femphobia does exist in the gay male community, however the lack of attraction towards femininity isn't misogyny, it's just being very gay lol. gay men also have a valid fear of being associated with femininity as this is something their homophobic bullies often used as an insult against them, resulting in internalized or eternaized femphobia.
however, much more relative to the prompt of this video is the attitudes of mostly hetero women who consume bl. these femphobic comments were I'm 99% sure from a hetero-attracted woman, who fetishizes gay men and loves to see the fantasy of a fictional gay relationship, while actually being homophobic, hence the femphobia. she wouldn’t be this critical of gay men presenting feminine if she wasn't harboring misguided heterosexual attraction towards these gay men, which is the cause for the cognitive dissonance. homophobic women like her fetishize men being intimate while only using gay couples for their gross m*sturbatory fantasies and hoping or pretending they are straight irl so they wouldn’t feel as guilty/ dumb having their delusional hetero-enforcing self-insert/ gf stan fantasies about them as well. that’s difficult though when they and everyone else can see these men present as visibly gay so they have no plausible deniability of that fact.
it's completely normal to not be into feminine men as a straight woman, but why thrist after gay twinks to begin with? that’s why although I like a lot of bl/gl media, I can't stand the hetero fujoshis who end up tainting everything with their nasty hetero entitlement. if they don't want their crushes to turn out to be gay, maybe not fangirl over men who make near exclusively gay media since obviously there's a lot bigger chance of them being gay lol.
that's what I can't stand, they still treat gay people as a heterosexual fetish, an illusionary fictional fantasy to get off on, but they have no respect towards actual gay men or their relationships. the disassociation is crazy because they literally 'ship' all these men together yet hope they are masc straight men at the end of the day.
so in this instance, it's not even about femphobia itself, it's about entitled heteros harassing gay men they fetishize because they are actually gay and will never even theoretically reciprocate their romantic feelings, making them lash out in spite. I have noticed that in kpop too, which is an even more homophobic industry. A few idols have very obviously implied they're gay only for their desperate gf stans to immediately try and hide/deny it so they can remain in their heteropresumptuous fantasy world.
it's truly a plague, all these straight women fetishizing gay men and then have the audacity of negating and policing their sexuality and relationships. like over 90% of people are opposite-sex attracted, they have the privilege of a 9 times bigger dating pool.. these fruit flies need to leave us gay people be without projecting your heteronormative ideals an unwanted hetero attraction onto us.

Tu comentario es muy interesante, me encanta. Gracias :) :).

9:03 BTS Jimin is a good example of this. Ever since I remember he always got hate due to internalized misogyny (and homophobia) with people constantly questioning his sexuality. Shipping is such a huge part of Kpop, and I don't think it's a coincidence that the OP in your video talked about Nenew in relation to the ship he is in, implying that since Nunew is like a 'woman', it doesn't feel like a gay ship for them, as if masculinity is the only way gay people should present with. Similarly, Jimin has always been attacked for his gentle ways and for "being in the way" of another ship (taekook) because the 2 people of that ship are perceived as more masculine by people.

My husband and I have been together for fifty years, married for ten. He is one of the most manly men anyone could meet, a former athlete, I have always been feminine so we compliment each other perfectly. A great many gay men have a strong feminine side, others like my husband don't. There aren't any rules saying what gender characteristics gay couples must possess for theirs to be considered a valid gay relationship, but I have observed that a great many couples tend to have one partner who is feminine and the other who isn't, and that often corresponds to their sexual preference as well.
Gay men aren't socialised to be gay, our parents bring us up in the expectation we will be straight so we have to learn who we are and that can take us longer than for straight kids. As for NuNew, those of us who've followed his career have seen him grow up before our eyes these past three years. The shy, sweet, university student who was chosen (apparently by Zee) to be his co-star in Cutie Pie had blossomed into a beautiful, talented, confident young man who has already outpaced many of the more established BL stars we have followed for years, and that has provoked jealousy and anger among fans of those stars that those stars themselves don't feel.
The pairing of NuNew with Zee has worked exceptionally well for them both, the archetypal beautiful, elegant, man with a lovely, younger, softer, more feminine boy is what many gay men seek in their relationships so I have to wonder how many of the hyper-enthusiastic BL fans know anything about gay life? Are too many of the predominantly female fans wishing that they were NuNew when Zee embraces him or their bodies intertwine on stage? Are the fans of other stars angry that NuNew is getting so much international attention and success beyond his primary region of Asia, and taking it away from their favourites? If so aren't they just to involved in what, after all, is entertainment and not real life? I cross-dressed for years when it suited me to do so, at other times, as NuNew himself said, I preferred to present as as a serious person (I'm a historian) or in a more boyish fashion because that made life easier in a then very homophobic culture.
Let these young stars be who they want to be in their private lives, who they are on stage or on film is a matter for the writers, the casting director, the costumier, and the sort of production they are appearing in, and for the actors themselves. We don't own them, and neither should we claim proprietary rights over them or attack them when they don't live up to the expectations we seek to impose on them.

