Yeah I've managed actually, its a silly one... Took me a while to find out source of this issue, it's your sound clips /samples being too long. I used clips that were like 30s long, because I wanted to make a sound that won't sound like it's constantly looping, but that ended up being the issue. You can't actually use samples longer than I think 10s because the AC Supported Version of FMOD, does not support clips that are longer, the more recent released do support that, but these aren't supported by the game. So your only way is to shorten the samples you trying to use. Also, make sure you are using correct file format, anx not mp3 cuz that will make samples weird too

Hey! It does sound a little different yeah, maybe just the firing order I have used, it works tho. I did what worked, I couldn't find what's the "correct" firing order is, so it was try and error of trying to make engine run best I could and trying to use "common sense" to figure it out. I listened to yours and mine very closely, and like I say, the difference is there, but I wouldn't say it's a completely different sound, they both sound fairly similar to me. I just enjoy making engines in this app.

@@slightlyinsaneraf Yeah its a lot of fun playing with this. I made the firing order based on a typical inline 5 cylinder engine. 1-2-4-5-3. So the rotors are spaced 72 degrees apart on the eccentric shaft.

@@Fizzer99 yeah, i cant remember my firing order but its something like 14352 or something and im pretty sure my rotors are still using 90° spacings but i maybe wrong. Same goes for 6rotor that I made, but I made spacings on that using picture of 39b shaft as reference

If we follow the original Mazda chamber displacement (654cc per rotor): 13B = 2 rotor 1.3 20B = 3 rotor 2.0 (actually 1.962) 26B = 4 rotor 2.6 33B = 5 rotor 3.3 (the one that Mazzei Formula is building, he also confirmed that's the correct name and displacement) 40B = 6 rotor 4.0 (actually 3.924, in this case could be 39 or 40, depends in which rounding you prefer to use for naming it 😅)

@@rickorso yeah my rotaries are based on the demo version meaning they a bit under 654cc. I made my own name fir my engine 33R 33 for 3.3 R for Rotary (crazy i know)

Different times, loads of companies made 2.0 I6s and even V6 BMW, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Lexus /Toyota, probably some more i dont now about or can't remember. Loads of these were turbo or twin turbo as well and made some good power

4 cylinders are popular now because of bullshit emissions, but 6cyl low disp engine had quiet a few benefits

Glad to see Im not the only crazy to try that hahaha! Definitely could do with some help bro, I have barely touched FMod, this is my first finished and working sound mod too! I know you can hear the transition (it's better than what I started with hahah) so if you know how I can sort it, it will be appreciated! Root pitch isn't telling me much 🤣 not much of an audio guy by any means hahah

The car is available at the bottom of the mod page bud, you can try it out, it's an old model so it needs some improvements, that will come one day I guess lol I thought same thing tbh, app has loads of potential, it's jusy time consuming to get the sound just right, VG30 is proving to be a difficult one to make as well, as I can't figure out how to make Unequal length manifolds in the engine, as the VG30ET used almost like a subaru manifold design, and gave the engine very unique rumble that I just cant get to work 😅 But when I first found Engine Sim my goal was to make the ultimate L28ET sound, that's why implementation happened so far, probably like within few weeks time! And I had a workin prototype within a week if I remember right!

I believe the last time I had access to this mod was here: facebook.com/groups/778198552329206/?ref=share Unfortunately, I accidently got rid of the car and the Cappucino, so I don't have them for ages now and I can't access these anymore as my mate deleted them, so these are only a memory now, unless you can find it on that FB group, unfortuately I couldn't find them, which is a shame cuz it was an absolute weapon!

This car is unfortunately unavailable anymore, it got delated ages ago by accident, but tbh, it was never supposed to be released anyways as I made for my own use anyways. I will be making something similar in the future, as it was a sick car for wangan and ngl I want it back. Keep an eye on the channel, something will get released sooner or later.
