  • Join me for my in-depth review of the blazingly fast Ausom Gallop electric scooter! It's definitely the best bang for your buck for under $1,300!
    My in-depth electric scooter review will cover the features and specs, along with a test ride to see how one of the fastest budget electric scooters you can buy performs in the real world!
    The Ausom Gallop is known by some other branding including the Roadrunner RS5+ and the Kugoo Kirin G3 Pro. The Roadrunner RS5+ is more expensive than the Kugoo Kirin G3 Pro and the Ausom Gallop for some reason.
    🛴 What's Inside:
    Dual Motor Power: Experience the thrill of the dual 1200W motors on the Gallop as I test their real-world performance.
    Range Test: Does the Ausom Gallop live up to its impressive 55-mile range? I took it to the streets to find out.
    Speed Thrills: Witness as I push the Ausom Gallop to its 41 MPH top speed and share my honest thoughts.
    Tech Specs and Features: From its hydraulic disc brakes and 10" off-road tires to its innovative folding mechanism and all-round lighting system, I cover every aspect you need to know.
    Rider Experience: I talk about the ride quality and handling with its swingarm suspension and the practicality of its removable battery.

    Glad you're enjoying yours, it really is a nice scooter! I'm surprised to hear yours has a deadzone on the throttle, I was impressed that mine felt like it had absolutely none so I wonder if there is some variance or if they had a running change in software. Also, I'm impressed how information dense your presentation is, super informative while staying upbeat and fun.

      Hey, thanks so much for your comment! Yeah it's got a big one in the beginning but it's not a deal breaker. I have been wondering about my videos and if I should change some things but it sounds like you like them the way they are? I appreciate it friend!

    You test either the leopard or gallop in wet conditions??

    • @HobartsReviews
      @HobartsReviews  15 дней назад

      I tried not to but a few times I did get stuck in some Florida rain and had to ride home with wet roads and it did fine. The tires both of them come with are really knobby and sticky so they do it. Pretty good job with traction.

      Honestly my new favorite is my Varla Eagle One V2. The V3 is coming out soon. Next would be the Apollo Phantom v3. This Ausom Gallop is pretty nice as well. Especially for the price!

    • @HobartsReviews
      @HobartsReviews  8 месяцев назад +2

      Almost..... It's actually slower than the G3 Pro. My neighbor has one and I was surprised to see that when we ride together he can accelerate slightly faster than me and he can reach 43-44mph while I can reach around 37-38mph. We are both about the same weight so that's not a factor. Kind of bums me out because visually they are the same but performance wise a little different. Not sure why.

      @@HobartsReviews Hmmm that can't be. They both have the same spec. Is it some P settings? I'm looking at this one or the G3 Pro. BTW there's some disc brakes cleaner that you can use to possibly stop the squeaking.

    • @HobartsReviews
      @HobartsReviews  4 месяца назад +1

      I don't think so. You could probably fabricate something to work, but there's not bolt holes in the deck for you to use for strength like on other scooters. The lid is a thin piece of metal that comes off with a latch. But I have a neighbor who drilled through the lid and added a seat so I don't see why not. You would just have to find one that would work with this scooter as there's not one from the manufacturer.

    There's definitely absolutely no stable riding position on these things because center of mass is stupidly low and all frame non
    imu algorithms controlled dynamics happens way faster than all humans could ever wish to react. You're definitely going to flop these things when you least expect it because these things are far from being totally a Smart computer controlled scate board on wheels with a single stem at one end, plus the upper torso totally missed out on the butterscotch, Bahama yellow of this thing your more orange than tangerine better luck next time or simply dawn any color So I don't notice the amateur fail.

    I can definitely see confirmed water moisture barometer pressure seep into the Non water proof toy like pop open deck hood, Just like a house with poor easdroffs water damage is going on constantly and this poor stupidly
    rushed hood design is the exact same zero tight hood. Water always finds the point of least resistance and you'll be crying when you suddenly stall in the middle of the rat race intersection.

    Simple Squeaky hydraulic disc brakes is a confirmed sign of definitely poor bedded in pads and rotors, abused by grunt amatures and glazed up to the point of completely ruined and will never bed in properly, Basically the same as the ice break in when not if it's done wrong, such as lugging a either cold or hot engine , over rev, missed shifts past red line that engine is always guttless and will never have the power & reliability as a proper break in like not listening to the manufacturer's recommended first oil change and simply getting rid of that contaminated oil at 500 miles & pouring in fresh non contaminated dinosaur fossils to help the rotating assembly bed in properly. But yay this is super easy to diagnose immediately especially on a fresh out of the box machine completely garbage brakes and simply need to replaced with both rotor and pads and fresh mineral hydraulic brake fluid. Simple squeaky brakes are a gearheads most desired sound. The super dooper sound of eeeeee coming from the wheels means a mechanically inclined individual gets to play, play, play. You get to take it apart. See how it works. Make some custom parts in your workshop. Fix it all.
