I know people have commented before about Arieal not carrying but i think since you actually have bear claw scratches on your cabin she might want to start once the bears wake up when you’re at the cabin. Got to protect your babies.

Bo was like, and this is where my human brings out metal things and makes noise and moves other pieces of metal, then pulls on stuff. Narrator to your repairs 😄 so cute. And Bandits like, ignore dad, play with me!
