    the pencil sharpener one, once the vegetable gets about 3/4 of the way down you can't use it any more without cutting yourself (a fork gets a little more out of it but not by much) but they have a newer version where you kind of stab it onto a small spiked plate and crank forward like a meat grinder. its a lot bigger and takes up more space but it uses the whole vegetable and is easier to use.

    • @soupsgord
      @soupsgord 4 года назад +1

    My Orgreenic Pan is still as slick as snot. 8yrs old. You cannot use anything but a wash cloth or a plastic scrubber on that surface. I regularly sew together 6-7 (replacing as necessary) layers of used dryer sheets and use that homemade scrubby-thingy to scrub my nonstick pots and pans, Corning Ware and Pyrex glass bakeware, baking sheets, plates and glasses and I never have a problem with them. They're all very old and get A LOT of use. The scrubbers do an excellent job of removing burnt-on grease and oil, and with minimal effort - the key strategy is to use a couple of drops of dish soap on a near dry or wrung out scrubby-thingy applying it to the mess, wash something else and come back to it. When I have worked as a keeper in other people's homes I have successfully removed their old bond on Greece from many years in the same way, only when it's years old, you must first run hot water over the pan and then apply the dish soap, let it set a few minutes BUT get to scrubbing on it before the pan gets cooled off!

    Looking at those LEDs on the side socket, you got the one with a surge suppressor. Most of us don't know how often those things save small appliances. Side socket type probably don't stop a huge surge, but hey, might help. The secret of the green skillet or copper is how you care for it. No Pam, No dish washers, No excessive stove top heat. You failed to point out that it isn't scratched up in 7 years like the old Teflon types. Or is it scratched? Keep up the good work, I subscribed today.

    Catch caddy's have become so "accepted" that there's generic knock off's of them at Walmart and the like.
    I know in my car that trying to get underneath the drivers seat that can only tilt directions is a nightmare and anything that goes down the side without the caddy is just *gone* unless I get in the backseat and crawl around underneath it hoping for the best.

    The stone wave works because it's not new. That exact design has been around since nearly the middle ages. There is an 18th century historical cooking show on RUclips that uses one with the same design and they sell it on sites geared for early American reenactment. It's just a ceramic sauce pot.

    I have the foam fill ins for the car seats, then I saw the catch caddy. If I didn’t have the foam, but the catch caddy looks great...extra storage and less lost items. I can’t even begin to say how many things I’ve lost under my car seat and had to look for several times before finding them! I had a pair of magnetic sunglasses which attached to my reading specs. But they were slim and attached to the seat gliding rails in a very secluded spot. I was sick over losing them, as they were expensive. But, one night on my evening commute home, I reached down between the seat and door and retrieved them! I was at a stop light and they were on my mind. I was actually on my way to the optician’s office to buy another pair, when I found them! So, having something to keep items from falling between you counsels and car seats, is very helpful! Catch caddy looks like a winner! Love FR reviews! Side sockets are pretty good. We use them in the kitchen for multiple appliances. The plugs don’t stick out so far and the cords run sideways making your countertop a bit more organized. Just got the tiered spice rack, which isn’t perfect, but way better than having a shelf full of slices you can’t even see. Plus the tiered shelves are expandable. We also have a larger one for cans in our pantry, which is SO much better than those snap together can holders where your cans roll out. You can’t see what you have and every time those heavy cans drop down, when you take one out, it jiggles the snap together holder and it falls apart. What a pain to put it back together. Don’t get one!

      2¢ Chicks I’m in my 30’s and I had spinal fusion surgery that screwed 20 screws to two rods for 10 broken vertebrae (crazy fluke like a birth defect, didn’t know I had). Long story short, my iPhone 6plus is so thin without a case it slipped into the chasm nearly daily, and either couldn’t get it, hurt myself trying to bend, or actually getting stuck where I couldn’t get up or out of the pretzel shape I put myself in. This stupid piece of plastic has lived up to expectations, and really for me on a scale from 1-10 it’s an 11. It’s the dumbest, cheapest thing that I ever bought, and won’t be without one again. I highly recommend everyone get one. It could save aggravation but possibly an accident if you’re trying to retrieve something like a phone, even though you shouldn’t too many do.

    You can fix those old ceramic pans by scrubbing with a paste made from vinegar & baking soda. It removes build-up.

    • @Dirty_Bear22
      @Dirty_Bear22 6 лет назад +3

      Nanny Boo why bother mixing the baking soda with vinegar? water and baking soda would do the same thing... also commercial made scrubs like bar keepers friend do a lot better job then baking soda.

    • @nannyboo1368
      @nannyboo1368 6 лет назад +12

      It's an old time remedy. The baking soda is alkaline and the vinegar is acid. Mixing them makes a chemical reaction that helps remove the buildup. But by all means, use whatever you like.

    • @Dirty_Bear22
      @Dirty_Bear22 6 лет назад +14

      Nanny Boo that’s what bothers me, that chemical cocktail wasn’t ever good for cleaning. All that fizzing dose nothing for actual cleaning... assuming the distilled white vinegar (weak acetic acid) is fully reacted with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) the products are: Sodium acetate, water, and carbon dioxide none of which are very good cleaners. People started associating the bubbling reaction with cleaning without having a basic sense of chemistry. It’s just another stupid home “cleaning” remedy that’s unfortunately spreading like wildfire among the uniformed.
      Scrubbing with baking soda works because it’s a rather strong abrasive meaning it physically scrapes off buildup. You would be better off just mixing it with Watertown form a paste and use the vinegar somewhere it won’t go completely to waste.