They may not get on with their other peers and fall out yet they are in the same company. How must that feel. Or if they had a relationship with other people in the company also how can they face each other.
It is all money making, but if they find love and support good on them. It's a shame some of them cannot come out due to media pressure. So please ,please leave them to enjoy their relationships outside their work and let them live their lives.

@@dasfröhlein I loved DNA says love you! Absolutely excellent. So fun, so campy, so qu33r and such a good plot!
But, the character is inters3x, not trans. He doesn't say 'actually I identify as a man and that's why I transitioned'. If I remember correctly, he said 'it was found that I'm actually physically male, the doctors made a mistake, and that's why I disappeared out of everyone's life all of a sudden, my parents took me to a new social environment to put me into a male gender role.' I don't actually think he gave us an opinion on what his gender was. He just kinda rolled with being a girl and then rolled with being a guy.
I guess he technically transitioned from a female gender role in childhood to a male gender role in teenagehood, but idk I don't relate to how that went down, or his feelings about it, at all. I think inters3x viewers might relate to all the medical hullabaloo he was put through and the shame that was instilled in him, but I'm not inters3x so idk. Inters3x people can identify as trans of course, but not all do, and I didn't get the sense that this character does.
Inters3x rep is even rarer than transmasc rep, so yeah, I'd for sure want to give this one to that community.
The BL 'Marahuyo Project' has an inters3x subplot, and a trans girl who isn't the but of the joke and gets an actual story arc. And the lead is very femme, and defiant about it. I highly, highly recommend that one.
For a transmasc leading character, you can watch Saneha Kap Cheewit, based on true Thai qu33r lives, and those people actually had a say in how it represented them. It has a BL as3xual secondary couple.

Absolutely! I have said much the same in groups supporting NuNew as you have said here. As a gay man who has always been feminine, from a small boy until now, I have experienced the prejudice against femme gay men both from other gay men and from straight men too. What NuNew's critics tend to ignore is that as an actor, singer, and a very effective stage performer, that also applies to PP, Earth, Gun and many others too, they are acting, performing when on stage, onstage is not real life, it's a show. Your comments about how they appear on stage are exactly right, musical theatre, which is what NuNew's concerts are, is an exaggerated, glamorous, art form, I have close contact with that world so I wholeheartedly agree with you. And you are right too when you say that there's a very good reason why so many more established artistes want to work with him, he has transcended the BL genre that made him famous and now has global reach in a way that few other Thai artistes do. He's the hot young man on the music scene currently, not unlike his Venezuelan counterpart the actor and singer Omar Rudberg, another young actor who has a strong feminine side but can be the cute boy as well when he feels like it.
We have seen NuNew grow up in public from the shy boy he was three years ago to a young man newly comfortable in his own skin, with his sexuality, with how he expresses his gender identity, and with his clearly significant talent. The future seems bright for him, and he deserves it to be. Most gay young men play around with how they express their gender identity, NuNew's still very young and he's seems to be happy to experiment. He's lucky to have a close friend/partner in Zee, a veteran of the BL game, who can walk with him, support him and guide him, and so is that other heavily criticised star CooHeart, Earth, who has a close friend in Santa. As you rightly say, PP Krit did not invent the femme persona, I was doing much the same fifty years ago and so were gay men fifty years before that, Little Richard anyone?

