    LYRICS
This could be the biggest mistake we make in this life
Chasing as we try to compete
    For each other’s time
From the world we locked ourselves inside
In a place to keep us safe from all to see
They can’t hide you from me
    Thank Your Lucky Stars
That we can call this ours
    We’ve had some bad ideas
    Yet we’re still here
    In this life worth dreaming
I can be your heart, be your soul
Just don’t let me off easy
    Don’t you let me go
    Thank your lucky stars
That we can call this ours
A lovely mess we find ourselves in
    We brave it so bold
Quietly we dance through the heat
    Your hand as I hold
But their warnings left us no concern
As we swallow the truth whole
    Unoriginal
    We’re losing control
Remember all the ghosts that you left them with
    Don’t give ‘em up

When I first got my driver's permit, my mom and I would spend countless hours in the car and just as often as we were on the road, Coheed would make it into the rotation. She passed earlier this year and I still find myself searching for her in the folds of everything I know. One of the most comforting things I can do for myself is take shelter in some of her old mantras like, "thank your lucky stars". Yet again seemingly random events soothe a weary soul. Thank you, Coheed.

I'm loving this track. Beautiful guitar solo. Great drumming, throughout. Claudio's writing just keeps becoming more and more its own language. It's been a beautiful experience following the development of this band for the last 15 years. Not a lot of rock bands to come from the same era have kept my attention like these guys. Probably my favorite rock band of the last couple decades.

I had to get my dog put down in June 2019, 17-year old Aussie Shepard/Border Collie Mix. He was with me from late middle school, through good times and bad. I was broken, but it was time.
On the walk home, I had this song playing in my head. He was right by my side when I first listened to it ~half-a year earlier, and every Lucky Stars plays... I remember Bear... and I say to myself: Thank my lucky stars, I got to meet him, that he was here, and we'll never forget him.

This was definitely a more romantic album. Which is bad. I like the album. I would have to put it above second tribunal but under yotbr. Everything else besides color are classics and hard to top.

its romantic for a reason. The story line is about a couple.

After listening to the album multiple times: I feel that Vaxis is Atlas. The story has a sci-fi story and a real story. Most of the album is about Claudio and Chondra and what they go through living on the road. Remember that in the Prologue "It starts with them, but ends with me, their son, Vaxis."

Sorry, I just can't get into this. A nice love song but it feels uninspired, especially for a closing track. The blues solo is just so out of place here. Wake Up and even Pearl of the Stars are far more enjoyable. Just like most of the other songs on the album, it goes on for way too long.

To each their own. I personally think this song is quite a refreshing change of pace in the album itself, and the vocal delivery is very unique for Claudio. I can feel the sincerity in his voice. Also, the blues solo to me is very hopeful, which isn't what the pentatonic scale is usually used for. I think it's quite brilliant.