    • @nannyboo1368
      @nannyboo1368 6 лет назад +6

      Okay, Mr. Illuminati, you do yours, I'll do mine. Thanks for the input!

    • @madridflower
      @madridflower 6 лет назад +4

      Actually vinegar is a very good cleaner. You can clean from build up soap to grease with vinegar and adding baking soda gives a fine abrasion to the mix which also helps to clean. The reaction releases bubbles and this helps to lift any build up. It's a classical for a reason, it's a FACT it works very well to clean most surfaces in a household.

      Freakin' Reviews I also had the organics green colored pan. I got it at the CVS I think after seeing an infomercial on the whole product line from cookie sheets to pots and pans in all kinds of sizes to casserole baking dishes to bread and cake pans in round and square shapes and grill pans that can also all go in the oven b/c they are oven safe up to a certain temp. The infomercial got me but I only bought the small pan for cooking eggs and such and it chipped even though they claim the products are chip free. They even showed a electric hand cake beater/mixer being used in the pan w/ no chips or scratches as well as a metal fork, knife going back and forth over the surface along w/ a metal spoon used to stir some food in the pan. All w/ no chipping or scratching which they guaranteen will not happen but my pan scratched. Lies all lies. Was also at a Goodwill either last year or this year and someone donated one w/ a school in it for three or four dollars. I told the manager about the chip just in case someone didn't see it and she said she did not miss it and that they were going to sell it anyway.

      Nope. Doesn't work. I mean, it works, and appears to clean it, but then the food always sticks there. I've had two of these because I thought with the first one, that surely I must have messed up the seasoning process. Mine have ALWAYS had sticking problems and I ALWAYS have to use oil with them. Even after I've used baking soda and scrubbed it clean and washed it, I do the seasoning all over again and it STILL sticks. The. Worst. Skillet. Ever.

And if you push it down far enough, it will create a trap to catch things just like the caddyshacker or whatever it's called. Just to let you know how to clean the Organic Green frying pan, put straight white vinegar or even half vinegar/half hot water over the level of the 'stuff' you can't get out, and let it sit overnight. I prefer to just use straight vinegar. You should be able to get the crud off the next day or if you heat it up to make the vinegar hot, you can wipe it off with a paper towel. I've been doing that to mine for years when it gets a build up of cooking crud.

Most medical stuff plugs in, so outlets were always at a premium and the mom had bought some side sockets to allow us to use some otherwise covered outlets. It was... okay. When we moved the cart with the equipment on it, things often came unplugged. It only took a small bump for things to stop getting power, so we quickly learned to avoid it as much as possible during treatments. But on the positive side of things, it did give us access to far more outlets. I give it a C-.

    Watch out for that veg string cutter. Inspect it each time you use it to make sure one of those cutting teeth didn't break off and get into your food.

    you do know you can microwave in any freezer zip bag it has to be a freezer bag(quart or gallon size) but even some of the cheap ones work good. don't seal bag turn back top of bag so zipper is facing out fill with frozen veggies half way or so up bag microwave on high for 5 minutes. For fresh veggies add 2 Tablespoons water and microwave 5 minutes check to see if it is done, you can microwave for an additional 5 minutes. yes you can do a Scrambled Egg in a bag or even a foam bowl I have done that many times.

    We did a thing in my school when I was in 4th grade (2011) where we were supposed to invent something that would fix a problem. I did something similar to the catch caddy but slightly more basic.

    Bought one of those green skillets too, it's a glorified silver stone product & more expensive. I still have to use oil or the eggs stick. Have had better luck with the surface clean up but you can only use wood or plastic utensils. I've used it for a few yrs. but won't buy another one, not cost effective. I often wonder what's the composition of the green surface? New to the channel, luv the reviews. Thanks.

    Have you ever tried attaching the Super Strainer directly onto the pot that the noodles are boiled in? That's where I'd place it. The bowl you were using doesn't seem to be the kind that you would boil noodles in. Who knows? Maybe it will work better.

    Is it just me .. but I tried the orgreenic pan about 3 years ago and it was horrible. The pan had everything stuck on it . Instead of me using less oil I used more oil. I followed the directions and nothing idk what I did wrong or..

      I've never used that brand of pan but modern cookware except Lodge's cast iron is all crap, and all the same crap. You can usually go to Goodwill and find some good cast iron that's all rusty because somebody stuck it in the dishwasher. Just give it a good hand washing, use some sandpaper or steel wool if you must, then heat it, rub it down with olive oil, and it's ready for use for the next 500 years or so.

    Im still rocking my Orgreenic and it's worn incredibly well, no residue in mine. Ive tried the generic versions and find the coating wears off quickly and makes them useless. Ive also tried the Redcopper pans and found that they dont work as well as Orgreenic, at least in my experience.

    With the side socket extreme heat may cause an issue like running an AC unit or two or a toaster with it close to the couch like that it could be issues if it were pushed back further on a hot day with the AC running and the toaster going it could be a number of different things with high power that would make it heat up quite a bit otherwise it's a good thing

    The Veggetti, while being a good idea, fails as a concept in my opinion. The cups on either side are so deep that you'll end up being unable to process half your vegetable, so you would essentially have to buy twice as much just to have one vegetable worth of "noodles." A nice healthy option for someone trying to eat better, or perhaps someone that's on a gluten-free diet, but it just seems like it would work a lot better if the cups were much, much more shallow.

    your microwave oven uses the same frequency modulation as your wireless devices and smart phones....2.4 GHZ. That frequency IS a weaponised frequency. Silent weapons for quiet wars and reduced lifespan. Dr.Barry Trower should be your reference on this. Easily found on youtube. Once you've subscribed and liked this man's videos.
