I have the titanium version with VG10 blade. It is more expensive but also much better than the basic AUS8 Subcom imo. The only thing I dislike is the jimping on the side. It is totally unnecessary and digs too much into my fingers when gripping it tightly. Btw, the Subcom is so small that it easily fits into the coin pocket of my jeans.

they also make böker magnum and this is even cheaper you can get a magnum knife for about 20$
Magnum is fixed blade and not a folding
magnum is a line of knives made by böker! (type "boker magnum" in at amazon!)

i got mine with half shraded blade and it cost $50 well worth the money but i got mine at bass pro shops
