oh dang Jack is dead 01:58:59 RIP Jack, I played the trilogy 6 times and saw a lot of playthroughs and deads, but not Jack's ending here ... btw. in my first playthrough sadly there where more coffins ...
@@LilyCharlesprobably because you brought grunt. I brought grunt to the final battle and lost Mordin. Mainly because of you bring strong team members to the final boss, you can lose one of your weaker members like Jack, Mordin, and Tali
@@ethanuy2261 yeah, Jack was the only team member who wasn't loyal since she got in a fight with Miranda and I had to pick a side... My chat was telling me that is she was loyal, I would have lost Mordin instead, which would have even devastating! 😢
@LilyCharles actually, you can take Mordin or anyone on the suicide mission and not lose anyone, as long as they are loyal and you have all possible upgrades.
@@balrog92000 yea, but she had the ring....I mean I played this over 30 times on insanity and I have never lost anyone when I had everything upgraded and loyal, did she forget to buy Jack implant?
If Jack was not loyal the only chance for her to survive is to put the most tankiest, defensive squadmates to well.... defend the door. The most defensive squadmates are in this order are: Grunt, Garrus and Zaed. And the squishier people you could have brought with you to attack, like Mordin or Tali. But if yousend Mordin to the escort team, it's even better. Also bringing Miranda with you in the very last mission would have given some additional dialogues when The Illusive Man appeared on the Hologram.
She forgot to buy Jack implant? the upgrade she offered? the L5x implants ? I think Jack dies if you do not get her upgrade, making her weaker than she could be
Jack died because she was not loyal. The only upgrades that can lead to the death of some squadmates if not implemented are the Normandy's armor, shield and weapon upgrades
I don't think I've seen the coffin scene since my first playthrough when I lost Garrus, so it hasn't occurred to me before... As you don't take the bodies of fallen squadmates with you back to the Normandy, what's in the coffin?
Lily dont laugh at a guy trying to sweep you off your feet 😭 Poor Garrus Hah, I lost Thane on my playthrough. At least your playthrough will be slightly different now. 🙂🤷🏻♂️
Just one death for a first playthrough is pretty good. I was blindly lucky and had a perfect first run. Then lost Tali on my 2nd. In 19 playthroughs, that was the only time I went back to a save and replayed it. Love Tali. Would have been okay with Jacob getting killed.
There's internal math of the rear squad. Each member has own value of 'strength'. She took the strongest members -- Grunt and Garrus -- with her, it has significantly weakend the squad. In essense, for 100% survival you have to depart Mordin with Dr. Chakwas and Co back to the ship and take with you 'weakest' people like Jack, Thane, Mordin (if he stayed). Otherwise the weakest member always dies, even being loyal. More often it is Jack or Mordin.
@@maximyudin32Jack got in a fight with Miranda and I had to pick a side, so she was the only member who wasn't loyal. Apparently I would have lost Mordin if she was loyal, which would have killed me 😢
@@BamBam-3886 as i said, there's internal math. If overall strength of the squad is below defined value, the weakest member dies, even loyal one. I think, you've taken Mordin and Tali, so the remaining squad was strong enough. Also loyal members die if you don't upgrade Normandy's shields/ armor/gun.

I was so sad about Jack, but relieved there weren't more bodies... She was such a cool character!

@@tredausmaximaCorrect. You lose the loyalty of whoever you don’t side with in the Miranda-Jack conflict, unless your P/R scores are high enough.

It makes me sad when a member dies in this mission if you didn’t put the right person and if there loyal
