I had no idea that Big and Ken were supposed be the same character! But it makes sense now why you guys were always together! And they were perfect opposites, Big was so loyal and died loyal while Ken was not loyal and only looking out for himself and died in more gruesomely! You and Nodt had such great chemistry that I was hoping BOC would make a BL series for you two! KinnPorsche will always be iconic and it wouldn't have been the same without all the amazing side characters including Ken!!!
Yeah I think it would be fun and challenging for Perth to do a BL with a different person other than Talay. I mean I know some fans ship him and Talay but Perth has said that they are just really good friends in real life. Unlike a lot of BL shipped couples that are massively popular right now who are locked into their paired couples and can't couple with anyone else, Perth was able to somehow evade this for the most part. This imo will allow him to get a wider variety of roles, since he can act with anyone as he doesn't currently have a set ship. I'd love for him to get a starring role in a BL for once and see if he can improve his acting skills and get an even greater sense of fulfillment!

KinnPorsche was literally the very first BL that I got emotionally attached to. Obviously I hated some characters more than others (Ken was one of them), but everyone played a part of making this series what it is. Truthfully, KinnPorsche did not look like my cup of tea in the beginning. I didn’t know about the cast change and the whole issue surrounding that since I didn’t watch BL until more later. I decided to give a chance because you and Tong were the ones that grabbed my attention since you were the only ones I knew from previous series. I didn’t know how emotionally attached I would get to this cast. I found Jeff this way, and I started following Barcode’s journey. Though just seeing the strong friendship you all made with each other was just so beautiful to see. Everyone was so in sync, just so connected. While there were events that took place that you all didn’t deserve to go through, you all thrived together. I don’t regret watching this series, it let me to you all. The KP era was just a time that you had to witness in real time to understand one felt just seeing all of you have the time of your lives. To this day, I cry every time I hear WDYS and reminisce on the memories associated with that song because it was just an amazing experience that I got to watch as a BL fan. It changed my and many other peoples’ lives, and we thank you all so much for that. ❤️
Obviously as an English speaker watching Thai shows, I have no problem with needing to rely on subtitles to understand people, but whenever you came on screen and said something snarky in English it made me so happy lol
I love your backstory for Ken! I always felt like Ken needed a bit of backstory to understand better why he would betray the main family like that and I think we should agree now that your interpretation of it is canon, because it makes so much sense and, honestly, who could have more insight into Ken's life than you? I'm very happy you had such a blast with this series and the tour, I don't think I've seen a cast as awesome as the one from "Kinnporsche", you were all something special.

Went back to watch your "Goodbye" scene. That was seriously gruesome and intense. You definitely did a excellent job of "exiting" 👏🏼 I am sure, originally, because that part was so awful, I skipped over the majority of it. I was there more for the romance than anything else. I will say KinnPorsche definitely did an excellent job of portraying Boys in Love. I was really glad that you got a chance to be a part of that series. I also remember absolutely loving your stand-off-ish, quiet character in My Engineer. I had loved your character in My Engineer so much that I had really hoped they would do a spin off and give your two characters their own BL romance.

I just missed the live stream! But it was fun to watch afterwards too. Ken's severed head is probably one of the most memorable scenes out of KP-I won't say _the most_ because, you know, um, but it definitely left an impression 😂
I've followed you since 'My Engineer' and have always been impressed with your natural acting and love your personality as well. Now, spoiler, I am old enough to be your Mother, so I occasionally get fussy like one. You look drastically thinner now then during KP, so I'm a little worried about you and hope you are taking good care of yourself and your health. I really enjoyed these look-backs of your BL's and the related content, also your cooking episodes. I am proud of your work and your talents and wish you continued success in the future.
When you said "so one thing I did in my personal life, though I'm not a method actor....." I really thought you'd say you started trying to be mean to people 🤣🤣🤣 No but, I always think the hardest roles to get right are actors who naturally radiate super kind, positive vibes (so, 100% Perth 🌞) trying to portray cruel, vindictive, bitter people. Like it often reads as if the character doesn't want to be mean or is conflicted, and I get confused about how the story is trying to get the audience to interpret their words/actions. But Perth I think you did SUCH an excellent job at that, I was very impressed at how believable and un-Perth-like Ken's cruel moments were! You fully convinced me he had a whole mountain of issues and bitterness bubbling under the surface, which is important so that his betrayal is a satisfying reveal that makes sense when you look back on how he'd been acting all along, rather than being a jarring plot twist that feels randomly chosen for maximum surprise. Sounds like all the effort you put in to developing Ken's inner life was worth it! Also helped the differences you mentioned between Ken and Big really come through, similar on the surface and both were cruel towards Porsche, but you could tell that their underlying motivations and emotions were totally different. I'm impressed that was just something you (and Nodt) developed on your own, your dedication really paid off there I think! (one example of what I mean about sunshine-y actors not being convincingly bitter is Jonathan Groff in A New Brain, love him but his character arc from bitter/self-centered to seeing the good in things and opening himself to love, wasn't as meaningful of a transformation bc Groff's inherently positive aura shined through the entire show, even when they are trying to establish what a completely jaded asshole his character is. So, it didn't seem like experiencing joy or being nice to people would be anything new for him, making the core event of the story (getting A New Brain) pointless. Meanwhile, I was definitely convinced Ken was in desperate need of some kind of life-affirming, near-death, hallucinatory, brain-injuring experiences to get over himself and learn how to feel a single healthy positive emotion.) Wow, don't know why I just wrote so much... if anyone read all this, I appreciate you

