@@dis.may1 It wasn't explicitly said, but if you rewatch Smiley's scene at 15:58 it's pretty obvious that it was the underlying message. Let's break it down: She meekly says the pagents are ok because "I do really like getting to know the other girls". The only moment where her eyes light up is when she's thinking about the other girls from the pagents. Only to be immediately depressed again when the subject changes. She also gets nervous/paranoid when lil sandwhich asks if she has friends from the pagents, which can be interpreted as, "what if she's onto my secret?" That's why she asks lil sandwhich what she's meaning. But, when she sees lil sandwhich was being straightforward and literally meant friends she goes "Oh, I guess I have made one or two friends there." She seems to have a disdain for the "first date series" with the boys she's set up with, and seems actually depressed about having to do them. Finally, Lil' sandwich said the boy for her next first date episode was cute and she said "Yeah, I guess..if you like that kind of thing."
My theory is that Smiley is gay and likes girls, there was some sort of tone when she said “getting to know the other girls” and also when Sarah said that the boy Smiley was going on a date with was cute she said “I guess…if you like that kind of thing”
Soo: Sasha is the eldest, she came up with the whole vlogging thing, bit than regretted it. She left her parents house four years ago, at 21, because they were not going to ever give them money. Three months later she gets interviewed about leaving, after her parents told their community that she was an addict and that's why they had to kick her out. And they told their other kids that Sasha was lost at sea. Sarah Grace, the youngest sister is a thirteen year old girl but has to pretend she is a six year old boy. She has to have a speech impediment and pretend to love Mario. Even though she would love to go see Olivia Rodrigo instead. Elisa called Silly Sandwich is chronically ill and her parents of course use that for the channel. She has to change her voice and do makeup to look more sick than she already does. She never knows if the test results she has to react too are real or not. Emily 23 plays Sunny Sandwich 16 does additing of the videos. She can't imagine her life being good without the channel because before that they lived in extreme poverty. She told Sarah Grace that they made a lot of money on the channel. That lead to her getting 'fired' from doing the accounting for the videos and handling the finances. She is really sad about that because it is the only time she gets to do any maths. After Sarah Grace told her that their mom said she made bad investments and that's why they were broke, which is not true, she decides to find out the truth. Ella called Skippy who does pranks. But she does over a hundred per year and feels bad for doing most of them. Also she is really affected by the people who she pranked hating her. Rebecca, called Smiley is 15 and she goes to beauty pageants which is why she can act her real age. She is actually homosexual but she has to do a series where she has first dates with boys who are also influencers. Kate, called Snazzy is the one who sings. She read the comments with Sarah Grace even though she wasn't allowed to. Even though she was hurt by some comments she also realized through that that the girls were exploited. This was a lot of work so I would appreciate a like 😊
As someone who doesn't have tiktok when Emily said "...okay" and started nodding I almost cried. She seemed like the most indoctrinated and when she snapped I was 🫢🤭
I wonder what sarah's hair would actually look like. like i understand this is a skit and caroline plays the characters as she envisions them, but i wonder if in universe sarah grace would have short hair to make her more easily recognizable as a little boy. i cannot imagine the body dysmorphia she would constantly have, not being able to express any sort of femineity or any of her real personality... if she even knows she has one. im really excited to see if the girls ever escape this, and what would come after. finding themselves, learning to do things on their own, learning how to even function in the real world. the fact that this sprouted from one satirical video about the concerns of fvc is so interesting to me. the writing is actually incredible and it all feels so well blended. even how the first video slots so perfectly in with the rest, its crazy to me. and i absolutely LOVE the idea that it was sasha's "idea" to turn their family into a show. she was, what, 9-10 maybe? THEY TOOK AN IDEA FROM AN INNOCENT CHILD AND EXPLOITED HER (and all the other girls) USING IT. AND the fact that it was sasha's idea, who then becomes the one to speak out and leave the family is just. so. good. UGH i might be over reacting but this is *chefs kiss* great quality content (i also like to think that this may inspire some real family vlog kids to see how abnormal this lifestyle is, and to speak out about it, but thats just wishful thinking)
What do you think the chances are that if the sisters confront the parents and want to leave like Sasha, that the mom will blame Sasha? "Sasha pushed for the family channel in the first place. She wanted this to happen. Do you really think that you can trust someone who wanted this to happen to you and then leave you cause she felt like it?" The GUTPUNCH that would be
My family is big there is five kids and my mother would never post us on social media. She didn't let me post on social media until I was 14 and she doesn't allow me to post my younger siblings and I thank her for that. I'm extremely glad I didn't get exposed to the Internet at a young age cuz it probably would have broke me. Ty mom.
