- Every month, we bring you Desi Crimewatch, but this month, we have the experts from the Metropolitan Police to provide their insights.
Sergeant Navdeep Verma and DC Jasmine Kaur from the Metropolitan Police will be joining us to discuss crucial topics like domestic abuse, child abuse, and the troubling issue prevalent within the Asian community, such as honour killings.
Join us for real-life safeguarding strategies this Friday only on Legal Solutions- Sky Channel 711 and Harjap Bhangal RUclips channel.
You are judged forever by everyone in the community for an unwanted child ? As if it's a child's fault to be born ? Why judge or blame the child ? Relatives are the worst culprits in judging. Hats off to you guys for high lighting and bringing it to the public.
The family and cultural structures all play a role in keeping these issues hidden. This affects children sense of safety and creates vicarious trauma and this affects their adult relationships later in life. Abuse is physical, mental, emotional, sexual and neglect.
Jiunda reh Harjap really very important talk and true communication
Mother endured extreme violence from father, beatings , black and blue eyes, she wasn't allowed out, she couldn't spend, wear, or eat , couldn't watch the TV programme of her choice? Divided and ruled, controlling her every move , all this happened in front of the kids , unfortunately all this does affect the kids.
You are providing very valuable information and education/guidance to our community. Please keep up the great work. Love your sense of humour too !
Very Very good program harjap you 💯 right ❤❤
Very good 👍
Good work good work I’m so happy you talked about it !!!! Some people will really find it disturbing 😂 but bhout bhout vadya Paji 😊
I was abandoned at birth because I was a girl? left with a loving disabled Masi as 2 months old baby, both aunt and uncle passed away by the time I was 12 years old, and left with mum's cousins who only wanted the land but not me, joined biological parents at age 19 years, who didn't want me? Father tried to kill me by strangulation, luckily I had my wits about to confront and move out within 6 months of arriving in the UK, unfortunately in those days domestic violence wasn't on top of the agenda, I am still at a loss , my inheritance still unsolved, leave all the relatives behind especially with narrow mindsets. They never own up to their own wrong doings? Relatives never come forward to assist in any way or form.
You have had an extremely tough time throughout your life.I am really sorry to hear that life hasn't gone in your favour rite now however I pray insh a Allah that your life changes for the best.If If you ever need somebody to reach out to for advice insh a Allah as a brother I can try and help as much as I can .Good Luck
Super 👍
I was a victim of Domestic violence, via the hands of my husband who was a well respected police officer. I suffered a lot by him & family.I didn't tell my parents at the start but when it got to much,I rang my parents, that if you don't come & get me, then I will end my life.
I was meant to take him to court ,was preparing a fact finding hearing, evidence but due to my mentaI state at the time,I was very drained.
At he end I dropped the case,it was just to much for me.
I am now in a better place & happy.
My ex I heard was sacked from the force on another matter.I guess they saw his true colours .
❤
We always think of the community first? We ignore what's happening in front of our own eyes in our home , unfortunately it's a hidden crime in our own homes, we need to look out for each other in the community, stop being the judge, jury and executioners.
Nice to see you all guys officer thx very much
Our community needs to wake up & deal with issues, dv is not acceptable!!
And sexual abuse is another area ,that no one ever wants to discuss...

Harjap bhaiji investigate n bring to light to the public about the 2 murders in leicester. 1 being a son killed his mum absolutely disgusting the poor mum didnt deserve that. The other a kutchi murdered a girl. Both in leicester within this month May.
Harjaps a immergration lawyer. I'd leave the investigation to the police. And once the alleged murderers are brought to court and convinced, then and only then he may bring this to the public view via his channel. No need in sensationalize to get the swaad before hand. Be patient.
