I miss Taylor as well. I attended the LA tribute concert and was impressed at how many loved him. However, I have seen the Foos three times this summer. Josh gives them a whole new dimension and it is evident that Dave has great respect for him and lots of fun, integrating, his superior, drum skills,. Dave said the Foos would be a different group from here on in and so they are. This is good, as they needed to move forward rather than become a tribute band. The new album is a monster. I was blown away hearing “The Teacher,” live. Not sure I am too wild about adding Nate vocals. He sounds prominently off tune. I often wonder if Pat still has his voice, or a if all the years of smoking, have decimated it. I have often wished he would perform one of his songs from a solo record at a Foos concert.

It’s cool to see Nate doing backup vocals. I’m surprised he wasn’t doing backup in the early foo days. But yeah, I imagine Dave could use some extra vocal support these days

The guy can play anything…he filled in for The Offspring, Guns and Roses and was in two bands of his own that did similar up-tempo music. I didn’t watch this whole show but is there some reason you think he’s not up to par?
