We get emotional every time and ask for a manager to be sacked. We get short-term fixes, start losing games, fire the coach, and start all over. That's not sustainable. Yes, it was a disgrace to lose in that manner to Liverpool but we have to remember that this is a project that needs to be evolving organically. Trust me, if we fire Poch and hire a new manager, next season, we will come back here to watch another video linking us to a new manager. Even we don't like Poch, he is not a novice about football to realize that it is a result-oriented sports. He is also aware of the fact that Chelsea fans will push him to be better and win trophies. That is what we are known for. He also has a CV and name to protect. So let's support him and the boys

It’s not emotional to want Poch sacked. He’s ruining all the talent we have in the squad. Every game poor in-game management, and no tactical plan whatsoever. De Zerbi would do bits with these players. Poch should never manage a big club again.

    • @Dotphil01
      @Dotphil01 3 месяца назад +5

@andreaspapadopoulos5840 I do criticize his game management a lot. He makes unnecessary substitutions and wrong timing too. But why would our subs like Mudryk, Nkunku, Trevor not perform against kids. We should ask questions to who is buying these guys, definitely not the coach based on what we have heard and read. It's not a bad thing to demand more, infact we need to keep doing that but Chelsea's situation is complicated. Not every coach will work here. Even De Zerbi might fail. The management strategy on how they bring in players has to change. The coach that would be held reposible for their performance must have a say on who comes to the club

Don't tell me he can't work with youth -- Chelsea in 2004 had an average age the same as it is now. And Jose took kids from Roma's academy and was sucessful.
He just got Roma their first trophy for 14 years, and was a kick away from winning the Europa League. All with a low transfer budget with a team that hadn't won in Europe for 61 years.

Even though Chelsea lost the carabao cup, it is noticeable an improvement of the team. This project needs time which includes months or years of not competing for everything as we’re used to. And how they never back managers is a real concern. I still believe Poch can do something. For me, pochettino isn't the main problem. The main problem would be the club nd the sporting directors. Their actions say it is a project with their buying but they also are giving briefs of Europe leagues finishes which is really confusing. Also not giving managers time.

But sacking poch now is not gonna help us, let us give him to end of this season and pray we don't get relegated and if things doesn't improve, Then whe the leauge ends, get a new coach. We should be hiring managers that has what it means to win trophies, I know Mourinho isn't the coach he used to be, but if the season ends and things doesn't improve, I will Mourinho any day instead of poch, Poch seems to me as someone that can perform well in German football league.

A swap deal involving either Kepa or Sanchez for Diogo Costa will be a great way to start, another amazing deal will be getting Gyokeres. And for the Wingback, first let him see how good or bad or rather how fitting Maatsen is to his tactics before going after any signing.

Why I might think we might not go for him because of patience. Cultural appropriation matters as well, so doubts that creep in will eventually lead to less patience among fans. Knowing the consortium, customer feedback matters, so they are prone and sensitive to criticism. Because they know customers are number 1, and they are in the project for long term profit. As they will have to show shareholders that the project is worth the equity invested

Ruben Amorin would be world-class in the Chelsea team. What he is doing in Sporting Lisbon is borderline impossible. He had empty-out youth academy because of the attack on players a few years ago, a squad devoid of talented and only with lacklustre players. In one year we used "the kids" to win a championship against a Benfica team with more talent under a Portuguese legend (Jorge Jesus) and won against FC Porto champions under a veteran (Sergio conceição) and very good Porto team. Until then we have been surviving while competing always at a disadvantage, losing the most important players. This year, he is competing again for 1 place using talented young players, youth and Viktor Gyökeres. From developing our players and creating philosophy with youth there isn't probably a better manager. Your tactical review was perfect and very accurate. I don't think we would do the same in Chelsea, we do to survive in the league where is the third worst, at Chelsea we would see his tactical genius.

