This is the fastest #electricscooter I'd ridden to date! Spoilers in the title ;) this baby flies at 34+ MPH (~55+ KMH)! Dual motors (2,000 watt), dual shocks, dual brakes, and a ton of fun to ride, especially off-roading - it's the D4+ and huge thanks to #Nanrobot for sponsoring this video.

what do you call that camera that falls you while on the scooter
Do you knkw about dualtron x?
Thanks for the awesome video. Btw, will you ever test the zero 10X soon?
Can you use it as a non Motor Scooter and just push with your legs? This is just in case you run out of power.
Thank you very much for the review - will Definitely be purchasing this scooter vs all the others - based on your review.
Electric Scooter tech is really advancing fast they can now easily out perform gas powered ones!!
Very cool. I need one of these
WHAT'S INSIDE? FAMILY are you going to open it up 😂
yes! we loved reviewing this scooter. so much terror... i mean fun 😂😂😂 looks like you caught some good air too!
Out of all the reviews I've seen of this scooter, that hiding USB port wasn't announced until this vid, hmmmm...I had no idea until now that it was there, I guess this is ample reason for me to go ahead and purchase! Phenomenal job Ben!!👍👍
Just ordered mine :-) your videos have been more informational then a lot of others, thank you
'That's exercise, and we don't want that' 😂😂. Great review as always Ben
fabulous review and filming. That's a good point on the handlebar.
“There’s little exercise and we don’t want that” 😂
I have a electric scooter and i see allot of people in Seattle with them now. I think scooter races would be awesome and the next step!
I might be getting this one. Great video! 👍
looks really fun to go off road with this thing , however since your so light , it really helps you out
My D4 jus arrived! Charging it now! Can't wait to take her out tomorrow!
Got mine in December about four-and-a-half months ago. I have 1500 miles and I absolutely love it, Roadrunner scooters has awesome customer service. I get a lot more mileage then you said. I normally get about 30 miles. But I've gotten up to 42
Nice footage for this video! I have the D4+. One change that I made was rearranging the controls to make them a lot more comfortable for my hands. I also bought more comfortable grips. My hands were blistered and bloodied from off road goofing off before I made these changes.
Haha, I agree with the blisters ;) How did you rearrange the controls, I'd love to hear your setup
@@AuthenTech check out the video I made like a month ago at 6 minutes in. NR asked me to make a video but I am terrible at making videos. Love all the riding clips from your video.
I need this for the razor scooter uprising at my local skatepark
Glad I got my FLJ T113 scooter. It's a bit more expensive, but I've confirmed it can maintain 40 mph on flat ground. I got motorcycle gloves and a helmet when I use it as a faster-than-moped PEV.
Great review!
I have to get my hands on one of these. I film at a bunch of off road shows.
mixflip hey bro, big fan aha
Thanks man great review. I have the d5+2.0 and just ordered this one also. Super excited and glad I am getting this scooter after watching your review.
Which is the maximum speed real of the d5 +???
@@samuel1682 I got my d5+ 2.0 to 37mph
That is cool 😎 thanks!
Very informative thanks Ben for your review, based on your information I purchased an additional charger.
Got mine in the mail a few hours ago :-) oh my God it's so fast :-) it's a beast
Nice to see some channel improvements
This is my birthday wish 😍
I always watch your videos sir😊
That's a beast
13:06... i spy big spring park in huntsville, al. one of my exes favorite hang out spots. i haven’t been there in like 10 years lol
this sure will make it to a job interview in time
You NEEeeeed to do a review of the lectric xp electric bike it looks crazy.
Nice reviews, but I think it’s important to consider another important factor in addition add to your 7 topics - Customer Support. These are machines that will inevitably have problems and maintenance issues at one point or another. But a number of these scooters under review, like this one, seem to be manufactured and distributed from abroad with no apparent customer service base here in the US. To compare them to scooters like the Boosted Rev or the Wide Wheel (each of which has easily available customer support domestically) without considering this distinction is short term thinking on the part of the consumer. It would really be helpful if you addressed availability of customer support in each of these reviews.
Super helpful dude!! Thank you!
Thank you for your comment, that's something I didn't even think about. Yes, for the price it looks like a great deal and I was absolutely going to go for it. But after seeing your comment I think I'm going to go with the boosted Rev. Thank you very much !
Even though I have a D6+ I bought a D4 + 2.0 also just because I like the look of it and I feel it has a more slight portability advantage over the D6+. I think you are about right in your estimation of range. I was thinking anywhere between 15 to 23 miles range of hardcore riding. I got around 18 miles on my D6+ with a good amount of power riding and the battery was down just a little under half capacity at that point.
Thanks for sharing the details!
I get anywhere between 25 and 42 miles not hard for me to usually get around 30
Great reviews. 👍🤘
How close do you think it compares to that Varla Eagle One??
I’m not at all interested with electric scooters, but I saw 34 MPH and had to click. Man this video makes me want to buy one!
