Bah. Nothing beats the victory strike I found in the workshop: Tigers From the Sky. Upon victory, 30 Tiger Ace gets airdropped right into the enemy base while 30 regular Tigers roll in from the map edge. _"Joy to the world, Tigers are coming!"_
@@Crusadio yeah, so true for the Might of the Air Force, I can't see any might at all. Consider the following: this strike consists of 8 British four-engine heavy bombers, this can be seen in certain modifications (Hence, in the redactor). The size of dropped bombs and their explosions parameters suggests these are 250 LB (113,4 kg) bombs - they are a bit more powerful than those dropped by IL-2, and IL-2 generally carried either 4x50 kg or 4x100 kg bombs. Looking at the bombers' silhouettes, you may guess they are of one of three types - Avro Lancaster, Handley Page Halifax or Short Stirling (Avro Lincoln's wings are too long). Each plane could carry 14, 15 and 27 250 LB bombs respectively. But that wasn't their only possible armament - instead, each pylon could carry a 500 LB (227 kg) bomb, which exploded with a force of Ju-87 Stuka's standard 250 kg bomb (Their main armament in the first years of Blitzkrieg, capable of blowing up heavy defences of Maginot line, French Heavy tanks, British Matildas and Churchills, Soviet T-34 and KV-1 and so one, but they could also carry even more powerful 500 kg and 1000 kg bombs). Furthemore, all three RAF planes could carry 1000 LB bombs, while some Lancasters would be later equipped with much heavier ones to deal with German dams, underground bunkers and submarine bases, up to a single seismic 12000 LB Tallboy bomb, which would reach supersonic speed during its fall, pierce ground and then explode with a horrific power, turning German underground structrures into ashes, covered in meat and blood. That one could be a separate victory strike, but then it comes for the Might of the Air Force, a question arises: why does it look so unnatural? 8 bombers drop as many bombs as 1-2 of them can carry, and these are so weak that some might think they're 100 LB actually. Also, considering the bombs' dispersion and how soon they fall, it looks like the bombers fly very close to the ground, no higher than 1 km, which is actually 100% suicidal for large aircrafts, a one-eyed anty-aircraft gunner would shoot them in no time. Wouldn't it look cooler, and corresponding to the strike's name, if a single Lancaster just dropped a full payload of 1000 LB bombs from 5 km or higher altitude, with bombs falling randomly in a circle around the HQ building, but dealing colossal damage, destroying the heaviest tanks in one hit and production structures in a couple?
@@МОЩЬ32СТВОЛОВ I remembered that the might of the air force/air supremacy operation was nerfed, about 3-4 years ago it lived up to its name, the bombs were truly powerful and massive like it's meant to be.
@@Crusadio I was thinking on making a colab with the community (maybe on reddit?) but never got to do it lol Good thing I didn't. Your edit was very good and consistent
Half the strikes look weak, should those be Stuka bombardments (Stuka Fragmentation Airstrike does literally nothing if there's no infantry or light vehicles nearby!), Katyushas or 105mm howitzers, and I can't undesrtand why. This couldn't have been done for the sake of optimization on slow computers, just look at Sturmtiger Saturation and Walking Stuka Barrage, or even Fear Propaganda Artillery, they must burden videocards to bigger extent. In this case, why won't they add more artillery shells/132mm rockets, or attacking planes? P.S. I would like to see a small tactical nuclear strike as well, destroting the whole base and later depleting hp of all units on a map as an effect of radiation :D All factions were working on nuclear weapons at that time, and the game isn't considered historically accurate after all.
Indeed, i also thought of something different after i read the names. Some of the victory strikes could defently be improved. I like your nuclear strike idea. In the game are also some prototype units. And as long as there can somehow explain it i see no problem adding it. The victory strikes come after wining anyway so no balance Problems as well.
Fear propaganda is the best. Its basically the glorious union dropping thousands of papers remind you Soviet Power Supreme and who won the battle of Moscow and Berlin.
Thx for making this video. I don't wanna regret buying victory strikes from the store
Im happy that i could help you! This was one of the reasons why i made this. I made some miss buys myself from wrong expectations.

Might buy this just to laugh everytime I get a victory
"MASSIVE CREEPING BARRAGE"

No, it's just that the rest of the creeping barrage landed in different games
Haha yeah, some victory strikes sounds more awesome then they look. ^^

Now prepare for my final move... PAPER!

Might of the Air force is powerful 😂
So happy I got it from a crate.
Once u lose u have directly a lag😂
I wish there was a mod to remove the 'flavour text' descriptions.
