Dear Sir Would you want to let Cadisen know that there's a QC issue on this model? The caseback has misspelled "crystal" as CRYTAL around the exhibition window.
Hahahaha!!! I have the blue dial Cadisen day date, and the dial says 5atm, but the caseback says 10atm! Lol 😂 I just don’t understand how Cadisen can do such a monumental screw up like that with the dial. The dial should also say 10atm. Magnification is horrible, just like any watch Cadisen makes with a cyclops, but I still kept it because the blue is stunning in the day date version, and I got a good discount from Amazon
Just got mine a couple of days ago. I bought it after watching this review (using your affiliate link, of course). I only paid 44€ for it in the end of summer sale, which is an absolute steal. I'm quite happy, although the watch isn't perfect. The good: I think they've updated this watch since you got it, because mine came with blue AR coating on the sapphire crystal, the "CRYTAL" has been corrected and the end links on my watch are a lot better than on yours. No gaps at all, they're quite a good fit to the case. There's also as good as no play in the butterfly clasp when the bracelet is closed. Like you, I'm also quite impressed with the comfort of the bracelet. Jubilee bracelets are my favorite, but more often than not, the bottom edges of the links are very rough, but Cadisen seems to have gotten them just right. And I love the dial, it really is beautiful. The not so good: the bracelet does feel a little cheap though, and there's a considerable gap between the end link and the first link, so it's very rattly. And the butterfly clasp hinges feel very delicate, I doubt that I'll be handing this watch down to my grandchildren. LOL The other two things that don't impress me much (but I knew about them before buying the watch thanks to your review): the crown which isn't screw-down. I'm not planning on swimming with this thing, but a screw-down crown just gives you a little more protection when you're washing your hands or getting caught in a downpour. And crap on a cracker, the rotor of the Miyota is freaking loud. At least it's quite accurate, at -3s/d. Thanks for the review, Steve!
@@EscapeWheel Yes it was really good to know that they didn’t use AR coating. Because in the description they claimed to use at coated sapphire crystal. Not a dealbreaker but good to know
Sir, may I ask you how many links you removed from the bracelet? Because I've read the length is only 200mm... Thank you for the amazing camera work, I appreciated it a lot!
@@EscapeWheel thank you for the kind reply. Sorry for that, I completely missed it, because I jumped straight to the bracelet chapter. Again, thank you very much!
i need to get me a two tone braclet like that for my grandfathers watch he gave me before he passed away. its a super worn in seiko. it need a new crystal and braclet and i think it would be fine with just that. the day and date function is jammed but i dont want to replace the whole watch and lose the sentimental value.
I do not like it Sam I am, I do not like green eggs and ham. Dr Seuss had it right. This watch repels me at first sight, however, once on your wrist not so bad. It sucks in so many aspects and yet rocks in others.... Good review.
Be careful with this brand, they send you a watch with manufacturing defects, I've purchased three Cadisen watches and all have come with manufacturing defect.
What do u think the best DateJust homage would be for a 6 inch wrist? I was looking at the pagani as its only 36mm but im not rlly sure it would suit a 6 inch wrist.
the Rmilati is also VERY good. it's nicer than the pagani and has a tone of dial options. obviously it's more expensive...but you get better lume, nicer build, nicer bracelet, nicer case and finishing, better crystal. it's just better. not that the Pagani is bad, but the Rimalti is very nice for the price.
Not the Wimbledon, but normal DJ HOMAGES. Alpha, RMALTI/rmalti, have both been reviewed on my channel. The Rimalti is excellent for the price IMO. Parnis, bliger, and San Martin all have 36mm DateJust now as well.
Not for me, I don't like it. Not a big fan of the two-tone, and I clearly don't like the dial (color, indices, hands too small). But I agree with you about the dimensions, it's perfect. And for the price, it's not a bad watch at all. Just I don't like it 🤷♂️😁 Thanks for the review, Steve.
its sad that watch makers don't come up with acually new creative designs. they just repeat the old, and make slight changes. instead of wiping the board, and actually creating something from scratch.
They dont _want_ to. They know they'll just be some ho-hum Chinese brand if they went with their own designs, instead they give people what they want - affordable homages.
@@yo-sefakimbey7009 you missed the point, there are many repeats, but few options that are actually original, yes i can afford them easily, and have many watches. but most makers keep same designs, only change colorsn nothing ground breakingly original.
At first glance it looks nice BUT endlinks fit not flush to the case and the brushing on top of the case looks like they made it was done using a chainsaw. And no thanks for originality in design …sapphire crytal 😂
Excellent review. I was just waiting for you to say you don't like the dial. I agree. Everything is done very well but as a, design it's a mess, don't like the original either.

Only review I care. Thanks for you Honest opinion man! Much appreciated ❤
I know it's not their design but damn I like it.
unique, stylish. nonchalant in high fashion style
thanks Cadisen! also
Finally a review. Thank you.
You are welcome. Glad I was able to review it.

The old style serifed Roman Numerals is such a gaudy step back vis-á-vis the modern style.
I agree.
Lol @ the duck. Great review. Surprised how nice the watch looks on the other straps.
Same here, I was debating no strap show, but I'm glad I did it
Sir, may I ask you how many links you removed from the bracelet? Because I've read the length is only 200mm...

I mentioned it in my dimensions. I removed 3 links, so it should be good up close to 8" 👍
@@EscapeWheel thank you for the kind reply. Sorry for that, I completely missed it, because I jumped straight to the bracelet chapter.
Again, thank you very much!
The applied white 9:00 incice is to balance the white date window. Of course, I wish it had a ghost date and no cyclops, but whatever.
Woof, the homage no one was asking for.
Lol, I actually saw a few that were waiting for it 🤷
I'm buying one to put on a green leather strap for St. Patrick's day.
The logo at 12 o'clock and crown are different, Cadison may like to standardize them instead of mixing the old and new logo.
yeah, an odd decision indeed.

What is the best DJ Wimbledon homage?
This? Not even sure there's another one, honestly...like I said in the review, it's not my favorite design so I haven't paid much attention

What is the Grey leather belt? Could you give a link? ❤
its the "Merkur gray suede" listed in the video description.
What do you think fits a very small 6 inch wrist? 36mm or 38mm dial?
Both would be fine, 36 would be better though. Look for a lug to lug around 44mm and you should be OK
I'm wearing this on my 6.25" wrist and it wears beautifully, in my opinion.
They need to make this one woth a champagne dial an different color markers other than green 😅
ugh those end links... would bother me so much
