Can someone just tell me what in da hell, which language did they speak?! It just popped out of my head with my Jackie Chan face, looking confused.
Anyway, leave it in the comment below.

Here is my main question for this video, from 0:00 - 0:39, High Elf Archer and her older sister were having a conversation, but for some reason, it's not Japanese. I'm curious to know what language did they just spoke?

    • @SirAlric82

They were probably speaking what in the author's mind passes as the language of the elves. I don't know if they were actually speaking some real language different from japanese or if they were simply speaking random made up words and pretend it was some sort of language.

I did some research and apparently high elves are almost immortal compared to normal elves who live for 2000 to 3000 years that's why High Elf Archer's sister is 8000 years old which is alot more than average elves with 1000 or 2000 year old

That't why relationships between elves and humans are nearly impossible, because after the human dies, the elf will probably find new love.

    • @gamester512
      @gamester512 10 месяцев назад +6

Tiki (who is pretty much a 2,000+ year old dragon in human form, and likely has a few thousand more years left in her at the very least since she's essentially a Demi-Goddess, due to her mother, Naga, being widely revered as the "Divine Dragon", and Naga herself is still very much alive during the events of Awakening) in Fire Emblem Awakening puts it pretty well if you have a male Robin romance and marry her: *"I know that to love another is to watch the world move past him. But such short years make an eternity worth living."* And at least in Tiki's case Robin will leave Tiki with a truly special gift and something to remember him by before his eventual death: their daughter, Morgan (who, being a half-manakete due to Tiki being a full-flooded manakete, will have at least a millennia of life ahead of her, and likely far more than that).
And at least in D&D, when elves become romantically involved with humans, it is often because the elves are attracted and drawn to the human's passion and zest for life, as with how short their lifespans are compared to those of an elf, they live each day with a vigor and love of life that elves can rarely experience for themselves, and the humans are often drawn to the elf's grace, dignity, and calm. And such relationships can result in half-elven children as a constant reminder and gift from that relationship even once the elf's human partner has since succumbed to old age. Hell, the relationship between Drizzt Do'Urden & Catti-brie (and elf and human respectively) is one of the most wholesome and pure relationships out there (though Catti-brie was fortunate enough to have been allowed to reincarnate after her death, and thus she was able to reunite with Drizzt and resume their relationship and marriage, so Drizzt gets to have many more years with Catti-brie than he normally would), and Catti-brie even has a daughter with Drizzt.
While humans have a much shorter lifespan than elves, their passion for and love of life burns so brightly that it can, in a sense, be infectious and provide their elven partner with many years of excitement and passion that they otherwise would only rarely experience. I mean, look at how energetic and excitable the High Elf Archer is when she's in Goblin Slayer's company, she's always cheerful, happy, and eager for some fun.

@@PhoenixfromYT_Official4life Oh that's because that's exactly what her sister calls her out. I mean here's the full interaction from the Light Novel.
Goblin Slayer Light Novel Volume 7 - Chapter 4: The Fight with the Beast
      "Atana." My dear one.
She heard a voice like music, even though not a leaf or branch had been disturbed. The voice was even, not scolding, but High Elf Archer quickly let go of the bird, to whose leg she had tied a small tube.
It flapped away noisily, after which it disappeared into the window of the hall where the council was being held.
"Ettobo ni norokotan nokatamu. Ianachisafu." Climbing the trees again? You're hopeless.
"Ara, iana yujuretto bonettadasen." Oh, and yet, here you are, dear older sister.
High Elf Arched tilted her head all the way back so as to peek at the other elf and smirked. The rich silver dress covering the generous body filled her upside-down vision. Her sister walked noiselessly along the branch; High Elf Archer righted herself with an easy movement.
"Onii, etsuka nedigiaku?" Shouldn't you be at the council?
"Awachisesakamo, inatagamashijo." I'll let the old men handle things.
The elf with the flower crown shook her head elegantly, a melancholy expression on her face.
It was obvious that she, too, had escaped the council. She was the chief's daughter, a princess of the elves, and yet, even she was still too young to be allowed to speak in council.
For the elves, seniority was immutable. All the more reason to watch how mortals behaved before passing judgement upon them.
"...Iromutsuki?" Do you mean to go?
"Oisedianaketoettsuo?" I can hardly ignore the issue, can I?
It wasn't clear whether she meant the goblins, or Goblin Slayer. Even if her sister had ventured to ask, most likely High Elf Archer would have smiled ambiguously and not bothered to answer. Maybe she herself didn't know the answer.
      ".....Onuriettakau." Do you understand?
That was exactly why the elf with the flower crown had to ask.
She didn't understand what her little sister was thinking, what had driven her to become an adventurer. Even a high elf could not read the mind of another.
"Hito nio numuuuya, oyoniakijimu." Human lives are short.
The branch didn't quiver as she walked, as if she were herself part of the great tree. As if she were a blossom springing forth from it.
"Uamisetiku, inuoyukatatamagisofu." Like twinkling stars, they soon wink out.
The elf gestured to the star-spattered night sky as she spoke. The glittering heavens were so far away, unreachable. The gate-way of the rains. Home of Phlogiston, the burned wind.
The younger sister chuckled at the elder's gesture, which was almost as if she were trying to grasp what could not be reached, and then the younger sister stretched her own hand toward the sky.
"Oyonuriettakau, amaseen." I understand, Elder sister.
High Elf Archer made a brief circle in the air with one pale finger.
"So I think...," She said musically switching to the common tongue.
      And I'll stop here.
