so when you start dreads off theyre all skinny and stuff, but then over time they thicken out? so i was wondering if you started dreads when you hair was quiet short later on would your short locks be thick, like the xxxtentacion mug shot, or does straight hair dreads not get thick until theyre longer?
uhhhh no, they're either thick sections or skinny sections
my hair is like 2b and the thickness depends on the size of the sections, how fine your hair is, and how tight they're locked. i got a retwist and have around 40 dreads with 3 inch hair so they're skinny at the root from the twist and skinny at the tips because i didn't blunt them but thicker in the middle as theyre starting to bud

miss the locks
I used wax on one dread and i regretted it instantly. I have straight hair and in 1998 i had a friend back comb my hair once and it almost completely came out but i just let them do their thing and my hair is still locs. At first I just used a bar of oatmeal soap and my hair was short so it worked. Now i just use shampoo, vinegar, and baking soda same as before i locked my hair. I have had many judgments but i am glad to know who to avoid and that includes jobs.