Naah, this whole manager talk cannot be had now. Let's give Poch time. Despite the mistakes the leadership has made, one thing we can't do is go back to the hiring and firing approach, aren't y'all tired of that?
And since we are comparing anything and everything, do you remember where Arsenal were with Arteta in his first season? It took a while even for their fans to start seeing a project being molded and by the second season they were fully behind Arteta. Can't we do the same with Poch? The only reservation I had with Poch was that to me he was a 'nearly' manager as he often failed at most final hurdles but we can't take away his coaching ability. I still believe he will make this team tick. Poch is still important in this project. This young team needs stability not change every now and again.

Ima stress ON PAPER this looks good. I believe Palhinha is someone that is greatly needed to balance the midfield, also he played under Amorim. I mean in attack with Maatsen and Reece pushing high, Enzo can just sit in the middle and quarterback everything while not having to worry about defending as Palhinha is there behind him. People don't realize how much of a difference that a proper DM makes.

Let this man go because it seems he doesn't look properly before making changes , how on earth will you pull out Gallagher in an intense game like that of Liverpool even if he was missing chances , the only midfield enforcer on the field .. mourinho will never make such mistake in a final ... Poche looks lost

Gallagher and sterling shouldn't have been substituted , sterling can be crap but he's runs destabilises any defense and moreover can score goals... Poch needs to grow up ,same mistakes he makes at Tottenham ,you need to think of now and tomorrow will take care of itself, it's a final for God sake ,what's more annoying is we played an inexperience midfield and yet they dominated us immediately Gallagher left that pitch

This owners of this club need to be kept out of the decision making process with managerial selection. Amorim has been coaching in his home country since 2020. He is not 40 years old yet. We need to hire a CL Winner & preferably someone that has won the league in at least 1 of the big 4 leagues. We need to stop going for style. We can fix style after we fix how not to lose. This is Chelsea, it's not Brighton. We tried this before - Villas Boas. Didnt work out.

I am not too comfortable with the current structure of our darling Chelsea as there's no leadership in the team. This youths are just bunch of guy men that have no Idea of playing for Chelsea. Porch has lost the dressing room as he has no control over this lads.
Enzo does what pleases him on the pitch, when we are on the defensive most of this guy's just stroll back to our half. We only have few dedicated players that have the interest of the club and fans, players like Galagar, and Cole

If the owners actually back him properly in the summer with a prolific striker and maybe a few more key players with more experience I am sure we will improve massively under Poch.
We create more than enough chances. We need a finisher.

I like Ruben Amorim because in addition to his tactical prowess and mentality he appears to also be a teacher type manager. We also have the right players for his system. Tuchel and Boehly were never gonna work. Potter was a ridiculous choice, especially on a 5 year contract. Poch was too safe of a choice. I personally think Amorim would be a very smart choice. We need someone with fresh new ideas, and a winning mentality. Amorim has won several things with Sporting already.

No. I don't want Amorim. I don't want 3 at the back. It's too inflexible after other teams adapt. I don't believe we need a squad overhaul. I trust in the boys we have now. Every single one of them is potentially world class. Amorim will lose a few important games and the fanbase will call for his head again and the cycle continues. Stick with Poch. We've been bad in some games but in the games we are good, we are really good. Next season is when everything will come together. If it still doesn't, then I will say Poch should go but for now, lets keep going.
    Lets believe in our club!

All I have to say is look at preseason when we had a majority of our players. How were they playing, how good was the football that we were playing? It was good enough for the whole fanbase to get riled up and think we would be up there. But since then what has happened? Injuries, and many injuries which has not helped.
Yes, in some situations Poch has not helped himself with some decisions, but till date he has been working with what he has got. That’s all he can do. Expecting any more than that is quite literally insanity as it means that you are not looking at reality.
Football is about winning and lifting trophies but if the foundation is not there to do so, then there will be no wins or lifting of trophies.
It’s like building a house from scratch, and you are at foundation part, but you are asking the builders why there is no roof. It makes no sense. That’s this fanbase. It’s quite sad. For me, I’m Chelsea do or die. Win or lose I will rep my team. I know we are building and have the patience for it.
