      I used code RETURN15 and got $100 off. First time buyer from ENGWE as well. Tested a ton of codes but after this code $100 off which was $449 no tax. A steal and I bet they will turn this code off soon

    I love your video ,this video is awesome thanks so much for sharing ,my birthday is next month and i was skeptical of this scooter I've never owned an electric scooter before last time i rode a scooter it was a manual one that lasted me 16 years so it would be cool if i got a scooter and again thanks for sharing this video i loved it.

    Thanks for the review, I just ordered it based on your experience with the range. I needed 60 km on flat road, the seller declares 70 km, so your 55 km in hills is a very good number. And I'm lighter too :) Thanks.
    BTW: 484 EUR here in Slovakia 05/2024

    Hey, Is the suspension good? Can you compare it to any other model?

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  23 дня назад +1

      For the price the suspension is pretty good, but it’s not amazing. It does a good job in taking care of small bumps and smoothing out the ride when you’re riding on dirt. I can’t think of another off road scooter that I’ve ridden that’s comparable.

    Nice review! I just have two question... how easy is it to repair a tyre puncture on it, and how is the customer support from engwe? I am confused between the y600 and the s6 at the moment. I have no experience with e-scooters. i am looking to buy one and this one seems convincing. The s6 has tubeless tyres which sounds better but the y600 seems to be better and cheaper overall. I wish they would give a tubeless option for the y600.

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  11 дней назад +2

      Having to replace the inner tube would be a little bit of a pain, but the tires are pretty thick so they should do a really good job from keeping you from getting flats. If you're worried about it though, you can always add Slime, which is a sealant to put in the tubes.
      Engwe is a pretty well known company, so I believe their customer support is good. I looked them up on Trustpilot and they get an 86% of 4 stars and above.
      Between the S6 and Y600, I think the Y600 is the far superior scooter. It is a bummer about no tubeless option, but I still get it over the S6. Good luck and let me know if you pick one up!

    on their eu website they say it's 10*4 inch tire, but how come you said 10*3 inch? and please provide any discount code for eu also, thanks

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  День назад

      I measured out the tire width and it is slightly bigger than 3". On the tire itself, it says the width is 80mm, which is around 3.15"; so I think that Engwe might have accidentally mislabeled the tire width on their website. I couldn't find anything online, so let me reach out to Engwe and see if they can give me a discount code for the EU. If I'm able to get one, I'll respond to this message with it. Thank you for the comment!

    Great video, I was in doubt between it and the engwee s6... the s6 is more expensive even though it has a weaker engine and battery, I didn't understand... I bought a scooter for my wife last week and I confess that I'm disappointed, on the website it even promises 40km of autonomy, but we're not even getting 20. Will I get 20 kilometers of autonomy in this engwee?

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  Месяц назад +3

      Between the two, I think the Y600 is the better scooter and you can get it for $550 with a discount code. I've never ridden a scooter that gets the advertised autonomy. But since this scooter gets an advertised 70km, there is no doubt in my mind that it would get more than 20km. In my range test I got 55km; but that is dependent on rider weight, terrain, weather, etc. But if you're looking for more than 20km, then don't worry the Y600 would be great. If you decide to buy, let me know how you like it! Thank you for the comment!

    I have y600 for few days buy maximum speed is 17mph any ideas how to unlcok the speed?

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  10 дней назад +1

      Mine already came unlocked. Assuming you're on speed level 3 and it won't go over 17mph I would reach out to Engwe, that is something that they should be able to fix or at least replace the scooter with one that is working correctly.

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  12 дней назад

      The battery is not removable. I'm sure someone with much more technical knowledge could change it out; but it's not designed to be removed easily. Thanks for the question!

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  12 дней назад

      @@mrflash4467 You'd have to ask Engwe how difficult it is to replace a battery and the cost. According to the manual, the battery has 500 charge cycles, which based on my testing is over 17,000 miles, assuming you ran the battery to almost the empty before you charged it. So I wouldn't worry too much about the battery dying.
