Woods richardson effectiveness came from facing mariners they gotta k more than any other team. And thats what they attempted to fix this offseason. Julio just isnt on level of elly or witt
Pitching Ninja had it right. He didn't see anything that blew Ninja away as far as the quality of Woods Richardson's pitches. Only Mariner excuse could be the travel factor. They played in Houston Sunday afternoon. Mariners batters watched pitches go right down the middle of the strike zone and swung at outside stuff. They do need to add a quality bat to that lineup.
"I'm having a hard time figuring out why this pitcher is so good" is a feeling Mariners fans are very familiar with when watching opposing pitchers.
