Good video! Always wish I would’ve bout one of these new when I was stationed in Guam back in 80-81. They were like $3,000 new if I remember right. They also had a pickup they made as well. They should’ve sold those in the states as well. Thanks, gonna add you all to my list.

Often video doesn't give one a good idea of had bad conditions are, so this could be worse then it looks, but I would love to see a video where samurai's like these, with larger engines, big lifts and large tyres go up against a stock samurai 1.3L, stock suspension, with either good all terrains or muds to compare, maybe at most a rear airlocker and harley carb, thats all. I am not so convinced all these setups are entirely necessary? I have seen stock samurais do incredible things. Thanks for the video.
I have had multiple Samurai's. Right now I have one on stock axles with a spring over lift 33's proper gearing and a lincoln locked rear and just picked up another Im building for my dad. It will just have a lunchbox locker but will run it stock height for my dad to easily get in and out of. Havent compared them yet but I bet my dads will go almost as many places as mine.
It's powered by a Chevy so it gets up and goes.Those Hadley horns sound raspy so their not just for show.I'm riding high on forties so I lean when I turn.My pipes sound kind of naughty when the rubber gets burned it's you turn...