No because my mom was kinda like this and she legitimately forgot my 12th birthday and when I brought it up, she told me "Oh, I thought it was the 18th" "No, mom, it's the 3rd.". Especially the older sister. My older sister was seen as the "failed child" so I had to be the "successful child". I'm almost in tears while watching this as the CPS case against my mother was just dropped. I'm so happy that this is being brought awareness to. This abusive parenting needs to be stopped.
I was never in a filming family but MY GOD the video between ‘Sunny and Lil Sandwich’ IS MY LIFE. OMG. why do the youngest ppl get all this gripe for just asking if things can get better? I WASNT THERE IN THE OLD DAYS. If it sucked then and it sucks now, why aren’t we bonding and teaming up? Like come on
Imagine you suffered for a long time as a child only for things to start getting better by the time you were an older teenager but then your family got too greedy and you watched it all start slowly killing all of you even though realistically, you guys were doing better than when you were younger. Then imagine someone who had no idea how horrible your childhood was asking you if you ever wanted that back. Wouldn't you feel angry, jealous, sad and helpless? Angry bc you never want to experience that terrible childhood again so the idea that someone thinks you should wish that part of your life to become reality again simply bc they hear you complain about small parts of your current lifestyle... Jealous bc you know they don't know what that kind of childhood was like... Sad bc you wish you could "have the silver spoon in your mouth" like they did... Helpless bc you know they weren't asking you that question out of malice, only ignorance, but unable to find a place to direct that anger you felt when they questioned you, leaving you to try your hardest not to lash out at them and sometimes failing?
Really appreciate you taking the time to compile all these in 1 place. The time, talent, and effert you pour into it is truly seen and loved! You've created a beautiful piece of art with this series. Hopefully, it will bring enough awareness to get things moving in the right direction for all the families like this. P.S. FYI I noticed that the episode of the babysitter talking to Sarah Grace about going to the park is missing. No biggie though
Oh my god the mother scares me so much, and the little broken "but that's the only time I get to do any math" ... oh, Emily. I am so sorry for all these girls. This series is amazing.
a while back, i hit a point where i felt like everything was out of my control. i kept wondering why other people seemed to get what they wanted while i was stuck in the same place. then i came across this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. i wasn’t expecting much, but the way it explains the connection between your energy and the life you create? it blew my mind. it’s not just a book, it’s like a blueprint for turning your life around.
It was the next video in the timeline but it wasn't right after. Sasha made the suggestion in 2010, the interview was in 2019 and everything else is present day.
just caught up and I’M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AHHHHHHH this channel and this series is one of the best things i’ve come across on RUclips recently. Taking your painful real life experiences from your life, and creating an engaging story through shortform content out of it with the goal of exposing the insidious nature of family channels is brilliant. I am absolutely buzzing with excitement for the conclusion- no rush though! take your time. These imaginary kids reflecting real life kids in the same situation deserve the happiest and most kick-ass ending possible. The mom is absolutely chilling by the way, and i get chills at “she’s always listening” every time I’ve watched it. Your acting is incredible, and it’s impressive how you’ve created such distinct characters acting every part yourself! Thank you for all the advocacy you do for children’s privacy and fighting child exploitation online. Cheers! ❤
“we’re gonna steal the truth.” DUDE WHATTT i am so invested in this series. i love how the kids went from being perfect little camera pets to reaching out to the truth about their lives. i want them to be free so badly. i want them all to learn about how they’ve been exploited by their own parents and how they have every right to live somewhere else, i want them to be safe and happy forever and offline for a bit :(((
Watching the Little Sandwich saga really reminds me of the old-school Hollywood Child Star stories. For example, Shirley Temple started acting at 3 in a short film series called "Baby Burlesks". (The series is a bunch of toddlers in diapers and lingerie acting like WWI soldiers and s workers. Shirley Temple trades kisses for lollipops.) When she was signed to Fox they made her one year younger, something she didn't learn until her 13th birthday. (Yay I'm 12, actually you're 13.) As she got older studio execs made her dresses shorter and shorter to keep that 'baby doll' look. Her iconic hairstyle required a weekly vinegar rinse that 'burned [her] eyes' and 56 pin curls. In her memoir she claims that an MGM producer with an "adventuresome casting couch" exposed himself to her upon their first meeting when she was 12. Children in media are only as safe as the laws protecting them- and for the ones online that means not at all.