I finished KinnPorsche seven months ago in March, so I'm here about two years later, and I still love the series so much! The characters felt like real people as they navigated their society and problems. (I'm also writing a paper for school about the series ;P) Ken was charming, and to me, it was believable that not everyone would be loyal to their employer - their motives might not be explicitly told to us, and that's okay. Ken had his reasons, as you said. I'm so glad that you still have such wonderful memories of your time with the series two years later and you're still such good friends with the Be on Cloud folks. ^^
I watched CP and KP around the same time. I was watching CP first and Perth’s character was my fav, as you stole every scene. Than I started watching KP and I was like wait isn’t that…I will always remember “loser”. And the head scene ahhhhhhh! KP jumpstarted careers and I am forever grateful I decided to watch KP. It remains as one of my top BL even after 2 years and I have re-watched it many times. How many series can boast that one of the couple of the series have now become President and CEO of their own company 2 years later?

Im a man and kinnporchse got me for the story at first The romance etc was cool but what initially pulled me in was " oh shit guns bombs car chases and bullets and martial arts and mafia story? you got me! My fav character was kinn older brother the happy one that was called crazy lol he irl would likely be the best one to be with lol watch tv shows with him everyday and then convince him to go do random fun shit all the time. Best best friend/boss ever lol. Second favorite was Pete. He made me hate Vegas the way that mean mistreated abused and tortured pete that to me is unforgivable. I don't think he deserves pete as a lover or a friend he hurt him too much

It might also be because Perth grew up in Australia where the intense 'shipping' of actors is definitely NOT a thing- actors act with a variety of people and aren't locked to a specific couple. As a westerner- the crazy shippers was eye opening when first getting into BL series from Thailand... some of those folks need to chill!!
The funny thing is that I bonded with my best friend because of KinnPorsche It was also the second BL drama I watched with Love In The Air being the first and It has since remained one of my favorites. I have probably watched the whole thing probably 3 times and still love it so much! Ken's death tho always makes my stomach hurt as if I'm the one getting stabbed and it's weird. Also, my pet peeve is when ppl say that Vegas doesn't love Pete and that he's just abusive. Ya'll are freaking wrong!
I was so disappointed that I couldn't watch the K/P series on RUclips (like so many other BLs in the past), so I'm hoping that someday that will all change, and I'll finally get to see the series that has set the standards of BL very high.

About the global reach of Kinnporsche - I think it's definitely one of the most well-known BLs in the west. Like people who don't really watch BL sometimes have seen it.
You were lucky to take part in the project, you all did a great job, and kinnporsche is still unbeatable in my bl\drama list. I olso watched the other shows you took part in and you always did a great job, i always liked your characters, i think youre very talented and i love the fact that you can speak so many difficult languages and that we can interact with you trough youtube. Went back to watch your "Goodbye" scene. That was seriously gruesome and intense. You definitely did a excellent job of "exiting" 👏🏼 I am sure, originally, because that part was so awful, I skipped over the majority of it. I was there more for the romance than anything else. I will say KinnPorsche definitely did an excellent job of portraying Boys in Love. I was really glad that you got a chance to be a part of that series. I also remember absolutely loving your stand-off-ish, quiet character in My Engineer. I had loved your character in My Engineer so much that I had really hoped they would do a spin off and give your two characters their own BL romance.