Honestly putting flamboyancy and femininity as a concept rather than just someone's preferred way of living is just so invalidating to the queer community. There should be no unspoken quota on the total of femme presenting men in any industry, but especially in the BL industry. This is why I appreciate queer media like diary of tootsies that presents flamboyant queer men in a positive light. BL industry needs to cast more femme presenting actors like Cooheart and Fluke - change needs to start somewhere. And you are so right, the root of the issue is misogyny which has caused a lot of issues in BLs, femme-phobic casting being just one of them.

Feminine Thai BL actors have actually helped me in my own gender journey in how I allow myself to use expression. These guys saved me from a lot of years of repression lmao
I also wanna say that I am really happy that more queer people are becoming openly and actively involved in BL and now GL bc we are seeing more feminine men on screen, we had a nonbinary/transfem character, and now we're getting a series about a time traveling Kathoey identified person, even! I really want trans and nonbinary led stories but baby steps I guess haha
Sadly I don't enjoy a lot of Thai GL, despite being afab and my own queer journey being primarily sapphic until lately, because it's still in the "lipstick lesbian red flags" infancy 😂
I'd really love to see a stud or tomboy date a trans woman in a GL. Like please!
Also, (last wish I swear 😂) I'd really love a story where its explained that gender and gender expression do not equal sexual orientation. Supanut is Kathoey and is bi, par example. Jeff Satur thinks gender is fake and we should only use biological sex for medical reasons, and fluctuates between hyper femme and pretty fboy "Daddy" but also thibks gender is fake in love and sex lmao The most macho dudebro gym shark I knew in college also likes floral granny gowns and is attracted to any gender 🤷🏻‍♀️ (and my friends that most people view as hypersexed in how they talk and act are actually completely asexual 😅)
P.S:: I'm also happy No Eul got a mention considering how ge seems to go through periods of time in his aesthetic where he's either more femme or masc or somewhere in between. I personally love seeing him sport pears and sparkles and long nails and lip gloss, but if he suddenly just wanted to be boyband jock for the rest of his life I'd still fund him funny and charismatic 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi, thank you very much for the amazing and insightful video. I was unaware of the brouhaha these wonderful and talented young men were dealing with. I struggle with the fact that, apparently, so many fans do not get the very real truth that the fan Does Not Own The Person of PP, NuNew, Cooheart, or Bank. Wonder how they would like it if their lives had no boundaries or privacy and anyone could say or do anything to them. I wonder how these toxic fans would react to having their privacy and life ripped to shreds with lies & outrageous opinions. And the fact that Bank is struggling as well as NuNew and you also just breaks my heart. I also struggle with mental health issues and it can be even more challenging when it is ignored or not respected. Much love 💞💕💖❣

Another prominent issue I also notice in the BL community is the covert homophobic. A lot of BL fans are homophobic they are cool with ship culture but refuse to even consider that their idol may be gay. Another issue is some bl fans tend to behave like bisexual men also exist just because some bl actors dated girls before, but it doesn't mean they can't fall in love with a guy. Alot consume bl content every day but learn nothing from the movies and series they watch. Also what's up with some bl fans trying to dictate who's apart of the LGBTQIA+ community based on how the "look" I see some saying that a bl actor can't be gay be cause he us a " gym guy"

As a Thai i don’t see all this femme-phobia in the actual fan community at all. In contrary in recent years the more femme the more popular they get. And if you know the language you can see that fans all use feminine phrases and words with their favs. Yes their is still homophobia problem woven in the community from the gay-for-pay actors. But i can tell you right now Thai society is one if not the most pro gay femme you can find on earth.

I never understood why some people have the need to judge others just for being themselves. If a man feels like wearing feminine clothes, feeling feminine, then what right do we have to criticize him? It doesn't hurt us, it doesn't make him less of a human being.
BL actors already got enough on their plates with crazy fans inflicting their shipping fantasies upon them, no need to add more struggle.

