Ha ha 😂 She eats everything she finds nothing seems to stop her 🐶😊 Thanks and yes you make a very good point, long walks will from now on have multiple pub stops, very good idea 😂👍 Hope you have a fantastically bank holiday x
Oh thank you Lynda they both look excellent and just our kind of thing 🥰 had a quick Google of the pub menu, looks very nice indeed, we shall return 👍😃
Thank you both, hope you had a nice weekend and have plans for the bank holiday 😁👍 Tyler would love it here, as you say perfect for dogs so many trails and scents to follow 🐶🥰
I'm tempted by the Blackshaw Moor site (although as yet I haven't got a camper van), and also tempted by the Cherry Gin (although as yet I only have the glass). Another great video; I know that because my fish and chips got cold ... I was concentrating on your video rather than eating! Really looking forward to next Friday, when I will definitely eat my tea before watching your next episode.
Ha ha 😂 Sorry Roger we hope they were still tasty, can't beat great fish and chips 😁👍 The cherry gin was very good but also they had Cherry Porter beer which was similar to the plum porter but slightly more subtle, highly recommended if you are up that way or see Titanic Brewery in your local supermarket 😁 Have a lovely weekend and thanks as always for watching 🥰
@@VantasticAdventures Drowning in a vat of Cherry Gin (with ice of course) at the Titanic Brewery .... the perfect way to go! Will definitely try to source the Gin.
Another lovely video. Glad to have you back with us after Ian’s very sad loss, I share his pain as I lost a father 2 years ago, I am fortunate as I have 2 dads!! I love the end shot of your van as we have an autotrail expedition 67 with a pop top due in September, seeing your gets me all excited!!! That was a hike you all went up, Molly made me laugh, sat above you on a rock just laughing at you both struggling up, she’s lucky as she had 4wd!!! Great to see you all having fun and looking forward to your next video. Take care, luv Carl, Jackie and our little yorkie Daisy xx
Aw thank you that's very kind, yes making the videos and traveling again has been a welcome distraction 🥰 Also glad you noticed the shot of the van, trying to add this to each video just as part of the close to allow time to let people see the next recommended video without blocking the end of our video, as long as we remember each time 😂 Bet you can't wait September isn't too long now, you will both have great fun and Daisy too 😁👍
Hi Iain and Caroline, we have been following your excellent vlogs since you went to France as we are going this year. Inspired by your Peak District trip we have just completed the Tittesworth Water Reservoir trail(funny Caroline can't say it without giggling 😅). Even found the Roebuck Hotel in Leek. Great beer, and result on takeaways, £3 a bottle or 6 for £11.95. Keep vlogging guys, we love your enthusiasm.
Aw love that thank you so much for letting us know 🥰 didn't realise they did takeaway that's a great idea 😂 We are back off to Europe later this year so hopefully can more places to share 😀
Aw it's so lovely isn't it, really surprised us, we needed somewhere relatively local for weekend and it was a great site and location for exploring 😁 Thanks Gill, have a lovely weekend 🥰
Hi Ian and Carolin love the Roaches and Leek very local to us, did you see any Wallabies I worked our German Wirehaird Pointer Molly many times over the Roaches Grouse counting and saw the Wallabies was a few years back though loved the vid 👍🏻
Oh wow that's sounds brilliant! Would love to explore more of this area it was so beautiful and not over crowded like so many places today - didn't see any Wallabies though 😁👍
😂 Thanks Paul, we thought the pubs might be too much in our videos but great to know we have viewers so far afield that appreciate them 😁👍 Hope you get to visit one soon, Titanic Brewery really produce excellent beer, there was a Cherry 🍒 Porter too that we may have sampled 😂
Hi Iain and Caroline. I've been catching up (binging) on all of your VLOGS since I found your channel last week. Loads of likes 🙂Just so enjoyable and we were planning to visit quite a few of the locations you have shared with us all. Unfortunately it comes at a strange time in our adventuring. We have just put our MOHO up for sale with one of the local dealers and have been told our new Adria SGX campervan is now not expected until September so have cancelled two bookings with CAMC.💩 Ah well it will come around soon enough. Luckily your content will keep us going until we can get on the road again. Keep it up.
