Lynette, I have been watching you from the very beginning and I am so excited to see a sewing video from you again! You have two beautiful daughters to sew for now, they are so blessed to have such a talented mom. Thank you for trusting us enough to share your sewing projects and homemaking content which is why lots of us started watching you. Oaklynn looks beautiful in her new dress and remember, "done is better than perfect"! 😊

Love your sewing video. You make it feel like anyone can do it 🩷
When the kids moved out.. i turned my daughters room into my sewing room. So much easier when everything has a place! I love to sew clothing and quilts.
I love everything you post! Such great ideas of repurposing thrifted dresses. The red skirt turned out so pretty! Oaklynn is precious and looked nice in everything you made for her💓
Great idea--fabric is soooo expensive anymore so your thrift ideas and reconstructing into something else is genius
It was so nice to see a sewing video, it has been a while. The dress is precious!
I absolutely loved seeing a sewing video again! I enjoy them so much and there really aren’t many on RUclips of this type, Mennonite style 😊 I personally also love up cycling thrifted items sewing projects
Turning thrift store finds into fashion masterpieces one stitch at a time! Watch out, Project Runway!" 😄👗🧵
The dress is adorable. I’m amazed at your sewing abilities. ❤
I am a great-grandma now, but used to sew matching outfits for my daughters when they were little. I loved sewing back then, but haven’t made anything other than grandkids’ Halloween costumes in years.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, I LOVE YOU SHOWING HOW TO SEW FOR THOSE THAT KNOW VERY LITTLE ON THE SUBJECT.❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 I'VE HAD MY KENMORE SEWING MACHINE FOR ALMOST 45 YEARS, HAD TO HAVE ONE SOON AFTER WE MARRIED. THE SERGER SEEMS OVER MY HEAD TO THREAD. YOU DID A GREAT JOB.
Great job Lynette. Looks like Oaklynn loves them. Your girls are just so precious and you are so talented. 💕
I just found your channel about a week ago while watching Megan Fox. I am so enjoying your videos! I’ve been going through and watching your previous videos. I just can’t get enough! Post whatever you like. I’m here for it all!❤❤❤
That little girl’s dress turned out so cute!
Lynette…you are so talented…beautiful things you made! Yay!! Bless you, Miss Linda 🥰🥰
Thank you for this. I always leave dresses when the tops aren’t good. Now I know I can make them into skirts.
This is my personal favourite video of all !
Oh, I LOVE repurposing thrifted items!! You created some really sweet pieces for Oaklyn! And the best thing about thrifting is being able to get quality items versus today's "fast fashion." Thanks, Lyn!
Oh my goodness I so enjoyed this sewing vlog so much that it gave me the want to take out my old singer 1947 feather weight machine. It was my grandmother's and that is how I learned to sew under her supervision. I've made many things with that machine. So it too will be handed down in the family when time comes. tfs
I enjoy watching everything you share on your videos. Thank you.
The dresses are a win for Oaklyn. The skirt is really nice too. Like your skirt also look nice on you..
Watching this while sewing 🤗
Awesome!!
Lynette,
You’re very talented. Loved the skirts and the dress you made for you and Oaklynn.
Awesome job.Love the dress.Oakland looked so cute. You are so talented
I can’t wait to see what you make with the ‘sparkly’ fabric! Loved the sewing video!
Thought this was a great video. It brought back special memories for me when my girls were small and I sewed for them. Thanks.
Every week you amaze me with your talents, God has certainly blessed you, and thank you for sharing those blessings with us ❤😊😊
You did an awesome job with your sewing projects. I even learned some sewing things. I’ve never done or seen before. Do more sewing videos.❤❤
I have recently resumed sewing after 40# years I throughly enjoyed this
You are so talented, and you do so many different things, I like seeing all different things you do. Do more like this!
Love your skirt. You did great on your daughters clothes.