Thank you... Very well said! Like you said, they obviously did not follow any of the actors as this is not a new all of a sudden tranformation... Nunew has been working up to it slowly to find himself so to speak same as Bank. I don't see them as coping anyone though they are wearing the femine styled clothing they are different styles from one another, tailored to each persons own style. Personally I am so happy to see them feeling more comfortable to be able to express more of them self. I am not part of the Queer community I am a 60year old white female grandma and feel that everyone has the right to represent them selves they way they want to be. As long as they are not harming anyone else or themselves let them be. If you do not like someones style just move on. When it came to Nunew, and what he wore at the concert I thought he pulled off everything very tastefully. He made that Pink cape prom like dress over the white suit look absolutely stunning. I don't know how he does it, but where that is so obviously a feminine cut/style he made it look both feminine and masculine at that same time. That was one of my favorites from the concert that and the Pink backless one worn with the white jacket at first and the white pants he just killed me with those I don't think a female body could have done that outfit the justice that Nunew did. Both of those were made for Nunew! Ok, done rambling!

And for us non-Thai readers we appreciate you going the extra mile to clarify and back up the information. Also, everything that is considered Feminine in this day and age was at one time the thing that showed men were high-class manly men. From nail polish, high heels, corset, lace and makeup. You just need to look at history to see that this is true and trends morph and come back around doesn't matter if is it from the dawn of time, someone likes it and makes it their thing, and others like it and can change it up to make it their own. Once again thank for clarifying thing and spreading love and acceptance!

The lack of respect you get for choosing to present femininely, the way your identity gets questioned at every turn (you’re not a real man/real woman because xyz) and the struggles of being visibly queer (especially for trans women who don’t ‘pass’).

Finally a video essay about this topic. Thank you so much for talking about this!!!!! I also think that people like to put feminine people againts each other because they think there should be a "queen". It's like the comparison between female popstars for me, it's just nonsense. Yesterday it was discovered that more internet trolls were pretending to be NuNew or PP's fans just to create drama, and the insults between both fandoms went to the point of bodyshaming both artists. It's heartbreaking to see this because, as a fan of NuNew, I've seen many inteviews where he says he doesn't like to create burden. It's even surprising that he spoke up about that viral tweet because he usually doesn't defend himself when he's being attacked. PP Kritt also seems like a kind and nice guy too, I've never seen something bad about him. I feel bad for them both because there's nothing they can do to stop this. It's not their fault 😭😭😭

I really think fans need to learn how to tell when a tweet is insincere is coming from a troll. I knew within second that tweet wasn’t legit, but it had already blown up. People had already given it wait and we’re already quoting it. Being a fan of both of these actors is hard sometimes lol trying to explain to each fandom that the other one is not their enemy. Being "Femme" is not liked because it turns "a man" (aka "stronger", "superior"......) into a kind of "woman" (aka "weaker", "less deserving of respect", in a word "yucky"). I mean "femme" comes from the French word for woman...

Honestly, I was quite sad when this issue blowed up coz' NuNew and PP were senior and junior in the same University (KU). I remembered there was someone who shared on X a long time ago that when NuNew was little he was bullied by boys for being too soft (both his physical appearance and personality) and they don't want to play with him resulting him to play with girls instead. (OP was NN's playmate on their old neighborhood if I remember correctly) Even in University you can see that most of his friends are girls. Thus, I believe that this can be one of the reason why he has this soft kinda feminine personality. I can't share anything on the other actors coz' I'm not familiar with them and please correct me if any of the above info is wrong coz' OP was thai and I 'm not. 😅🙏🏻

People have so much time and hatred on their hands that they have to start fanwars just to get any enjoyment out of life. It's stupid and sad, but I don't feel bad for those people. I like a lot of Thai actors and I really like the 3 in question. I've honestly never seen PP Krit in anything yet (I've had I Told Sunset About You and I Promised You the Moon on my watch list for years lol), but I enjoy his music and his "fem" outfits. He looks amazing in those clothes as do Nunew, Bank, and Earth. I love seeing Earth's Insta posts cuz he's always rocking some cute clothes that I WISH I could wear myself and I've been enjoying stills and clips from Nunew's concerts recently. Bank is a bit more subtle with his outfits from what I've seen, but he looks amazing as well. I want to include Gun Attaphan (as in OffGun) on this list cuz he's been showing off a more "fem" vibe in his Insta posts for the past year or so and I can't explain it, but it just makes me really happy. I love seeing all these guys dress like this and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'm weirdly attracted to it just as much as I'm attracted to "manly" guys, girly girls, and boyish girls. For someone to have such an issue with guys dressing in stereotypically women's clothes that they go on a rampage on twitter about it, it blows my mind. Like, go touch some grass. It might make you feel better geezez. Smh.

