My locs were forming like his before they fell. 4c hair, started with a high top, sponge brush to start then freeform the rest of the way with the palm roll on the new growth every month or so depending on how fast your hair grows. I barely do root maintenance aswell, I call my girl up when it's getting too messy.
The stronger the seed the more course your hair creates woolier hair/fabulous locs and people says I want mine to look like yours stop with the envy love your own!!
I'm trying cutting my hair shorter than a inch and sponge it in a certain direction so as it grows it's being trained and I use a durag because my mom says it made my hair look better.
