If we're going to get Amorim we may as well go back for Tuchel. I think you are thinking about this in slightly the wrong way. Whoever we employ has to get above both Spurs, Aston Villa and Newcastle. We have to be able to beat the high press style of Spurs and the methodical styles of the other two. I f we go to playing three at the back, the sacrifice will be Gallagher. Gallagher is a destroyer of positionally based systems. If he goes to Spurs we are all doomed. His game is so perfect for them. Poch has proved that his more nuanced approach can beat all three of them. I think we just have to leave things alone. Our young squad will improve. It's Poch for me.
You've persuaded me on De Zerbi. I live the sound of his coaching style.plus, as you said, he knows the league. I don't think we'll get Amorin. Also i saw something on the Athletic saying Amorim's style wouldn't translate to England.

Are our tools better than Brighton? Some of our players came from Brighton. 😅 I do think de Zerbi is a great developmental coach and plays good football. I just dont know if he can compete for the Premier league and i think thats our goal. I want the board to make sure the next manager is going to have us fighting for the league. Arsenal, Man city and Liverpool have very solid squads. Just my opinion.
What frustrates me about chelsea fan content creators is they are willing go deep about the next manager, next striker, how we can build our midfield, using stats and metrics, but not one has gone deep about our defence, is it because it doesn’t bring views? Has to be De Zerbi, our squad is packed with technical players that would suit more of a JDP style coach. We need to be logical look at the top teams in the league Liverpool, Arsenal and City. Think about the type of football they play. We won’t get near the title with a transitional style of play
These owners don't learn from their mistakes. Not De Zerbi, his CV is weak and hasn't won any major trophies. I don't care how well he is doing at Brighton but Chelsea is not Brighton. Get an elite manager or else Chelsea will not see any trophy for the next coming few years.
The bias in your analysis of Amorim is crazy you said Enzo and Caicedo will do well in a midfield duo where they have to cover a lot of space, isn’t that what we’re saying is wrong with Pochs system and in pochs system they even have Gallagher dropping deep to help at times

I hope you would be able to defend these managers when they come to Chelsea and our struggle continues for a season? Now poch is clueless. But a very keen look would allow one to see that our position is not because of our coach but bad club management especially with signing of players. Whatever poch has done, he has got us to creating loads of chances but the players can't take enough of them. Our problem is that we bought talented players who do not know what it means to play in a big team like Chelsea. We give them the job of being the future and the present. Even though they are good players, they are not matured enough to get us where we need to be and the experienced ones fail often. Cole Palmer as good as he has been shouldn't be Chelsea's best player and someone we rely on. So as Jackson and Enzo, it's too much weight. Can Pep use Enzo, Caicedo and Gallagher as his midfield three with his other players and be able to remain as competitive as they are? We wouldn't have been talking about a new manager if Chelsea had beaten five of those teams we clearly outplayed but couldn't win because of missed chances. I don't like poch that much but he is good enough to get this project to where we will now need a winner to win trophies back to back. Even if we change mangers, we must pass through this process to become a formidable team for the long term. The only thing we can achieve by changing mangers is win a trophy and slump as we have done before. But that's not what we want with this new ownership.