As Michelle Obama says, when they go low, we go high and that’s what NuNew, Bank and PP has done. We only get one life to live and we must be true to ourselves, be sensitive, be strong, be whatever the heck you want to be as long as you aren’t hurting yourself or others. Why are people concerned about what these men do with their looks and their way of expressing themselves?
I can only feel proud and happy for them when they have the confidence to show themselves as they are, may it be through getting tattoos, through wearing skirts, through wearing sports' shirts or through putting glitter on their face. The part where you mentioned how BL fans only like 2 masc guys together is so true. I can't remember if you said this, but they either like 2 masc guys or 1 masc and 1 femme together. I hate how the bl community is so femmephobic and also homonormative at the same time.
I remember I saw a post about Earth and Fluke together, and I commented how I would love to see them play a couple, and someone replied how they don't match. I asked them how knowing exactly what they were referring to. They just claimed how they didn't want to elaborate bc they would hurt my feelings 😅
But yes. It's a mess, and I hate seeing so much bigotry, especially in the bl community, but to be completely honest, I don't think the bl community is full of open minded ppl bc there are a lot of homophobic/fetishizers here unfortunately. ❤

I think a lot of femme-phobia has to do with self insecurity. I used to be phobic about feminine boys growing up, specially in my teens and early adulthood. Probably from the fear of being persived as 'gay' more easierly. 'You start being friendly with a feminine gay guy and people might start to wonder if you're gay yourself' -that was my way of thinking. I was terrified.
Nowadays i LOVE feminine men. They're my favorite kind of men. They're BY FAR the most special of men. They're bright and beautiful. Their existence makes the world better.

I know it’s not only in the queer community, but I love when we can show the different parts of ourselves whether that be femme or masculine or any combination. As queer people we really need to support each other and not put each other into boxes. We need to practice love and acceptance - freedom of expression is the best - not imposing expectations.

I've noticed this issue since the Sotus era. I was watching Thai shows and I was already a fan of it before BLs. I watched GMMTV shows for same reason but then I saw Sotus the series. It was the first time that I was exposed to BLs and the queer community. I thought I was straight at that time. I was fairly surprised by the idea of queerness. I made lots of researches about LGBTQ+. It intrigued me cause I live in a country where queers are criminalized. It was a new concept to me but I was still impressed by the community's premise about the fluidity of expressionism in one's sexuality and gender identity. They were very accepting of everyone (something I always have admired). I watched more BLs with a open mind. I was in BL fandoms on twitter as well, I've seen many tweets targeting feminine men. I thought it was strange because I thought the queer community was supposed to be accepting. As a female, I was also disappointed the misogyny of BL fans who are women. I realized they are BL fans not necessarily queers. That's why I gave the benefit of doubt to the queer community. Years later, I got into GLs and sapphic shows. I discovered that I was a bisexual not straight. I saw the butchphobia in the lesbian community. And I had internet friends who identified as bisexuals or lesbians. I saw their weird hatred for masc-presenting women. Jordie Seay is right. Sadly, it doesn't only happen in BL community but also gay male community. I saw the creepy youtube channel by older gay man who used to be effeminate in his younger days then became "masculine." He even started to support Trump and threw a hate at feminism. Even worse, there were many gay young boys agreed with him and had comments that were full of misogyny. It's really sad that queer youths are also being influenced by such ideas not only the outside of the community.

