When I first got my driver's permit, my mom and I would spend countless hours in the car and just as often as we were on the road, Coheed would make it into the rotation. She passed earlier this year and I still find myself searching for her in the folds of everything I know. One of the most comforting things I can do for myself is take shelter in some of her old mantras like, "thank your lucky stars". Yet again seemingly random events soothe a weary soul. Thank you, Coheed.
I really hope Mark Wahlberg makes movies and series of Claudios writings, they are one of the most amazing yet under-rated bands ever and they deserve an astronomical ammount of attention.
I had to get my dog put down in June 2019, 17-year old Aussie Shepard/Border Collie Mix. He was with me from late middle school, through good times and bad. I was broken, but it was time. On the walk home, I had this song playing in my head. He was right by my side when I first listened to it ~half-a year earlier, and every Lucky Stars plays... I remember Bear... and I say to myself: Thank my lucky stars, I got to meet him, that he was here, and we'll never forget him.
Honestly, I'm going through a rough time. I have the person everyone sees on the outside, making others laugh and smiling. Deep inside I am hurting when alone. This song really made me put it together that these two versions of me are one in the same. I am now understanding that they both love each other and I should love them both. For that, I am grateful.
Hang in there. The Self is made up of different facets that need to be acknowledged and loved, integrated in a coherent holistic version. Coheed has that effect of making us think and be kinder to ourselves.
I feel you, but I've not found the peace yet. It's just so tiring, the contradicting parts of my psyche fighting each other are all I've known. The questions are ever-sought and I accept no answers. Glad you came to terms with your aspects of self :).
I'm loving this track. Beautiful guitar solo. Great drumming, throughout. Claudio's writing just keeps becoming more and more its own language. It's been a beautiful experience following the development of this band for the last 15 years. Not a lot of rock bands to come from the same era have kept my attention like these guys. Probably my favorite rock band of the last couple decades.
Hello Wayne! It's your radio pain Ray. The balance is $384 even. You can make a check out to Make a Change Advertising and send it to PO Box 56442 Chicago IL 60656. Thank you and have a great weekend!!
This album was like an IMMENSELY improved YOTBR with PFI and occasional In Keeping Secrets influences. Album comparisons beside, this album was one hell of a ride. Thank you so much Claudio, Travis, Zach, and Josh for such a great album.
I completely agree! It very much does remind me of a more matured and improved YOTBR with some hints of IKSSE3! I even get hints of GAV1 on True Ugly. I love this album, it definitely is an amazing ride from front to back! Its going to be on repeat for awhile!
I've basically only been listening to this album and nothing else since it came out. It's so cinematic and every single chorus on this album is incredibly catchy. I really like all the visuals for this album as well, seems like a good amount of thought was put into them compared to a lot of bands.
Such a beautiful song that hits me in the same hidden sweet place that "Wake Up" or "The Light & The Glass" does. I love this so much. Thank you for creating it.

Playing each song on repeat. This one hits right in the feels with Claudio's words, melody, overall arrangement of the song. Cliche but man, their music can really save lives.
Love this Coheed song!! I hear 'The Smiths' influences in this track. Coheed are one of the most original and amazing bands going. So happy I listen to sick artists like Coheed! Thank my lucky stars. ❤👌🔥
what a way to close out this album. as a whole, this album makes a case for being their best ever. but to be fair, so do all the rest ;) i hope these guys do what the Rolling Stones or Rush has done and just tour forever bc i will go every single time. they are absolutely amazing
Hello Claudio, i'm a fan from Roma i have saw 3 C & C live in Bologna, Treviso e London, i have all yours album, the last is beautuful, i'm also a drummer, Josh is a great drummer. I hope that in near future C & C will come in Italy. Do it for yours many fans. Thank you for your music. Peppe da Roma.
People complain about the repetition but I'm thinking it's part of the build up in the story that is 5 parts. It leaves part one hopeful and then goes all fucking classic dark coheed. I love the album and can't wait for act 2
@@Darksomnium I know it's hard to tolerate the wait! It's like the best series you've ever watched that you have to wait for the next season of. @@dhatfield8411 sure, but what I love is more that down home , punk rock jersey feel, kinda like My chemical romance , early stuff killed. They got too progressive in my opinion.

After listening to the album multiple times: I feel that Vaxis is Atlas. The story has a sci-fi story and a real story. Most of the album is about Claudio and Chondra and what they go through living on the road. Remember that in the Prologue "It starts with them, but ends with me, their son, Vaxis."
Sorry, I just can't get into this. A nice love song but it feels uninspired, especially for a closing track. The blues solo is just so out of place here. Wake Up and even Pearl of the Stars are far more enjoyable. Just like most of the other songs on the album, it goes on for way too long.
To each their own. I personally think this song is quite a refreshing change of pace in the album itself, and the vocal delivery is very unique for Claudio. I can feel the sincerity in his voice. Also, the blues solo to me is very hopeful, which isn't what the pentatonic scale is usually used for. I think it's quite brilliant.

There's something beautifully Pink Floyd about the guitar solo. The rest of the song feels incredibly Coheed. I actually really love this song.