Thats crazy
Nice review.
What is the 360 camera and mount you use do get that cool footage?
I have the d4+ too but it's front suspension does a weird noise when it's in use. The sound comes from the exposed thin springs. It sounds like they are shaking and makes a crappy metal noise sometimes. If you happen to know why does it and how to fix it, I would really really appreciate it!
Keep up the great job! Love your reviews!
Thank you, Lou
Delivered!
Is the suspension better than the zero 10x scooter???
i want a review on the Zero 10, maybe vs. the zero 9, but alone would be fine , like hardly any reviews on the new model
I actually have the Nan Robot D5 + and absolutely love it.
Does it really go up to 40mph like they advertised it?
@@Declopse It doesn't. Top speed with full battery is barely 36 mph and with a 50% battery it drops down to ≈31 mph. The advertised range thought is correct. At riding the scooter at those speeds I averaged 28 mph (including stopping at stop signs) and the range I got was 35 miles. Fair enough.
@@lukasjarka5340 Unbelievable that they are lying on their advertisement. I knew a bit that the speed is unaccurate, but just to rake in the money is not transparent business. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it!
@@Declopse I contacted them and asked why the speed was so much lower that advertised and their response was that this speed is achievable without the driver on. How do you do a top speed test without anybody on the vehicle?
Edit: Also the reason it doesn't reach these speeds is because of the limiter that cannot be removed neither from the inside of the scooter nor through the onboard computer (accelerator).
@@lukasjarka5340 It really doesn't make sense to advertise it as a 40mph scooter. Atleast they have to be transparent about it and let the people know it goes 40mph without driver. That's it done. Also I think yes that there needs to be a removable limiter if an individual wants to. But with a risk of losing waranty.
finally some normal e-scooter
I've just bought 1 cant wait..
nice!
Love the way you have filmed this
Thanks!
I bought a Nanrobot D4+ scooter on Amazon last month and it was a different brand. I love it cause it's very quickly, but after about a week, it has stop working about 20 miles because the controller burned out and they sent a new controller to replace it,then my scooter finally back to normal, but after nearly one month of using,I found that the battery life became shorter. The original factory told me that the dual motor's voltage is very large, so the battery life will be more short. The factory suggested me bought a new battery, but I can't accept it, so I chose to return it
A friend of mine has it and I've ridden it, It is generally a good and fun scooter but it has issues. I ll start by saying that this is a very VFM scooter, power and braking are awesome! The downsides me and my friend spotted are these:
1) You have to tighten some screws pretty often compared to other scooters.
2) Some of the little plastic covers come of very easily and he lost some of those.
3)The plastic covers from the battery charging ports come off every single ride
4) the front suspension is like non-existing. It has so little travel that you do not understand it's there.
Really great product! Would really love to try it in the future! Thanks for the review
the same scooter but called D4, and well built.. I ordered from Okidas and mine goes a Legit 40 mph which is as fast as I would ever need to go on one of these..
Omg its my dream scooter😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Which would u say is better zero 10 x or D4 +
Protective gear while i wear shorts with no knee pads but safety first
Don't forget your purse.
Jeff D yeah you can put your brain matter in there after ya crash.. no brain no headache.
Granted, I was also powered by sheets of whiskey, but I rode a lime scooter at about 12mph, took a stick to the eye, and after sailing a few feet, I landed like 90's Van Damme...
My body is not capable of Van Damme excellence (with, or without, Cocaine), so the resulting groin injury from unexpected splits left me mildly crippled for three months.
I hesitate to think I could handle much more speed.
Ye them sticks every were we need roads I always whacked my self became part of my scooter life
Nice scooter! Handles Well!Max speed 39MPH at 195LBS on a full charge!👍
I weigh 175 and I can hit 40 on a full charge. I've hit 41 before
how does this handle in the rain? like a NYC rain?
If this Scoot had 13inch front wheel and a 12inch rear wheel,it would be perfect 👍
Any thoughts on the D5+? I just ordered one and love your reviews.
How much was it?
Hey can you do a review on the Eonmotors Blade 10 electric scooter thanks
whats the name of this brand and how fast does it go in km/h? top speed?
i had the zero10x, 42mph, too dangerous on a daily basis in a city... but insane fun!
Very dangerous... very fun! :)
I know you reviewed both d4+ and d6+. Is the d6+ worth the extra price considering they both use 1k motors? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Does it gain energy by pulling the brakes while driving? Noticed something interesting. The next day, voltage rises and goes approximately back to the volt number you had the day before. In order to gain this energy, I drive 3 seconds with dual drive at start and then I use single drive till the motor adapts to road. (total voltage drop is 0.3 V). When starting with single drive, the voltage drops more at the end of the ride and you can hear the motor rotating a bit hard till gain the proper speed (drops about 0.8 V). Talking about same distance. Also, voltage drops 5 volts and rises again while driving, so be careful, because if you drive with 48 volts and use turbo mode and dual drive, your scooter will turn off and will not turn on until you charge it again (if drops to the default 43 volts). Hope that helps.