Whenever these kids get brought up people start banging on about Coogan accounts. That's a mere 15 percent of gross pay, much of which is easily launderable and diminished by sizable non-cash assets. And if a family of 7 kids each gets 15 percent, someone is getting left out. The issue is exploitation on a scale history hasn't seen before. Not only being robbed of the products of their labor, but robbed of childhood, education, safety, free time, innocence, or even their own personality. Someday this series is gonna be shown in a congressional hearing and backed up by testimony, some of which has been sent directly to Easom from those affected. Thank you for speaking out and doing this series. It's one of those pieces of art you see and instantly realize how powerful it will become in the following decades and how much change it will effect.
Babysitter: “What’s your name?” Little Sandwich: “It’s Little Sandwich” Babysitter: “No, what’s your real name” Sarah……… Sarah Grace I LOVE that line!!! The first time i heard that line I was shook. ❤

So personal!! The thought and heart and real life you've put into this is conveyed in each and every video I see and it's so well done! There are some things that I relate to and even the things that I don't personally relate to feel so authentic and personal, my heart is even more so invested in this matter! Thank you for each and every video you have done for each one demonstrates intricacies of family abuse that is often not put on display for people to grasp! Thank you!
IS SMILEY GAY?! It’s the way she said “if your into that type of thing” is if she’s NOT and the lesbian daughter wouldn’t fit into their moms perfect little world?! THIS MAKES SO MUCH SENSE IN MY HEAD
If this is true, it would also explain why she sounded so panicked about being asked if she befriended other girls. Smiley and the other pageant girls are just Gals Being Pals ;)
watching all of these together made me truly appreciate this series much more than before. that last line from sunny gave me literal chills. i can't wait for the rest of this. i hope everything turns out ok for them.
This is GREAT Caroline, thank you for compiling the series into one place (That I know, thank God, for sure is actually uploaded by you) because there are so many annoying fake accounts trying to steal your content. ANYWAY, this series is pretty amazing and the depth you continue to provide is fantastic.
I saw one short about this series and I absolutely had to watch this. You did a phenomenal job at creating and acting out this story. I really liked it, and I hope it’s not over because that was a big cliffhanger😭. Good job!
thank you! I am now in tears and will be thinking about this for days on end. (/s) Jokes aside, this is incredibly well-made. You can tell each character just by tone despite them all being the same person, you’re amazing at voice acting-also, they sound so…lifeless, and act like it too. I am so emotionally attached to these characters, well done. Here’s to hoping for justice and freedom for Sarah, Silly, Sasha, Snazzy, and Skippy. and besides this story: it’s horrifying that real people have ACTUALLY done this to their kids before. Sorry for the unreasonably long comment lmao, I’m so invested in this
I was already invested, but now I am *INVESTED.* 👀 so many lines broke me but “we’re gonna get the truth. We’re gonna steal the truth.” Sent me into ORBIT 😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤
The oldest sister being the biggest defendant of their lifestyle because “you don’t know how it was before” is probably partially out of guilt because she was the one who suggested this whole idea at the beginning
I'm so thankful there's now a compilation with all parts of this series!!! I'm WAY too invested in it; that cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat!!!
This is amazing for one person to have created. I feel like there's a growing awareness of the dangers of family vlog channels in general and hopefully that will result in child protection acts to shield the kids who are being forced to participate in them. Thanks to Caroline for making a difference with this content. ❤
Like others in the comments, there are things I kind of disagree with this channel on (love HEAS, as I work in mental health and have seen too many restrictive EDs to be comfortable with deliberate weight loss or calorie restriction), but I keep coming back for the really excellent videos !
Whoa! This is masterfully done. The character range, dynamics, world-building, timing, writing…everything is top notch. Brava! PS: the mother character is TERRIFYING.
I just wasn’t releasing some of them on RUclips shorts cause they were over a minute and they all end on cliffhangers, so I didn’t want to chop them up.

