That truck is in great condition by Northeast standards, everything here is rotten away frame, bodies everything. You guys out west have it made with finding rust free vehicles.
Oh come on Matt you gotta love them painted lead battery top post terminals from the local gas station and Walmart lol,, I swap all of the ones I get out with the heavy duty $6.49 a piece thick lead top post battery terminals from Napa and i have never had a problem with them, those cheap painted ones i have twisted ones, bent, cracked and even one's that are split
Wow, you are good at finding bumpsides! I found a very rusty 67 f250 2wd, factory grill guard, cargo light and add on box hoist with title for free. My buddy found a 70 f100 302 auto, complete professional restore and parked in a barn over 22 years ago the day it got painted. It's been a few years but I replaced the forward cab mounts on a 70, didn't seem like too bad of a job.
I’m going to have a hard time putting a price on them since I haven’t got one finished and to the market but Im willing to talk and see if we can work something out. Email me (email in description on this video) and we can get in touch.
Are you referring to the trim down the side of the truck? No crew cabs ever came with body trim. Any crew cab trucks you see that have it were modified to fit the crew cab.
@@fightinggator4398 yeah I’ve seen it. Chrome down the bump was made to fit the b pillar and rear door. There isn’t any factory crew cab chrome trim. You have to make it for the b pillar and rear door out of regular cab stuff.
Hy matt I’m looking at a 69 f100 has some rust 240 i6 3speed zero option no power anything or radio. Fenders bad and a pillars but everything else good. Seat like new 65k mile for $1500 is that worth it

Nice find Matt! 🙂👍 That truck will make a good frame donor for the 2wd rig. I hope you're having a great weekend. Take care
Wow that's a nice find!, good for you!.
Thanks!
This is gold. High boy buying fool. Love it.
😂 glad you enjoy it!
the bracket that you are questioning is part of a factory fe a/c bracket there is another part that bolts to the left head hope that helps

Very cool!
Hahahaha, my highboy has the monster matching steel bumpers with the drop.
Nice!!
Nice truck. Is that a newer bed??
Nevermind. You covered the bed. Lol.
@@diyjeff1838 yup!
Great find! Had a question regarding a vin. Is it still a highboy if it has the 6300 gvw F263 on the vin?
Yes there were several difference GVW packages on them. F26 is the important part. It can be f28 as well if it was a chassis cab 4wd.
I’m still interested in buying one of your restoration trucks. Let me know how we can work something out.

wouldnt consider trading the 71 highboy would you.thanks

I really just need to sell it at this time.
I'm trying to find bump chrome for a crew cab long bed, any ideas?

@@MattKubik1791 have you ever seen gold dust on Ford ERA RUclips channel? It has all the chrome, bump, rockers and fenders

@@MattKubik1791 I gotcha, no wonder it's so hard to find

It’s hard for me to say without being there and seeing the truck. But if it’s usable stuff then yeah $1500 is a great deal.
