Anderson Paak has changed the rap game, much like Kanye did when he first came out. The difference is Paak has an amazing band, can drum, rap, and sing at the same time and has such an original mix of sound, song and music styles that he interchanges seamlessly between, sometimes within the same song. His timing is perfect. He drips sex appeal (his smile/drumming/dancing, my God!) What more could we want?
Kanye changed the rap game? When you actually change the rap game, you have imitators copying your style. Run DMC, Rakim, Jay-Z, Eminem these are people who changed the rap game, most others simply just left their mark but to literally influence new styles to emerge thus making the rap game change, that isn't Kanye, he is not in that group above just mentioned. A years ago I walked down the street in Hollywood to see him and the Free Nationals play right on Sunset Blvd for the grand re-opeing of Guitar Center, and it was dope AF, been a fan ever since, He's one of the very best young artists around, and I know he's been workin hard for a lot of years. No one will ever be disappointed seeing him perform live.
