Now you guys see how Jackson have developed nicely this season. Yeah he might cost us 3 point against palace but he's certainly the winner of the match here He's good man, just 20+ years of age, cost peanuts and this season only he already scored 4. He's gonna come good plus he already built some chemistry with the current batch of players so no need to adjust to the current environment if new players coming in
First season Drogs, I was aghast at how poor he was, then became the legend. First season I was meh how average Nico was, now begins the next legend...
I realise Noni has a high ceiling, but I currently do feel he has far too many selfish moments in matches. Hoping for Neto to come into form soon to get to the first 11 with Noni being our explosive sub.
Agreed! Should have been 5-0 if Noni wasn't trying hard to be a Sterling incarnate. Three v one and he chooses to shoot at the goalie. He has to ride the bench the next game as he's been poor two games in a row. The coach has to sit him down and explain to him what being part of a team means. You don't always have to score. Winning is more important.
I’m seeing lots of people talk down Enzo’s game, can’t you lot see the difference between last game and this one??? Enzo is what made the difference! his partnership with Caicedo makes both of them play batter and makes the team win the midfield. Stop the unjustified Enzo hate, let’s give him his flowers!
West Ham were running on 0.5x speed. The whole game was in slow motion but West Ham was especially slow. Enzo looked a bit disinterested in the game but he was still alright and if playing alright is the worst performance of all our starters we're sitting pretty good. Backline was solid. Tosin looks really comfortable. Good to see that we have at least 3 good CBs for this system. Palmer looked tired but I'm worried about how often he's getting fouled these days. Was really glad to see him come off; he deserves a break and we got Felix on hand anyway. Sancho didn't quite play as well as he did against palace but he had a good game and he clearly is out first choice LW going forward. Jackson was brilliant. Osimhen who? Neto I was really disappointed with to not see him on the right. Being 3-0 up in the second half was a perfect opportunity to put him on RW for once. Especially since Noni didn't have the biggest impact anyway. I'm really worried about Neto because he still isn't performing well if you ask me and him suddenly being really good when on RW is about the only hope I have right now. Felix was good in his attempts on goal but he isn't involved in the game much besides that. I hope that improves. It's good to sit in top 4. Even if just for a while.
🕺🏼🇸🇳 Four goals, one assist in opening five Premier League games for Nicolas Jackson this season! …while he was doing some Michael Jackson Thriller dance moves ✨
I wanted to see Nkunku start, but I’m here to give Jackson his 💐. The runs and the way he carried the ball are what makes him such a potential filled striker. The finishing lets him down, but today he made the most of the chances. Maybe the first goal was a bit lucky, but the second was taken with class. So happy for the clean sheet, the midfield did well enough, and we are in a place in the table we haven’t done for TIME. Blue is the color.
I found it ironic they were outraged: Sancho, Madueke, Palmer and Neto were all held in the box. If Fofana had yanked him down, that would be one thing. But he was holding his wrist then let go entering the box, and he started to make a meal of it when it was obvious he was going to lose the ball.
I’m not sure about Foddana speed, fast ??? He’s always behind and try to foul players and they are gone, his position is not great as well. We need this guy to improve, against better team it will be hard to keep clean sheets with him being soo weak
Iv been saying it since early last season, people are sleeping on Jackson massively. The fact that he was coming from America, traditionally US players don’t do well in Europe or at Chelsea, and he was consistently good from the get go, during a time when Chelsea was in turmoil for me was a massive indicator as to the type of player he would be for us.
@@dukecrawford2522my bad mate I fully thought he was from USA, the surnames fault 🤣 The rest I stand by though for such a young player he showed a lot of composure.
I think Fofana started pulling him outside the penalty box, so it would have been a foul but they already had a foul close to the penalty box, so I think the ref didn't bother going back
Fofana, no impressive again, The more I see Caicedo the more I bilieve we pay exactly why he’s worth, An incredible performance and also leading with his hand on several times if you watch the match carefully you can see how involved he was
Tosin does precisely 1.4 ill-advised passes out of the back, potentially dangerous, per game, but is otherwise excellent and less of a yo-yo than Fofana. I'd start him as Fofana continues to develop not only full PL fitness, but also the required mental solidity (his mental age is lower than his actual age due to being on the sidelines so much).
The Thriller NJ15 was awesome today. He’s making a lot of people eat their words!!!! Caicedo was superb… he’s having a great run of games! Cucurella is a showing why we bought him from Brighton for that price tag! His work rate is unmatched since last 5 games last season! Tosin and Colwill were impressive! He needs to step it up… Fofana and Enzo were our weakest players today. Disasi came on and looked better at RB
@curtarnolds still, he's got the class to deal with that. He better get used to it too, because it looks like most teams we've played so far have been targeting him. They know that if they keep him quiet, it can really affect the team.
@curtarnolds Agreed. Think Neto needs to start and Sancho comes on as an impact sub. If Sancho starts like he did today and doesn't get involved straight away, he seems to just fade away, but that game against Wolves, when he came on as a sub he was incredible.
I still think we need to figure out what to do with Felix and Nkunku, that's too much talent to be coming off the bench. But Jackson and Palmer are making it hard, and more power to them.
Were finally back it's been a long few seasons where we haven't been good, but the wait I feel is over. The whole team played well and we are 2nd in the league with the penalty incident the foul started outside the box so it should of a free kick and a yellow for Fofana.
Great performance but Madueke needs to be more aware and we could have scored a couple more if he had just looked up. Taking that shot on just before Palmer came off was not a clever play. Palmer was free just inside the box. Against Park the Bus Teams, could we put Palmer and Nkunku (instead of Enzo) both as Ams and have Caicedo covering the mid?