My theory is that Smiley is gay and likes girls, there was some sort of tone when she said “getting to know the other girls” and also when Sarah said that the boy Smiley was going on a date with was cute she said “I guess…if you like that kind of thing”
Oh 100%
💯
Yessss
Exactly what I thought.
Exactly 💯
The fact that silly doesn’t know if she’s actually sick or not breaks my heart
Soo:
Sasha is the eldest, she came up with the whole vlogging thing, bit than regretted it.
This was a lot of work so I would appreciate a like 😊
DAMN
As someone who doesn't have tiktok when Emily said "...okay" and started nodding I almost cried. She seemed like the most indoctrinated and when she snapped I was 🫢🤭
10:26 “Sasha’s lost at sea” she looks like she’s about to cry
AND the fact that it was sasha's idea, who then becomes the one to speak out and leave the family is just. so. good.
UGH i might be over reacting but this is *chefs kiss* great quality content
(i also like to think that this may inspire some real family vlog kids to see how abnormal this lifestyle is, and to speak out about it, but thats just wishful thinking)
What do you think the chances are that if the sisters confront the parents and want to leave like Sasha, that the mom will blame Sasha? "Sasha pushed for the family channel in the first place. She wanted this to happen. Do you really think that you can trust someone who wanted this to happen to you and then leave you cause she felt like it?"
The GUTPUNCH that would be
If I had free time, I’d actually *love* to sketch out what I think all the sisters look like
@@gigikju9934 I actually did that today I drew lil sandwich and Sarah grace
My family is big there is five kids and my mother would never post us on social media. She didn't let me post on social media until I was 14 and she doesn't allow me to post my younger siblings and I thank her for that. I'm extremely glad I didn't get exposed to the Internet at a young age cuz it probably would have broke me. Ty mom.
FINALLY! I HAVE THEM ALL IN ORDER!
the "sarah. sarah grace." gets me every time man
Also your acting for Sarah Grace when she finally meets up with Sasha again AHHHH!!! You deserve all of the things.
6:06 "IM THROWING UP IM P!SSING IM SH!TING CAUSE IM SO EXCITED TO SEE MARIO" go me rolling BHahahahahhahahaHAHAHAHHAHAAAAHA
There were a bunch I hadn't seen! Thanks for putting them in order. I can't wait to see what happens next!
“It’s bullying to not pee my pants” is my fav part
Really appreciate you taking the time to compile all these in 1 place. The time, talent, and effert you pour into it is truly seen and loved! You've created a beautiful piece of art with this series. Hopefully, it will bring enough awareness to get things moving in the right direction for all the families like this. P.S. FYI I noticed that the episode of the babysitter talking to Sarah Grace about going to the park is missing. No biggie though
Especially impressive once you remember that the video’s out of posting order.
@richmondkennedy4638 she says in another video that posting order =/= chronological in the lore
Watching this one, I'm more wondering if she writes each episode on spot, rather than one complete story then broken up in sections for TT and shorts
I’m so glad you put this on YT…I don’t have TikTok or instagram, so I didn’t know I was missing so many “episodes”!
Oh my god the mother scares me so much, and the little broken "but that's the only time I get to do any math" ... oh, Emily. I am so sorry for all these girls. This series is amazing.
No words in the English language can express how much I want this series to be a real TV/Netflix series.
"You must love that hat"
"no" (in the most exhausted voice I've ever heard)
a while back, i hit a point where i felt like everything was out of my control. i kept wondering why other people seemed to get what they wanted while i was stuck in the same place. then i came across this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. i wasn’t expecting much, but the way it explains the connection between your energy and the life you create? it blew my mind. it’s not just a book, it’s like a blueprint for turning your life around.
Sasha’s explosive interview was right after she introduced the idea of the vlog? Amazing storytelling
It was the next video in the timeline but it wasn't right after. Sasha made the suggestion in 2010, the interview was in 2019 and everything else is present day.
this series makes me want to see a full-on psychological horror movie centered around a family vlogging channel. your acting is really good
"what would you want?" "👁️👄👁️ Olivia Rodrigo" has big "I WANT HERMIONE GRANGER!! and a rocket ship" from AVPM energy
This is the best reference you could have made 😭
omg fellow starkid likerhello
A FELLOW STARKID‼️‼️‼️
just caught up and I’M ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT AHHHHHHH
this channel and this series is one of the best things i’ve come across on RUclips recently.