Thank you Paul, very much appreciated and welcome to our channel 🥰 Hopefully some good videos coming up soon including our recent trip to the South of France 🙂👍
You guys are well and truly back 😊 Clare said she loves your hair Caroline. The Peak District will always be our favourite place 👍🏻😊 that was one heck of a trek up the rocks. We thought we were watching Andy and Michelle from Extreme Motorhome adventures for a moment 😂 campsite looks lovely and our kind of site. Thanks for taking us on another adventure tonight 😊
Aw thank you and Caroline is very happy you noticed the hair Clare ❤️ Ha ha yes it was a good trek straight up but worth it for the amazing views ☺️ Have a lovely weekend both 🥰
Another great video. Despite having a motor home for 10 years now and living in Greater Manchester we haven’t been to this area in it. Adding it to the list now 😉
Looks like you've had a nice trip, some good walks (we wont mention the name of the res or pub 🤣). Love the peak district and di the roaches but hadn't realized how close that campsite was. Hope you had a productive planning session and guess its nice to bump into a subscriber now and again. Thanks
Cheers Tim yes it was a lovely surprise, what a brilliant location and didn't know it was there, such a nice area 🥰 Will definitely be back even if just to sample the other breweries we missed 😂
Hi Iain and Caroline. We have just hired a van for week in peaks inspired after finding you on RUclips. Love it and will be looking at buying van soon. Question about club membership.. what made you opt for caravan and motorhome rather than caravan and camping? Better sites etc ? The van we rented is 6.0m long with dinette and rear lounge but as the lounge is short considering a 6.4m ... Any thoughts on the extra length for a newbie? Enjoying your videos, keep it up. Regards.
Thank you and welcome to our channel 🥰 That’s exactly the reason we started so we could help other people looking at vans so thanks so much for lovely feedback 👍We started off thinking 6 metre max but soon realised we wanted the extra space, it doesn’t really make much of a difference and as long as you plan your parking with an overhang at the back like over grass it’s all fine. We just posted a picture today on social media which shows the van parked in a French supermarket, almost fits in a standard bay perfectly if you can overhang the back 😁 hope you enjoy your trip, it sounds very exciting! Our advice is take your time and relax as much as you can 😊
Sorry forgot to add about the clubs, yes you are exactly right, the C&MC sites had locations we wanted to visit so that was the deciding factor for us 👍😊
Our favourite caravan dinner is takeaway😂. Poor Molly, having to do that walk with brain freeze. That is atleast a two pub walk👍Great video
Ha ha 😂 She eats everything she finds nothing seems to stop her 🐶😊 Thanks and yes you make a very good point, long walks will from now on have multiple pub stops, very good idea 😂👍 Hope you have a fantastically bank holiday x
Next time. The Winking Man and Ludds Church. Not to be missed. Great video
Oh thank you Lynda they both look excellent and just our kind of thing 🥰 had a quick Google of the pub menu, looks very nice indeed, we shall return 👍😃
Nice looking Beers well done again
Cheers Mike, the Titanic Brewery really do make great beer and quite unique with their approach, they also had an excellent 🍒 porter too 😁👍
Glad to see I’m not the only one to take the more direct route ;)
Always the best way Alan 😂 Saves time and less people 😉 Hope you're well 👍
What a gorgeous area, looked amazing for dogs, which is our kind of area, greqt video as ever :-)

OMG so funny, I thought you were getting into big trouble there buddy, with the “death path” 😂 brilliant video👍
Thanks Dave 🥰 It was definitely an interesting walk and especially the descent which we couldn't film 🎥 due to some choice language 😂

We are only 30 miles away from Leek, we’ve been a few times but never stayed over. You really covered a lot in this video. Take care Gill
