Yeah, Jinhao fude nibs are so much fun ! I have one on a 159 and my original thought was to replace it with a Bock nib, but then I gave it a try and I was so excited! I have even widened the channels of the feed with a razor and now it is even more wet ! PS: and yes we all love you Oddly satisfying videos ❤
When you smacked the pen to get ink to splatter out, that took me back to my first fountain pen... A no-name pen from a Japanese dollar store (Daiso). I somehow discovered that blowing on the nib would cause ink to splatter all over, so I would randomly do that in pages of my notebooks.
Its always fun to watch you do your thing and for me to try to copy what you write and see if my writings improved. I must say that Fude nib is funky! Gotta get me one!
Well, that was fun! Writing thru the other ink drops made a really cool effect with that fat nib. Never would have thought to do that. Just got a Noodler's Triple Tail, been having all sorts of fun with that one and a bunch of ink samples. Going to have to try that droplet thing next time I'm slinging ink.
Thanks- For sketching I hold it almost vertical if I want a fine line and gradually bring it at a lower angle for a thicker line. Great line variation in one stroke!
I love Fude nibs , and I have quite a few pens including the Sailor Fude de manned, the Duke 551 Confusiuos and many others.. Fude is pronounced Fuday.. many Urban Sketchers love Fude pens.. we love the line variation. When you tip it up it writes thin, and yes reverse very thin. But just tipping it up is easier..
I have two Duke Confucious and a Duke Guang yi fountain pens, all with a huge almost 2 milimeter bent point. Also have a Duke 669 with a number 5 nib an a very soft writing. The price and quality got me addicted to them.
"Here's why I'm writing slow, because when I write faster it's hideous" - your handwriting is fantastic, don't be so hard on yourself! You should see my chicken scratch cursive... I just got a really broad Fude nib the other day and have been playing around with it using Monarca Cenote ink, which is a gorgeous purple - blue spectrum with sheen and shimmer.
Another Great writing Video. You inspired me to dig out the 2 Sailor Fudes I bought for about 25 bucks US for a sketching course. Love them, but now going to clean at least one out and put some wild ink in it and play. Thank you.
Wonderful video! These fude nibs look like great fun. I like your handwriting - it is awesome. Was the Concord nib named after the supersonic airplane? [As it resembles the nose section of the plane].
I haven't had this happen. To prevent burping with my eyedroppers, I usually keep the barrel full of ink and if it starts getting low, I just try not to jostle it too much.
I LIKE the new set. Colors and shapes add to the fun of the video.
The multi-color ink trick u did in the end was amazing 😲! I should try that out! Thanks for the demonstration ☺!! Such a fun video! Thank you 🙏

Ooooh I might have to do that!
I am really enjoying these fun-for-less videos!
Thank you for the feedback! It helps me decide what kind of things to do that viewers will enjoy!

You use fountain pens in such interesting ways. Loads of things for me to try. 🙏
Definitely had fun watching! Can't wait to try that nib and that ink-splatters trick!
Ooh that looks like fun! I want to try one of those nibs.🌻😊😊

Your writing is wonderful, no need to put yourself down.. Fude pens are great!
Thank you, Eileen. You are so kind :)
Omg my mind is legit blown right now. 🤯 I must get one of these nibs.
YAAAAS
yesssss the C1 is bosshogg! combined with a fude nib and SHA-ZAM magic.
Thank You , that was fun to watch :)

And of course the oddly satisfying videos are so alluring... another word could’ve been better; that was the only word i had in my head😅
I gotta get one of those nibs soon!
I have a Sailor Fude de mannen. It helps me to write in three different thicknesses!
ironically I had just ordered a moon man fude pen, then i saw this :)
I ordered moonman p135 with normal pen and now I'm regretting not choosing the mini-fude nib :(

Delightful video!!!

Was the Concord nib named after the supersonic airplane?
[As it resembles the nose section of the plane].
The way you hold the pen way back to the body of the pen is a common style.
Some of my fave doodles were done with a fude'ed MOONMAN!!!!!
YES! MOAR fude love! #FUDEFRIDAY
Is it compatible with jinhao 450 nib? I mean which fude nib you put on?
What was the ink mix?
The barrel has Sailor Manyo Akebi and there was some Pilot Blue-Black in the feed!
Do you get any “burping” with this eyedropper?
I haven't had this happen. To prevent burping with my eyedroppers, I usually keep the barrel full of ink and if it starts getting low, I just try not to jostle it too much.
What is the exact name of that bent nib? Jinhao N6 without other specification?
I wanna buy one, I'd use it for my sign
Moonman fude/bent nib
