This is exactly the kind of primer that sells the game to new players and catches them up without asking them to read from a book they may not own. It's always a tough sell when you have to do an info dump on the setting or ask them to take a chance on a book for a game they may or may not like. A video like this is PERFECT!

Thanks a lot for your kind words. It means a lot. 🙂 And to be honest - that has been the actual intent because as a GM myself since 2004, I know how hard it can be to sell a game to your players, if there’s no TL;DR version or video introducing it. Perhaps I get to making a few more of those in the future. I‘m currently having a closer look at “Shadow of the Demon Lord”.. let’s see if something will come of it.

Sadly, this game is more or less ignored by Modiphius/Fria Lingen at this point. It's a great system, and a great game. I own every product made for it... but I'm afraid no more products will be forthcoming.
Fria Ligan has got quite some games in their repertoire by now and to take care of. I don't think however that they will ever forget their roots and also the game that kicked it off on a global scale. One can still hope that there'll be more at some point. Fingers crossed. Until then, we can always just play with the material that we do have. And that is a lot for sure.
Actually they still working on Ad Astra and there's talks about a 2e edition:3
That's amazingly well done! How long did it take you to put it all together?
Thank you! It did take me longer than expected, actually. A more stripped-down version of it was presented to a group of players almost 2 years ago. After that I picked it up again and worked on it a bit more, occasionally. Last week I told myself "finish this off now, man!" and so I did. All in all I'd say 4 - 6 weeks of actual production, next to my day job. The tools used were Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Presonus Studio One, my favorite hardware synth Arturia Polybrute, and a few software synths as well as an AKG P220 as the main microphone for voice recordings.
so this is basically GURPS Gamma WORLD
Gamme World is a bit less "grounded in reality" I suppose and a bit more wacky at times. But both are awesome. :D

Would love to but I personally don’t speak Swedish. I did both the English and German version of it but that’s where it ends for me. Already got the offer by quite some people to help me out with a Swedish dub. However, I wouldn’t be able to tell if the quality is on a certain level (other than of course the general tone of voice, intonation and recording quality)..

@@emazalazar828 I do appreciate the offer and would allow it, however I would still like to have full control over it, that means: you provide the audio (and text as a pdf) and I do the rest, the implementation, the audio mix with sound effects and music as well as the Spanish subtitles that are part of the video. I would also upload it to my channel and credit you as the narrator.
