    Hello my brother. Thanks for this review. I'm glad this is coming from a personal trainer. I developed runner's knee (ran on flight decks in the navy/ half-marathons), and I don't run as much as I used to. I joined a gym solely for the treadmill, but with winter around the corner, I'd rather work out at home instead of driving to the gym at 5 am. Then, I thought about getting me a treadmill to add to my weight collection at home, but treadmills are huge. Then I started seeing the mini steppers on RUclips. I've watched several reviews, but yours is what sold me. I appreciate it. I cant wait to use it with weights.

    Hi! Thank you for this video. I just purchased one today. I was on a calorie deficit for over 6 months and went from 212lbs to 153lbs. I didn’t do any exercise that entire time so now I am hoping to incorporate it in to shape my body since I want to build my legs and slim down my stomach. I started walking 15 mins yesterday & including at home glute workouts with resistance bands and dumbbells. Realistically will this mini stepper help me build my glutes & legs and improve stamina? It’s so hard, I can only do a little right now but I know it’s from years of being sedentary. I am just unsure where to start but I am
    so excited!

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  2 года назад +8

      First of let me say congratulations because you're killing it Amanda! I'm a personal trainer and I know how hard it is for most people to lose 10 pounds let alone 60! You should be very proud of that. I like where you're going with the resistance bands, squats and stair stepper. The stepper will help you tone your legs a little but no where near as much as lunges and squats so keep those front and center. You can also do some Bulgarian Split Squats which will be helpful even without dumbbells. You're truly killing it and way ahead of a of people in 6 months so be encouraged and keep up the good work!

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  2 года назад +4

      Here's a workout video I created that may be helpful in giving you some ideas about how to burn some more calories and work some additional body parts with that stepper. The stepper is good. The Sunny Health and Fitness Squat Assist Row-N-Ride is better for burning calories and toning the legs.

    How high can you adjust the height of the stepping motion?
    How can you get your heart rate high enough for HIIT with this machine?
    Maybe I am missing something but it looks less intense than simple bodyweight squats.

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  Год назад

      It's definitely less intense then doing squats but I'm not trying to squat for 20 to 30 straight minutes. When I do a HIIT workout with it I'm getting on and off incorporating several different exercises including exercises like squats. It's just a tool like a dumbbell or Olympic bar to be used along with my other gym equipment. The max height is less then a foot.

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  6 месяцев назад +1

      First congrats on losing 35 lbs! That's fantastic! Now as far as the machine goes that minute restriction comes from the company concerning the longevity of the machine. You can definitely use it longer then 15 minutes but it may burn out quicker. The motion of this stepper is different then the one at the gym and I suspect the muscles in your feet needed time to acclimate to the new exercise but that's just a guess.

    Good morning man I just got my stepper and I have no idea what I'm doing I don't feel anything are you supposed to turn it to the right to increase the height or the left because you turn it all the way to the left it loosens it hey I don't know what's going on man I'm trying to get it right for some reason the steps on mine won't go any higher

    • @UsawaFitness
      @UsawaFitness  2 года назад +2

      Ok so I don't really like to use it at the highest seeing. It's not going to feel like a escalator style stepper. We usually set it at a lower setting and then speed step. So more low then high and after that I use it as part of a workout. I'll spend up to 20 minutes on it if I can't get outside and turn often as part of that circuit. I'll have the video up this week so you can see what I mean on that end.
