Magnificent! Sarah is one of the best young singer-songwriters in the business. Coming across her is like stumbling across Joni Mitchell at the same age. :)
Space Cowboy, this is Star Walker, Joni Mitchell is a fair comparison, a Joni Mitchell on the edge of "Progressive Fresh Grass", of late, I think Sarah Trio is the front edge of the step beyond this one. Main thing is enjoy whatever your mind might takes a liken for. Go Sarah,
I just discovered you for the first time and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the coolest songs I've ever heard... Thank you for writing it.
When I listened to this song for the first time I was blown up.... It was so "fresh" as many said, and it's still so. And l still come here to feel that resonance between strings, voice and uncommon chords...
Song Up in Her Head, Edge of a Dream, Mansinneedof, Gypsy, Broussard's Lament and many, many others including this one. Sarah has a great talent and she keeps improving her skills with instruments. Her voice is unique, may it be the most special thing about her. Oh, by the end, her lyrics say a thousand things to.everyone who can enjoy a good song. :]
Saw you in NH at the Tupelo Music Hall perhaps 10 years ago and I knew then you were going to be successful. Your lyrics, voice and musicality is absolutely amazing. Love you!
A great combination of interesting rhythms, great singing and interesting harmonic progressions all result in something really special. As a musician myself, I have worked with a few really talented songwriters - it's a very inspiring and fulfilling thing to do. IMO, Sara is definitely 'up there' with some of the greats (Joni Mitchell, Judee Sill, Becca Stevens, etc). Music like Sara's rally makes life worth living, and makes people like me want to join in! Thank you, Sara.
Seems her 4 years at NEC have added depth and sophistication to her songwriting as well as her vocal skills. This artist just keeps on growing and evolving.
Sarah, I was just listening to the folk category Grammy nominees and your album is incredible. I especially like the third song "Mile On The Moon". I'll be voting for you. Especially the mandolin solo, but most importantly your voice is so calmingly magnificent. Keep up the good work. This video is lovely, too.
How i wish by some miraculous occurance that i could find a way to see you in Hamilton, Oh. My ticket's in hand, but my options were a ten hour bike ride, tramping it, or a rivetting adventure at the mercy of a train bound something in the direction of the southwest with a nice cushiony litter of springy puppies to leap onto. Hope next tour you'll consider columbus. You're an incredible talent (as though you need to be told), and may you ever evolve.
Build me up from bones is surprisingly (?) better then preceding one. With a good couple of headphones on i can walk for hours listening at this album.
Sarah Jarosz is the best! I find her to be most captivating.

Sarah Jarosz you are a breath of fresh air.
I first came across this music about seven months ago, my grand daughter and I love this. I can't watch this just once.
What a monster talent, so tasteful and fresh, they are just awesome musicians.
. I saw the youngest Sarah and Alex in France few years ago and I had already felt fragility and determination. Subtle music. Thanks.
Heard this on Prarie Hom Companion last night (6-27-15) and I'm completely hooked. This is wonderful.

Sarah & the lads just keep getting better & better. An incredible blend of voice & string.
They remain 'crazy good.'
Celtic underpinnings, Appalachian overtones, and Jazz tones....darn....incredible.
Love your music. I'm beyond words for your newest album. And you're using the Bottle mic by Blue. Awesomeness...
Pure talent and sweet voice. Bright future ahead.
I have fallen in love with her smile!
Amazing - you guys rock! Wow, that cello!

Your music is so beautiful, it just takes me away. And the words that say a thousand things. Thanks Sarah.
The dude on the bass strings is intense and powerful best I ever seen .
I think it’s a cello.
SpaceCowboyToo took the words right out of my mouth! Magnificent!
Thank you Sarah. Thank you.

Look at that, over 37 thousand views and only 3 thumbs down...and those people don't count.
the question would be why there is even one thumb down. this is perfect
Trolls, always the trolls of bad taste.
They clearly had an ear infection 😂
GOOD VIBE'S
must see these people live
Any plans for a mainland Europe tour?
NiCe
Is it just me or does this trio represent the spearhead of a new paradigm shift in music, not unlike The Beatles or Jaco Pastorious?
don't know if they are the spearhead, but they are damn good. Check out the Wood Brothers.
They are the pinnacle of a period where pop music buried it's head in it's own ass.
The epitome of Americana.
Same mic as I do :)
Wish I had stems so I could listen to just the instrumental! (Nothing against the singing tho)
a little part of me hoped this would be a Jason Mraz cover.
He should be doing Sarah Jarosz covers. Better music.
Should it concern me, as I pass my 30th year, that a large portion of my new music exposure comes from a bearded economist in his 60s?
No