BRILLIANT🔥💥☄️💪🏽❣️. THANK YOU! A magnificent effort to stand up to the fearists in this world.
Studying this kind of ugliness has been at the center of my life for what, in 2 days, will be 3 yrs 9 months exactly. January 6, 2021.
The single ugliest day in American history. A mob trying to destroy American democracy. I wanted to reach the lowest common denominator to this insanity. You speak about so many of the same things I found.
Our first brick in this life is survival. All of us… every cell in our body is programmed to survive. The single common denominator.
What I see is that we are all born with the same survival strategy… “Faith in OUR survival”, together, through love & mutual respect. Not just mush on greeting cards. Love & mutual respect are the two best survival tools we use to face our fear. What got humanity to exist up to this very moment in time.
Why original? As infants we depend entirely on the OUR (others) to make it to the next day. Babies give unconditional love in return. With love and respectful treatment we stay mostly on this path. A contract that grows, to include the bigger world, unless taught otherwise. Unless treatment by others creates grief.
So how do some of us stray from this original path? To create the destruction we see around us. To me the clear answer to that is grief from childhood abandonment. Either our own or what is taught to us.
The comment, at the center of this video, is a clear example of a soul who was torn from our original survival strategy. Warped by the most destructive cult to ravage the world. The cult of toxic masculinity that breeds a particular forced hierarchy.
This starts when a cultist looks down at a boy child and tells him to “man up!” by being ashamed of his feelings. Exactly what you say here👏🏽👏🏼👏🏾👏🏻.
Our emotions are what connect us to the OUR. To cut them off forces a boy child, or any of us, to create survival tools alone, while drowning in grief, and with the unformed mind of a child. THAT is the core to all suffering. The core to self hatred. The core to all destruction.
So we know there are stages in grief. Bargaining, depression, denial, anger, and if we are lucky we reach acceptance.
What if a child gets stuck in one of these stages? Using it as the source of its identity.
I think most abandoned children turn grief inward and take all blame, for the abandonment, onto themselves (bargaining, depression, and denial). In an effort to stay within even a warped version of the OUR.
Love for others is our motive for accepting all blame. Also knowing that being outside the OUR leads to insanity. 😖Yet we get sold this insanity from nearly every social direction in the modern world now.
Turning grief inward we can choose to accept being bullied as deserved. Believing we are no hero so cannot step up for others being bullied. Depression, addiction, and other self harm rise up to deal with such an obvious lie.
That choice also makes us enablers to the bullies. Who are the bullies?
Those that grabbed onto the anger stage of grief. With both hands. The cult of toxic masculinity is a prime example.
The greatest fanatics are those who completely rejected the OUR, love, & mutual respect. The clinical narcissists, sociopaths, psychopaths, and fascists. They are a part of every subgroup of humanity but it is reality that there are more male narcissists than female. More in the LGBTQ community than in the general population but every culture, govt., and religion has them.
Those who outright attack us and the OUR. Seeing love, unless it’s directed at them, as a threat to the warped world they created with themselves at the center.
Trying to break us down with their forced hierarchies. Man to woman. Straight to LGBTQ+. This religion to that one. Rich to poor. City to rural life. Tall to short. Pretty to whatever they say is “ugly”. School educated to self educated and the list goes on. Twisting every aspect of humanity to feel safe by feeling “better than”. Because they lost the meaning of love and mutual respect.
And because most of us have been systematically abandoned we buy into their hierarchy. Willing to place ourselves within their hierarchy to stay within a warped version of the OUR. They teach us to chase their fear driven greed.
PP, NUNEW, Bank (and all the fem males we adore) are the bravest 🤬 human beings to walk this earth. WE gave and still give them the support to be who they are and that is strength that will crush the cult of toxic masculinity. That has already freed so many. LGBTQ+, cismen, boys, girls, and ciswomen from its strangle hold.
We will… we MUST dismantle it because it is at the core to the greed that has caused our global warming catastrophe. We all must see that anger, judgement, greed, and brutality are the ultimate in self destruction. “Faith in OUR survival” over “Fear of ME NOT surviving”.
Fearists/narcissists/fascists exchanged WE for ME. Believing “Only MY needs and opinions matter.”. Fascists believe “Only MY L*I*F*E matters.” This is where the insanity begins because without love and mutual respect the soul only has fear.
Fear as motive AND weapon. The sad Thai law prohibiting, anything said against the King, is to me a perfect example of fear in control.
A perfect example is the institutionalized fear that Putin has inflicted on his people for over 20 years. The Ukraine people have clearly chosen “Faith in OUR survival” and this courage has given them the chance to gain support from the world. Despite the astronomical forces that were against them. They fought their own fear with the courage that love and mutual respect give them. Zelensky epitomizes this Faith.
Ukrainians fight for each other. That gives them the freedom to throw away the box and create amazing ways to protect themselves against what Putin, having absolutely no conscience, throws at them. Brutal bloody attacks most of the world does not hear about. Fascists only know how to smash and grab. Fear is so limiting that it can only control for so long. The Ukraine people will not give up. It’s amazing!
Just like the incredible souls, you defend here, do every day. We all must look inside and measure our own greed and judgements. Greed that makes us blind to what we do to the animals, vegetables and minerals that have every right to share the world with us.
Thank you for this great effort to stand and defend life as it should be 🌟👏🏽👏🏼👏🏾👏🏻. Im sorry to hear about the emotional pain you are experiencing right now. Maybe look on it as growth and growth can be painful.
You are taking care of yourself, processing your grief, and I totally support you in your journey. So many of us are on this journey❤️‍🩹💪🏽💖. 🫂&💋 from a fan.