You are a thrifting genius! I can tell that the way you were brought up you were taught to “keep” your house well. I guess I can say that with all Amish/Mennonite ladies. I know we are not supposed to be jealous but….I really wish I had the house keep talents you have. 😊
Love love love your red skirt x
I love these kind of videos I used to sew a lot
Love this, thank you for including us in this video.
Lynette, You have two beautiful models for your sewing. Love to see you doing sewing video’s too.❤❤❤
You did great repurposing those items and I think Oaklyn loved all of them…she looked so cute in every one of them. I like the choices you made on the print of all of them, so feminine and pretty. I enjoyed this video very much…something different, but I enjoy all of your videos, thank you for sharing 💞😊
Thanks for the feedback!
When my kids were growing up I sewed a lot. I’m good enough to get by but my mother and sisters were pros. They could look at something and go home and make it much prettier and better than the store bought. I sewed out of necessity because I was very poor but I did well as long as I stayed basic. I love that you’re able to repurpose these finds! Great job
Lynette, this was one of my favorite videos. I learned a lot. I am not good at sewing but I love trying. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Skirts were so beautiful.
Yes, I love the sew basic patterns!
I like to get super simple patterns and embellish them. I add lace or cute buttons. Sometimes I would make matching pantaloons. I love making quilts, however a cute dress make rhe girlie happy. God bless you and yours. Love, jenwhite 😊❤😊. Love your adorable family.
I’m glad you did this video!! I’m a sewer and sew lot of my clothes because I’m modest it’s hard to find stuff at times… so I sew lot of things like dresses and Skirts and slips and ect… also tip if you find a dress pattern you like and it’s shorter then you’d like just at a even amount for example 5 inches to the skirt or dress hem on the pattern… if that makes sense…. If it’s curved bottom be sure to follow the curve…. But it’s very easy… lot of dresses are always short on pattern and I add anywhere from 2-16 inches at times to make what length I want
Would love to see sewing videos. Love all you videos decorating, cooking, cleaning, shopping it’s all great. Gives us ideas thanks
Wow, I was sewing before I set down to watch this! I am 69yrso and and finally recovering from carpal tunnel surgery. This was great! I am going to make a "needle book" next for my granddaughters. ❤ this vid!
You’re so talented. Your skirt and Oaklynn’s dresses and skirts very cute. Love your shoes Oaklynn 🦄
You have the cutest girls adorable. Also you are very talented. Love your weekly shows. Keep up the great work
Loved this video.. Your calmness is amazing. I'm always thinking I will make a mistake so I stress. You make it look so easy. Oakland is a sweetheart.
For anyone wondering- I’ve tried winding elastic thread and it worked for me! Maybe it’s the type of elastic or machine… love this inspirational video! I always enjoy when you do sewing videos:)
Lynette, I love whatever you post, I have followed you forever. I took sewing in Home Economics in high school years ago, and I still remember it took me 18 weeks to make an A-line skirt! A square pillow 6 weeks! Never sewed again. My daughter can sew very well, my granddaughter got a sewing machine for Christmas she is 12 and she learning on her own with help from her mom. I like seeing what you do. I enjoyed this video, do more!
I think the dresses and skirts turned out so cute. I couldn’t sew a straight stitch if I tried but enjoy watching others do it. lol
I love watching all your videos.
Hey Lynette, you did a great job with repurposing your thrifting bargains. Oaklynn looks adorable in her new clothes. Keep going with the sewing, a little practice is all it takes.
Your sewing ability is genius. I love this video. I have a Singer sewing machine that I bought at a garage sale for $20.00 years ago. It’s portable in a wooden case, functions well, and I think it will last forever.
I used to sew for my 2 girls and 2 boys and my grands but they are all grown. Now I make quilts and sew for myself. It’s very relaxing for me!
I enjoy seeing what your life is like.Im always interested in what you do.
All the garments turned out beautifully!! My daughter is 44 now but I made all her clothes up to prom dresses. It’s very rewarding!!
