FILM DESCRIPTION:
The human race stands on the brink of extinction as a series of alien attacks decimate the planet, causing earthquakes, tsunamis and disease. Separated from her family, Ohio teenager Cassie Sullivan (Chloë Grace Moretz) will do whatever it takes to reunite with her brother Sam. Fate leads her to form an alliance with Evan Walker (Alex Roe), a mysterious young man who may be her last hope. It was made for kids, they were taken and the army will kill their parents so they'll go to the military base full of aliens, to kill the original humans seeking refuges upon the streets, and those kids were sent on a mission with a tracking device or something to kill all humans.

Epic Gunner I mean, their CO introduced themselves as the Army even though they’re wearing Marine Corps uniforms and have the Navy’s name tag style where officers have gold names on their uniform so yeah, I think hair regulation is the least of our worries.

To all the people wondering how the alien got inside his brain, there’s actually a very simple and reasonable explanation:
It’s not actually in his head, it’s just a ruse by the military (who are controlled by the aliens via downloadable conscience) to make the kids think that they are on their side. This also makes me not care as much about the shitty cgi in this scene, as it adds to the effect when you find out it was never actually real.

The colorful writing in the book was excellent, and I can see how that big plot twist of targeting humans worked in the book. That said, it was just too obvious and predictable in the movie for some reason.

It's the fifth wave and its about how an alien spaceship comes and commences waves to destory the human population, 1) emp, 2) tsunamis, 3) disease, 4) infect some humans in the womb years before so when they grow up they are like sleeper agents and these are the real aliens and then the aliens convince the remaining humans that aren't aliens that other humans actually are which is why this scene is fake and there is no parasite. Rather the true alien is the lieutenant woman who is using the kids to kill the remaining humans

Even tho I’m a year late, everyone dissing the cgi, if you’ve watched it, it’s actually not real and it’s just so the children think they’re on their side, so tbh the cgi being bad adds the fact it’s not real, so it sort of makes me like it more

I have read through the trilogy twice and Yancey's writing is amazing.
