Datsun L28ET SoundMod | Assetto Corsa | DevilZ [Wangan Midnight]

Finally releasing this engine sound as I feel like it is as good as it can get with my current skillset.
Engine sounds beautifully in the game.
Changed since the V1.0 BETA are:
- Engine is now louder [straight pipe]
- I got rid of the annoying "clicking" sound when transitioning between samples
- Turbo is now louder
It took a lot of figuring out on how to make this sound work properly, but after a lot of forum searching I managed to find answer to my question.
Currently this mod is in the V1.01. This is the OFFICIAL Release.
V1.01 only includes L28ET with 7000RPM limiter, tho the 8000RPM version is being developed and worked on, together with SR20, 11,000RPM Monster Cam RB26 and VG30ET.

Wow man ... Awesome ! I am also working with the engine simulator and i think this thing will light up the future of soundmod ;) Great job man . If i can help you , we can hear the transitions between samples on the on throttle . You can avoid that by playing with "root pitch " . Good luck

Glad to see Im not the only crazy to try that hahaha!
Definitely could do with some help bro, I have barely touched FMod, this is my first finished and working sound mod too! I know you can hear the transition (it's better than what I started with hahah) so if you know how I can sort it, it will be appreciated! Root pitch isn't telling me much 🤣 not much of an audio guy by any means hahah

also it's cool how you got to use the engine sim for samples. When I first saw it from the vid I thought there was potential, but I didnt think someone would already implement it on a game this fast, great work man. I hope I can see more of your work using it and also hope to see the engine sim be improved

The car is available at the bottom of the mod page bud, you can try it out, it's an old model so it needs some improvements, that will come one day I guess lol
I thought same thing tbh, app has loads of potential, it's jusy time consuming to get the sound just right, VG30 is proving to be a difficult one to make as well, as I can't figure out how to make Unequal length manifolds in the engine, as the VG30ET used almost like a subaru manifold design, and gave the engine very unique rumble that I just cant get to work 😅
But when I first found Engine Sim my goal was to make the ultimate L28ET sound, that's why implementation happened so far, probably like within few weeks time!
And I had a workin prototype within a week if I remember right!