You presented it in a very clear timeline, and now I can understand the whole situation. I watch BL occasionally but have never been part of any fandom, so it’s quite interesting to see.
P.S. I just watched The Paradise of Thorns and it has reignited my interest in this genre, so I hope you will talk about it soon. The story highlights legal issues, and it seems like good timing since Thailand has just passed laws to legalize same-sex marriage, which will officially take effect soon.

If that person knew why they had to act masculine before they for sure wouldn't have tweeted that. Take P'Earth(Cooheart) for example, he acted masculine before so his cast and audience won't feel grossed out. When the fan base is fixed and it gets comfortable, the actors will get comfortable too. Its only natural to dress how they want to.

Another thoughtful video. My chief criticism would be inattention to the intersectionality of homophobia, sexism, and misogyny. It felt as if misogyny became the lowest-hanging fruit to unpack the issue and make the problem legible. But for me, especially to understand anti-femme attitudes from the inside of the community, a deeper understanding of the complicated ways that these different -isms interact would enhance the discussion.

What a well thought out video, thanks for addressing this problem in the BL community because I feel like its not talked about enough. I've seen femmephobia in real life from other queer people and it always confuses me. Do they not know the history? Without femme legendary icons from the past our community would be no where near it is now. We need to appreciate and celebrate different gender expression because it's a sign of progress.

It never ceases to amaze me how much hate (and in this case femmephobia and homophobia) there is among some in the BL community. This community should actually be aware, warm-hearted and supportive. Instead, I have the feeling that the actors are often objectified and fetishised.

That was the first time I came to know about this hate towards them I'm so glad that you made this video. It's very important because femboys receive a lot of hate from general public and not well accepted or represented well in media and entertainment industry. One thing that has always made me like Thai bls more than bls from other countries is how diverse it can get when casting and representing people from LGBTQ community these days.i hope to see more representation in a positive light so these haters can get lost

I hate that people think that only girl's can be fem because it doesn't matter what gender u can be fem or masc it doesn't matter at all. Its honestly got so bad now of days. It's everybody's choice on if they want to be fem or masc no matter the gender. If you don't like how someone is dressing or how they look then don't watch them its that easy. It's your own choice if you want to watch a concert. Please stop hating people on what they do it's not your choice its theirs if you don't like it then you don't have to that's your choice but don't make people feel bad about themselves just because you don't like how they present themselves.

If you go way back to when Nunew first started in the entertainment industry (not with Domundi), he presented with a masculine image. I don't know if those pictures are even able to be seen anymore but he was more heavy set/muscular looking. After joining Domundi several years ago, he talked about how during that early time he wasn't able to be himself and was unhappy and wanted to quit trying to enter show biz. Reading in between the lines, I believe the implied meaning is that Domundi didn't force Nunew to be something he wasn't and allowed Nunew to show the world an image closer to his truer self. Zee has also shared many times that his wish is that Nunew be free and not feel forced to do anything he doesn't want to do. I believe what Nunew is showing the world now is closer to his truer self than he has even been able to show in the past. For any celebrity, whatever that is, we should support them we are fans and if we are not fans, just remain quiet and let people live their lives the way they want to.
