@@lisarenaeroberts1698good guess. I realized how cold it was and brought it inside. It was already done for. Not giving the long explanation again though.
I’ve seen two baby mountain lions scream at each other. From less than a foot away. Your ears can barely pick anything up. But they look like they’re in a heated debate. Even tho all you hear is a very quiet EEEooo. You just wanna heckle them for how bad they both aren’t. Pretty much the only thing I can think of that comes close to most precious thing ever. 😄 that and those videos where a newborn gets cochlear implants and is big-smiling cuz they’re hearing their parents voices for the first time.
I have 5 jack rabbits I raised after their ma lost an argument with the neighbors dog. They acted that way. They seemed to know we were on their team. Day one they cuddled up to us. Now as adults they avoid coyotes by sticking close to our dogs house, which they use as home base. I've always felt it's an honor when children and animals seek ones company.
@Kristopher Prime they're not buddies or anything, but the dogs don't chase them and the rabbits know it. Sometimes they lay within sight of each other.
Well it has to get sustenance from something nutricious. It can't starve. But it is so precious, tiny and darling, so keep that baby warm with a blanket for it to comfort and snuggle in.❤❤❤❤❤❤
I remember walking to the store, I had to stop to take a break, and sat in a field next to the parking lot. This big, wild rabbit just hopped across the field and let me pet it. I sat there for a while watching it eat. I thought maybe I could pick it up, that maybe it needed help, but it kicked the hell out of me, so I put it back down. After that, it let me keep petting it. Weird experience.
Thank you for doing your best to take care of the baby bunny. I found an adult bunny frozen in the snow over the winter and I thought it was dead until I brought it in and while I was putting it in the trash bag, it started to kick, so I brought it inside wrapped in some towels and put it in the dog crate the dog was not in it. we offered it some warm water as well as some finally the vegetables and rodent food, but the most that happened as it would look around. It lasted about 10 hours before passing away while we’re all asleep. Making a cold rabbit comfortable before it goes is really all you can do.
unfortunately you probably made its death worse, it was likely frozen and unconscious and would have passed faster in the snow but you woke it up and made it suffer through death for 10 extra hours.

@@hakimdiwan5101 Eh, I mean a wild rabbit is usually pretty chill (this one is most likely a rabbit, not a hare), but a jackrabbit, even a juvenile like this one, can in fact box you a couple of painful shots if they don't like what you're doing. When I was volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation clinic, we'd get baby jackrabbits in all the time, and I'd get some pretty nasty scratches from the ones who decided that they didn't want to be touched, and went itty-bitty Floyd Mayweather on my hands.
This baby is around 10-12 days old. It may still need mothers milk. You may have to syringe feed it. Ask your vet for some cat kitten milk and a neonatal feeding kit. Baby will need to be fed every 4 hours max and approximately 15-25ml each feed. Keep it warm. It needs extra care if it is to survive. Best of luck. Kate (Vet Nurse)
I recommend you get some mats for the bottom of your cage. Contrary to popular belief that wire is not good for their feet. Their entire foot should be standing on something to allow their weight to be spread out.
@@daviddoucette8916 exactly. the baby rabbit should be put INDOORS, in a very warm temperature and should be fed with special milk solution for baby rabbits or baby kittens at least, using a syringe. the baby should be taken care of 24/7 for at least 2 months. or the person who found it should call wild animal shelter services, they'd know how to help the baby.

@@kasper7574Most furred animals can take care of themselves in cold weather much better than humans. This guy did it correctly from all appearances. The hutch is off the ground, sheltered from wind rain and snow because it’s almost entirely enclosed and includes material that they can burrow into. This rabbit is much more likely to live a longer and more comfortable life especially because he’s alone. If they opt to eat rabbit after raising them they are farm or country folk. That is how they live. The farm to table usually means locally grown animals.
One of our cats roughed up a cottontail kit, like that one, and then brought it through the cat door into our kitchen. After seeing it, our chihuahua became very defensive and protected it from the cats, barking his head off. So we found the little guy, bleeding on the floor, and we took him to the vet. To make a long story short, he survived but had to have a bunch stitches, so we named him Stitches. We tried to release him but he had become too domesticated and reliant on us, which was our fault because we handled him too much, but he's done very well with us.
Isn't it? A little sweetie.
i know me too! as soon as it snuggled up to the bunny i couldn’t help let out the most enthusiastic AWWWWEE LOL
Damn I got the quote. 🫣
You can get it for $14 so I am cent percent confident that it’s not the most precious thing you have ever seen.

Except this old moron let the bunny die of hypothermia.
