It's crazy how Mark Meer is so dry as Shepard and yet he's so good as all the aliens he plays. Did this man just get 0 direction as the main character or something?
It’s probably because there are so many different ways to go about acting as Shepard because he’s the player character meanwhile the rest are NPCs have more set in stone stories. Plus add the fact it’s you who chooses the backstories of Shepard, it’s kinda hard to act as someone when they could have 100 different pasts.
@@sirsponge9633 I think it's a direction thing rather than an acting thing. Mark Meer can ACT and in later games he does really really well as Shepard IMO, I think it's like Matthew Porretta as Alan Wake. Dude was probably directed to be flat and it didn't work out very well

Tali is absolutely a solid choice of spouse. My own Shepard can and will grow old with her. While adoption would be necessary due to genetic incompatibility with humans, she'd also be a pretty good mother when the time comes to think about raising a family.
I make a male and female characters in all rpgs. Which served me well since you can't romance Jack and Tali as Femshep, which is a crime against humanity far as I'm concerned.
Personally i found ME1 to be in 2nd place for insanity difficulty with ME2 being the most difficult (1st) and ME3 being least difficult (3rd) (granted i played the game as a sentinal class) insanity really does make you play the game alot more differently. Ngl tho ME1 combat is definately outdated.

Hello surprised how early I am. I’m excited for the halo 2 stream today
This reminds me that during my first playthrough of the trilogy I went full neutral, and tanked the bad results. Till i jad to choose between (SPOILER) killing Tali or Legion. I quit and started everything again
I found it quite easy when i replayed it this weekend.
@@sirsponge9633 I mean yeah, but Jennifer Hale's deliveries as Femshep are much less stiff than Mark Meer's are
@@cassandramaccarthy3337 we’re talking about 2 different actors here some things are just harder for some actors
@@sirsponge9633 I think it's a direction thing rather than an acting thing. Mark Meer can ACT and in later games he does really really well as Shepard IMO, I think it's like Matthew Porretta as Alan Wake. Dude was probably directed to be flat and it didn't work out very well
@@cassandramaccarthy3337 I didn’t mean to say that he couldn’t act and I do agree with you on that. He gets into the role much better as the games go on.
31:01 For the romance debate, I always thought of it like this for male shep: Tali, Jack, and Miranda would be great girlfriends, but Liara, would be an excellent wife. And then there's Ashley. Tactically nuke her every time lol
honestly, I still think liara works better as a best friend.
Also disagree on the analysis of tali, straight up.
Nah, Ashley's wife material with all that talk about family BBQs.
Tali is absolutely a solid choice of spouse. My own Shepard can and will grow old with her. While adoption would be necessary due to genetic incompatibility with humans, she'd also be a pretty good mother when the time comes to think about raising a family.
Mass effect 1 is built different
i seen that shocker bricky respectable
Report to the ship as soon as possible. We'll bang okay.
53:02 literally measurehead
Oh it’s starting…oh let’s go!
ME1 had the best combat in the trilogy.
Wait till you play mass 3 with the final marauder that will piss anyone off, and I did it with an engineer
Oh right, I forget that Shepard can be a male character. Looking forward to the Big Stupid Jellyfish.
I make a male and female characters in all rpgs. Which served me well since you can't romance Jack and Tali as Femshep, which is a crime against humanity far as I'm concerned.
@@Fools3rrand Unless explicitly stated otherwise all romance option characters should be bi. Baldur's Gate 3 helping pave the road on that.
Personally i found ME1 to be in 2nd place for insanity difficulty with ME2 being the most difficult (1st) and ME3 being least difficult (3rd) (granted i played the game as a sentinal class) insanity really does make you play the game alot more differently. Ngl tho ME1 combat is definately outdated.
i cant belive i missed this live because of my job
I love the krogan
I'll play ME1 on Insanity over ME2 Insanity ANY Day.
So I assume that's not gonna include the combat arena DLC
Hey bricky, are you gonna play In Stars and Time?
Man I'm, hearing Thane is 8th best and it 's fucking with me cause my name actually is Thane.
Edit: Hearing the Charge line for the first time was fantastic. As, someone who plays a lot of vanguard, Nothing beats countercharging a Krogan and blasti ng them in the face with a shotgun.