Wat kind of lock do u recommend for this scooter
Great video. What city is that? Looks like a nice place.
great video. this scooter looks like a beast. thanks
Thanks, it really is
You should try a dualtron ultra scooter it's a beast
I love it
Ben, would vote for the this over the Zero 9 scooter? Another great video! Love your reviews !!
Depends on how much road vs off-roading you'll do
Dumb question, but what back brace support are you using @ 3:00?
What’s the open face helmet you were using?
Can you buy two batteries and charge one to save if one dies?
Wow the motor 2000 wat 🥴 i wanna buy it now
how much weight of this scooter. we can carry in bus or train?
Can you review the Nanrobot X4 please?
Do you happen to know the difference between the D4+ and D5+ other than the bigger battery? Almost the same price ($1350 vs $1380). It seems like a lot more weight (58.5lbs vs 70lbs) for the battery life increase (rated max 40 miles vs 50 miles). Are there other differences I'm missing? Thanks.
Great question, and as I'm looking online, I think the D5+ doesn't have those off-roading tires (they look like road tires instead), and the rear fender looks different, less of an all-terrain reinforced design.
Awesome piece of technology
You should review the maike sgt Its the fastest electric scooter ever in production.
Ive owned this scooter for about 6 month's. 2 Key things they should change, 1 the handgrips are possibly the worst things i ever held onto. 2nd the front suspension should have an option for an upgrade. They are awful. Overall this thing is a monster!
Hi ...I love your videos...keep it up....I just want to ask for your help...I have a D4+ scooter...but it makes a clunking noise when I first use it..it seems to be coming from the controllers or hub motor...after about 1 mile it goes away....any idea of what it might be...thanks for your help...Adam
Hm I'm not sure, did you contact support?
Thoughts on q1 hummer?
Any thoughts on X4? When can you do a review on that? It has 8” solid tires that worries me but I have been waiting for Ninebot Max for last 3 months and would take X4 for same price.
Thanks in advance.
Don't get that one. t heard if you get a flat tire you have to get a whole new motor. I have the 2.0 and it's awesome
So, did you keep it?
Such a great video :) Is there a cruise control?
Yes, you can turn this on in the settings
@@AuthenTech Cool :) One more thing, how about heavy rain, how waterproof Nanrobot is?
How fast it goes in eco mode?
Nanrobot G4 or Cycleboard Rover? What do you think?
Just got my new Zero 9, 🥚-cited!!
Sweet, have fun, and be safe!
How do you like it so far? Are they zippy?
Charles N Freakin love it! But!! Got a flat :( and having a heck of a time removing the tire from the rim, but I’m determined to get it done ✅
Hi, I am searching for a electric scooter and looking at the nanrobot d5 plus. Is there any way you could tell me the difference between the d4+ and the d5+? Thanks😁
10 miles more for range, ~5 miles more for speed, 10 pounds more, has turn signals and an alarm, and only $35 more. Hope this helps 😊
Does the red stem lock always pop out while riding like it is in 80% of the riding clips in your vid? if so that's a major hazard!
For me, it needs to consider weight as well. I need to be able EASILY to lift it onto a train luggage rack. 15k max, preferably less than 12kg. I appreciate if people can do A to B on scooter they can use heavier scooters, but commonly they are last mile options. Really need up to 30km/hr as welll.
Can you please review the xiaomi mi m365?
What about security when it and about? How can you lock it up like a bike of you want to go into a shop etc?
It has a nice key feature, and I'm sure you can lock around the wheel maybe?
@@AuthenTech Video how to lock these babies would be useful
Why you do not show the battery compartment?
I love this scooter. Although I'd like scooters to be bigger/beefer ! How much does it cost ? Im def looking at e- scooters rather than e-bikes.. I'd like to see one longer, wider, higher .
Scale this up 3x for the frame and tires.
$1,350💰💸💸💸
Try the dualtron X
how much price in US Dollar. hw can i buy. online available?
kindly send me all details of this sccooter such as battery backup . wheel and motor etc,
Nice
it is my dream scooter but it is expensivee ohhh
Have you tried the dualtron thunder?
Dualtron X is a monster
Can you share where you got the body strap to add a pole to attach your 360 camera? Thanks!
From insta360.com
Man, I just got the rylo and I'm sending it back. Garbage editing and no way to edit the footage on a PC. 🙄
Do you know that all the nanrobot d4+ 2.0 upgraded version has a bug in the speedometer? When u set it as mph it actually shows kmph. So your speed is not mph. You can check it with a gps app like waze. So i do not know what u using to check your speed.
The speed was actually taken from a Pocket Speed Radar..
Lol, I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole video?
Live in a neighborhood where you can't have anything gas powered. This looks sweet.
No mini bikes go-karts quads side-by-sides. It sucks. Not liking it I can afford a $15,000 side-by-side. Lol
how about this vs the apollo ghost
price ???
How much is it?