Cheers! ❤
“we’re gonna steal the truth.”
DUDE WHATTT
i am so invested in this series. i love how the kids went from being perfect little camera pets to reaching out to the truth about their lives. i want them to be free so badly. i want them all to learn about how they’ve been exploited by their own parents and how they have every right to live somewhere else, i want them to be safe and happy forever and offline for a bit :(((
No!! You left me in suspense! Oh my goodness. I have never been so invested in a fake family's life before.
It’s not fake at all, it’s based on real family channels
@christoperaaron8218 The family is fake though
@@christoperaaron8218It's still fake
the vibes are so sinister, you did such a good job at acting and writing
THAT'S THE END??? What a cliffhanger!!! I need more!
JUSTICE FOR LITTLE SANDWICH!!!⬇⬇
SILLY SANDWICH POOR GIRL
i love these because i hate the reality and pain of these channels but i get the DRAMA of it all without the real pain. your acting is so good! 💖
Poor skippy! Each child is manipulated but she is actively hated
“Sarah…Sarah Grace” ….chills bro, literal chills
invested. since the very beginning 'do I need to keep using the camera voice?' line nearly made me cry. I
Whenever these kids get brought up people start banging on about Coogan accounts.
I’m so happy to see them all together! The poor Sandwich girls.
“ I’m not a little brother at all” sent chills down my spine
I’m obsessed with Smiley, we love a lesbian icon
This series is the best

I LOVE that line!!! The first time i heard that line I was shook. ❤
I NEED the rest of this saga, it's become so much more than just satire, it is honestly such good writing, editing and acting that it's shocking! WE STAND WITH THE SANDWICH SISTERS! 🥲
Thank you!
I still can't get over how she says "No you're not sorry" instead of "No you're ok"
It breaks my heart every single time
I am on the edge of my seat over this, the craftsmanship and acting to put all of these pieces together is incredible. So invested in this.
SMILEY IS GAYYYYY♥️
watching all of these together made me truly appreciate this series much more than before. that last line from sunny gave me literal chills. i can't wait for the rest of this. i hope everything turns out ok for them.
Was not expecting 40th birthday lol 9:22
This is GREAT Caroline, thank you for compiling the series into one place (That I know, thank God, for sure is actually uploaded by you) because there are so many annoying fake accounts trying to steal your content. ANYWAY, this series is pretty amazing and the depth you continue to provide is fantastic.
I saw one short about this series and I absolutely had to watch this. You did a phenomenal job at creating and acting out this story. I really liked it, and I hope it’s not over because that was a big cliffhanger😭. Good job!
who else thinks this should be a netflix series
👇
I dont think it needs to be I know it needs to be
This deserves to be on Netflix, but does Netflix deserve for this to be on it? 🤔
If it was a Netflix show, children actors would have to recreate these characters and I think that’s the opposite of what she wants
@@rionsignorelli9993 true but it might spread awareness to kids just like that and that's what she wants
Nah some things don’t need to be a Netflix series
"But SUNNY SANDWHICH. Is 16." My God
thank you! I am now in tears and will be thinking about this for days on end. (/s)
Jokes aside, this is incredibly well-made.
Sorry for the unreasonably long comment lmao, I’m so invested in this
NO
NO NO NO
YOU CAN’T JUST END THIS SERIES I AM TOO INVESTED IN IT
I knowww!!!!!! I need like a 100 more of these!!
The way that the dead eye look of the mother makes her look insanely deranged is so unsettling
This is amazing for one person to have created. I feel like there's a growing awareness of the dangers of family vlog channels in general and hopefully that will result in child protection acts to shield the kids who are being forced to participate in them. Thanks to Caroline for making a difference with this content. ❤
I'm so invested in the outcome of this story
HOLY SCHNEIKES!!! Girl you’d better copyright this idea or whatever they do. THIS IS SO GOOD!!!
That ending sounded like "we're going to steal the declaration of Independence" 😂
Like was she filming all this aside from what she was releasing??? This is SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! girl!!! I need more!!!!
I just wasn’t releasing some of them on RUclips shorts cause they were over a minute and they all end on cliffhangers, so I didn’t want to chop them up.
