Europe is known for its deserted woods and lands full of craziness. Here in North West Europe where I live we have woods on mountains that are very scary. When I was young I used to play with my friends in the woods and we found lots of abandoned cabins.

I've just finished this movie 5 minutes ago. It was good. There are some jokes in this trailer, but to be honest we have every joke from the movie here :) It's not a comedy. I laughed few times but that's because acting was very natural (but good!) and they acted just like group of guy friends would talk and react in situation like that. Which made movie more realistic. It will not be on "one of the best horror movies ever" but I was suprisingly good, better that I expected. I enjoyed it. Sometimes I even felt like I was there with them, atmosphere was creepy and the "final boss :P" was cool. I don't feel like I wasted 90 minutes. :)
The fact that the film was shot in Romania and not Sweden bothers the hell out of me. I live near where this film takes place and neither the forests nor the scenery looks like northern Sweden.. Just look at the trees, we don’t have those trees up here. They are typical mid/eastern European trees.

Loved the book this was based on & to those of you thinking the movie's going to be a horror comedy it really isn't, the book was incredibly dark & disturbing. There were a few times especially in the final moments of the story that came close to giving me nightmares. It looks like it's staying pretty true to the book from what I remember & like the book seems to have a similar feel to the descent so it might turn out pretty creepy.