WOW! Lynette you are very talented , the dresses are so very pretty, yes I think you should do a little more sewing video's! Thank you for sharing God Bless! Liz 😊💕
Love watching your videos all of them dont stop they are great
I'm a grandma and have been repurposing, fixing and mending dresses and clothes! Recently my grandaughter burnt a hole in the middle of her brand new dress. I took a big portion out and it's a much shorter dress, but it worked! It's kind of fun repurposing and fixing things over!
I first found your channel because one of your sewing videos came up on my recommended page. I always love these sewing videos!
Thank you. I grew up sewing... even made my own wedding dress along with my bridesmaids' dresses 40 years ago! 😊 (A large safety pin works great to thread elastic thru the pocket for waist bands.)
I have 5 girls that I can hardly find modest clothes for these days. I need all the sewing tips! 🥰
You did a great job on all your sewing projects.
Sewing videos are of interest and always welcome just as all the other videos you post. May you and your family have a blessed week.
I love watching your sewing videos. I think one of my favorite videos is the one where you made that cape dress. That was such an awesome idea and the dress turned out to be beautiful.
Love this! Anything you are able to post is a blessing and your creations were gorgeous. Amazing!❤
This brought back memories 😊 my mom used to do this for me… bigger second hand dresses turned into small dresses for me. Well done Lynette❤
Yes yes yes ! Love seeing different content ! Keep mixing it up ! God bless you all !
Lynette
Ive watched your page 4 years now, and love every minute of it

This was great! I wouldn't call it elementary sewing. I think they looked great. Good job mom!
I loved this. I wish I could make my granddaughter a dress
I sewed for my first daughter before life got so busy. It is rewarding to make adorable items for your kids.🪡📍🧵
I have been watching you since the boys were small and that’s been awhile lol. I love everything you post you have so much talent in everything you do. I never did learn how to sew probably because patience is not something I have when learning. You make sewing look so easy
My favorite videos to watch are sewing videos. So thank you for this video I am not a professional sower but I like to sow That's maybe why I like the video
Nice job. She looked adorable in all of them. Blessings!
GREAT JOB! LOVELY SKIRTS & DRESSES. ❤
I love the sewing videos!! Thank you.
I loved your video!
I really enjoyed this video. I always made my children’s clothes and most of mine. It gave me so many memories. Adorable clothing. Thanks.
Loved this! Thank you for sharing your sewing projects with us.
The thrift flips are cute!
We will watch just about anything you make for us! Love your videos!
I sew a lot for other people, so Love watching sewing videos. This was a Great video!!
Such a eautiful job on the dresses, I am a quilter and I appreciate ,what you are doing, ou did a fabulous job
I think you did a great job. I never thought to get bigger dresses and make dresses or skirts from them. Thank you for the tips.
I enjoyed seeing you meet the challenges of your tall little one. It is necessary to custom design when you have sizes outside the standards. I have 2 granddaughters who are 2-1/2years apart in age but can wear the same size. The youngest is 4 and chubby. The 7 year old is thin as a rail and tall. We must sew or alter many things. ❤
You have done a good job on everything you have made❤❤
As a quilter, my motto is “finished is better than perfect!”
Loved the sewing video, you did so well!!! I sew pretty regularly, I love to thrift something and tweak it to fit! Yes Oaklynn we love your shoes, and you were a pretty model! 💕💕
Love the sewing videos.
Good job I've never been able to sew no patience and you amaze me on how you make your own patterns amazing talent
Well- I didn’t do too much of my own so far. But my mom is much better at eyeballing things!
I enjoy your sewing videos!
Watching this brought back so many memories. Before my vision changed I sewed my clothes, kids clothes, drapes, curtains and even Cabbage Patch doll clothes. I miss sewing. My Kenmore machine finally died after 18 years.
I enjoy any/all of your videos, and I enjoy subscribing to your channel!
Love it !!@ my grandma use to measure us, then go home and sew p.j.'s, skirts, dresses, pants for her grandchildren. Wish I had that gift. You make it seem so easy. Sooo glad you posted this. Thanks a million❤🎉❤
Love this as a sometimes sewer!
