I knew Willemijn had fans all over the world, but wow. Let me tell you... I had planned to go to London on August because of her. I'm from Spain, and I was waiting just for watching her on Wicked. I'm really sad because it was like a dream come true, she's my favourite Elphaba, and when I knew she left the show I get really painful. But I wish the best for her, and we will always have the memories of her amazing voice playing Elphaba!

This made me cry. In my opinion she is the best Elphie, I feel so privileged to have seen her in February and she became my favourite Elphaba by far.
I don't usually cry much, but this must be the very first audio recording fron Wicked to actually make me a little teary eyed, so touching! It'll remain one of my biggest regrets not going to see her sooner, was going to go last show in October but never mind, the prospect of seeing Kerry Ellis again is very exciting!

It should not have ended this way. Not because of this reason. But my god I admire her strength. She's such an inspiration. I love that woman.

I would have loved to see her, unfortunately my travel to London wasn't until August so I wasn't able to see her. Kerry Ellis was really great, but I hope that Willemijn will come back. Even if it was for just one show, I'd fly there no matter where and when it was.

I can't stop crying, between the emotional speech, and having similar experiences where I've had to part from people I love. Just hearing them talk, clearly crying is quite enough to start crying, but this is amazing! Thank you SO SO SO much for uploading. And do you still have the full recording? If you do can you send it my way?
I don't even particularly like Willemijn (I think I am the weird one here) and this video still had me crying, because of Savannah... poor Savannah was nearly (or definitely) crying and so was Willemijn! That's so sad for them :(

The thing I love most is that when Wicked recognised her talent, the UK were like “We have a strong European Elphaba so we can’t not have her in London”

She has to have surgery to treat her back injury. She's been struggling with it for months. She has been missing a few shows a week since mid-March/early April because of the injury, but has soldiered on and still continued to perform even though it sounds like she has been in a lot of pain!

Jesslin Tjong A Tjoe Apparently someone did film the curtain call and speeches and said they would post it on YT, but they obviously haven't yet and I don't know who they were. But let's just hope they do! I was there, obviously, but I'd love to have a video of the speeches!
