Sabo leader card gives a 2k boost to a character when putting 1 to life. Luffy is swinging for 8k and will stay at that till next turn

Reminders that perona can only use her effect if opponent has 5 or more cards in hand! :) so when sabo took life he still wasn’t threatened with a potential perona for the hand effect

Learning how to play moria myself right now, as to why he pitched so many, my guess is he already decided he was gonna play 8c moria next turn and wanted options on what to play. Looks like he pitched Tsuru (minus cost to combo with absalom), hogback (to get something back depending on game state) and brannew (He already had one in trash, so my guess is maybe a double brannew play to look for something specific, like maybe ice age?). Depending on what his opponent did on his next turn he wanted to have different plays set up with 8c moria to be able to follow up everything.

It wasn’t 13k swing it was 12 if he had the rad beam and 2 2k he would’ve lost he could’ve played Rebecca add 2k play sabo dig for more counter and still probably win