You look drastically thinner now then during KP, so I'm a little worried about you and hope you are taking good care of yourself and your health. I watched Kinnporche when it aired just because you were in it, and ended up being my favorite Thai BL. Such a crazy successful show!
When you said "so one thing I did in my personal life, though I'm not a method actor....." I really thought you'd say you started trying to be mean to people 🤣🤣🤣 No but, I always think the hardest roles to get right are actors who naturally radiate super kind, positive vibes (so, 100% Perth 🌞) trying to portray cruel, vindictive, bitter people. Like it often reads as if the character doesn't want to be mean or is conflicted, and I get confused about how the story is trying to get the audience to interpret their words/actions. But Perth I think you did SUCH an excellent job at that, I was very impressed at how believable and un-Perth-like Ken's cruel moments were! You fully convinced me he had a whole mountain of issues and bitterness bubbling under the surface, which is important so that his betrayal is a satisfying reveal that makes sense when you look back on how he'd been acting all along, rather than being a jarring plot twist that feels randomly chosen for maximum surprise.
Sounds like all the effort you put in to developing Ken's inner life was worth it! Also helped the differences you mentioned between Ken and Big really come through, similar on the surface and both were cruel towards Porsche, but you could tell that their underlying motivations and emotions were totally different. I'm impressed that was just something you (and Nodt) developed on your own, your dedication really paid off there I think!
(one example of what I mean about sunshine-y actors not being convincingly bitter is Jonathan Groff in A New Brain, love him but his character arc from bitter/self-centered to seeing the good in things and opening himself to love, wasn't as meaningful of a transformation bc Groff's inherently positive aura shined through the entire show, even when they are trying to establish what a completely jaded asshole his character is. So, it didn't seem like experiencing joy or being nice to people would be anything new for him, making the core event of the story (getting A New Brain) pointless. Meanwhile, I was definitely convinced Ken was in desperate need of some kind of life-affirming, near-death, hallucinatory, brain-injuring experiences to get over himself and learn how to feel a single healthy positive emotion.)

I finished KinnPorsche seven months ago in March, so I'm here about two years later, and I still love the series so much! The characters felt like real people as they navigated their society and problems. (I'm also writing a paper for school about the series ;P) Ken was charming, and to me, it was believable that not everyone would be loyal to their employer - their motives might not be explicitly told to us, and that's okay. Ken had his reasons, as you said. I'm so glad that you still have such wonderful memories of your time with the series two years later and you're still such good friends with the Be on Cloud folks. ^^
I watched you on CP first but followed you cos of KP and was rooting for you throughout KP.

I watched CP and KP around the same time. I was watching CP first and Perth’s character was my fav, as you stole every scene. Than I started watching KP and I was like wait isn’t that…I will always remember “loser”. And the head scene ahhhhhhh! KP jumpstarted careers and I am forever grateful I decided to watch KP. It remains as one of my top BL even after 2 years and I have re-watched it many times. How many series can boast that one of the couple of the series have now become President and CEO of their own company 2 years later?
I watched KinnPorsche about two months ago. Now it's one of my fav series.

Im a man and kinnporchse got me for the story at first The romance etc was cool but what initially pulled me in was " oh shit guns bombs car chases and bullets and martial arts and mafia story? you got me! My fav character was kinn older brother the happy one that was called crazy lol he irl would likely be the best one to be with lol watch tv shows with him everyday and then convince him to go do random fun shit all the time. Best best friend/boss ever lol. Second favorite was Pete. He made me hate Vegas the way that mean mistreated abused and tortured pete that to me is unforgivable. I don't think he deserves pete as a lover or a friend he hurt him too much

I think it would be fun and challenging for Perth to do a BL with a different person other than Talay! I mean I know some fans ship him and Talay but Perth has said that they are just really good friends in real life. Unlike a lot of BL shipped couples that are massively popular right now who are locked into their paired couples and can't couple with anyone else, Perth was able to somehow evade this for the most part. This imo will allow him to get a wider variety of roles, since he can act with anyone as he doesn't currently have a set ship. I'd love for him to get a starring role in a BL for once and see if he can improve his acting skills and get an even greater sense of fulfillment!
It might also be because Perth grew up in Australia where the intense 'shipping' of actors is definitely NOT a thing- actors act with a variety of people and aren't locked to a specific couple. As a westerner- the crazy shippers was eye opening when first getting into BL series from Thailand... some of those folks need to chill!!

The funny thing is that I bonded with my best friend because of KinnPorsche It was also the second BL drama I watched with Love In The Air being the first and It has since remained one of my favorites. I have probably watched the whole thing probably 3 times and still love it so much! Ken's death tho always makes my stomach hurt as if I'm the one getting stabbed and it's weird. Also, my pet peeve is when ppl say that Vegas doesn't love Pete and that he's just abusive. Ya'll are freaking wrong!
I was so disappointed that I couldn't watch the K/P series on RUclips (like so many other BLs in the past), so I'm hoping that someday that will all change, and I'll finally get to see the series that has set the standards of BL very high.
