I've been going to County since the 60s, seen it all before,,, stop moaning and get behind the team,,, as another comment says we've got the best manager,best squad,,, get Will and Louie back and no one will beat us,,, cmon County
Completely agree. I been there since the late 50's and have lost count of the disappointments over the years. But hope springs eternal
Missing Barry, MSH, Knoyle, Camps, Croasdale, Collar, Stretton, Rydel, Wright today, everyone can pontificate all they want but I don’t care if you are Pep at Man City or Dave Challinor at County, when you consistently have had 7/8/9 and even 10 players missing from your team, you are going to struggle, end of story.
We’re currently on 63 points and our target is at 83/ 84 points for automatic promotion (based on Northampton’s total last season). That means we will need 20/21 points out of the remaining 12 games (36 points available in total). So we need to either pick up 7 wins or 5 wins and 5/6 draws out of the last 12 games to achieve our minimum target. Do we have what it takes to secure that? We don’t based off our recent performances but things can quickly change in this league. One thing is for certain though, and that is that we need to get behind the team every minute of every match. Let’s start encouraging our players again, and stop moaning and groaning when there is a mistake or missed opportunity. We’re the 12th man, and we have a duty too 🔵⚪️
Sideways - sideways - back - sideways - back will kill any crowd, abysmal to watch and its the curse of the modern day and modern 'laptop' football .... any fan will forgive any player who trys something positive, loses the ball if going forward, misses shots or shots get saved ... but games are only won in the oppositions half and by getting the ball in the oppositions net ... who ever thinks that Non-League, Div 2, Div 1 keepers and back 4's can play football from the back are deluded, its that level for a reason ... its not Champions League so stop trying it!
Missing almost a team full of players, sitting second in the league, fortunate to have the backing that we can still put out a decent side with all those injuries. Some of the comments about players, manager etc are insane and a good way to spot those who weren’t watching in the Conf North or people with crazy expectations to win every game. Frustrating game but we’ll go up and those complaining will be singing the names of those they are complaining about 😂
We all need to believe!! Best manager! And the best team! 💪⚽️

Fair play here. You didn't single any player out for the performance and you did defend Touray. For any fan slagging the team, player etc. spare a thought these lads are having to deal with the pressure week in week out. County have been top for 4 months, riddled with injuries and yet still top. Maybe instead of putting them down, wait behind after the game and show some support when they're leaving Edgely Park. It might spur them on to win the league. You'll all be celebrating in the glory then.
Still riding off of our record-equaling 12 game winning run. The math's don't lie.
From those 12 games we accrued 57% of our current point tally - that is a LOT with 22 games either side of that run. We've looked good in spells and small stretches, but we're so far behind that standard we set earlier in the season. The title looks unrealistic at this point.
I still think promotion is more than likely, but the lads need a jolt of belief in the coming weeks - hopefully that happens when some of them are back from injury (particularly Barry).
I just feel we've been found out, injuries have cost us dearly and the whole "we need striker" is getting boring sure we've not been firing on all cylinders but we need the likes of Louie Barry, Akil Wright and MSH back but it seems we've been making costly mistakes by giving away needless set-pieces in our own half, I do believe in DC's lads and we need the atmosphere as most of the last few home games have been lacking for some reason. Really pissed off yesterday with all the passing back and not forward it would work on most teams but we need the dominant team at home but we're not the highest goalscoring team (it's Mansfield by one goal) something needs to change 😡😡😡

Personality and character needed I agree. No leaders out there . When 6 minutes injury time was announced we were fired up the players were flat. Nice nice lads no doubt but soft as shit and not one single boss on the pitch
We need Louie Barry back asap !!!! Oloafe is totally out of form wooton well I don’t know ??? Madden is he past it ?? I honestly would try nick Powell up front
No John.... We didn't "deserve" to win it..... On the balance of play, and the fact that both teams were terrible today, you can argue that on chances..... Erm..... "created", we should maybe have got more out of the game than we did...... But we absolutely didn't "Deserve" to win it.
Which ultimately is very disappointing.... Cos Swindon were absolutely Dog Turd!!!!
We were disappointing & have been for a while now. If we can't turn over a hopeless team like Swindon at home then we're obviously not doing the right things. Four games & one goal is a very very poor stat & for the top of the league it's appalling. I know we have injuries & so has everyone else, if we fall back on that then we're saying that our squad isn't good enough. So which is it?
We consistently have the possession yet now don't have the goals & concede more. We need faster, better play around their box, players that are ready & able to take chances. This with a defence that seems to nod off on the wrong occasion. Our shape(s) isn't, aren't working, Olaofe is fast but can't lay a ball off in the centre, Madden is lost, Sarcevic is running his legs off to nowhere & Powell is just playing classy passes to no one. What is needed if we want to get out of this awful situation (& it can get worse) is to reshape the team. Put Olaofe on the wing with Madden in the middle with Sarcevic alongside & start throwing balls in from the wing. Anything is better than this acceptance that we're not going to win the league, anything is better than accepting dismal draws or defeat. Come on County.
First half was an embarrassing clueless performance. Second half much better but our "strikers" were hopeless a very disappointing result.
This team are too relient on the pass a goal strategy for tap in 6 yard goals... They loose the ability to finish in direct play cos they're programmed to look for a pass first even when they hit the 6 yard line.. Byrne on Tuesday is so typical....Even more so today with the front line.. They've lost the killer instinct to score first and foremost 👌

Still go up, wont last long in league 1 with that team, he needs to buy well in the summer, we are still creating chances which is a good sign. League a lot faster so none of this passing back and sideways because players don't want to make mistakes.
So for instance it happens again, you think the team is strong enough ? The good players seem to be more of an injury concern over a season. League 1 is a lot faster intensively @@neildeakin4454
