I've been looking at all the punch needle videos for beginners and this is literally by far the most helpful one, i can't believe it's your first rug wtff you seem like you've been doing it for years... now I'm excited to try asap! btw your skin is flawless!
🥺 omg thank you thank you. I’m happy my video was helpful. I hope you kill your first project. Punch needling isn’t as intimidating as it may seem you just have to be willing to try and not give up. And thank you so much. 🥰
Best punch needle video RUclips. Really thorough and creative. Your project turned out way cleaner than anything I've ever seen, including rugs made with tufting guns that are like 1/4 the size. Also, props for choosing such a dope graphic.
Omg thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment. It’s comments like this that keep me going and striving to build my channel 💚💙💙 I’m happy you enjoyed the video. I’ll definitely be doing more punch Needling and tufting DIYS so stay tune. 💙
Idk how you got it to be so firm and strong, most of the videos I see they end up floppy and all curling in on the edges. Yours looks very strong firm and clean, nice job 🙌🏼
Yeah it was definitely a workout but I spaced it out over two weeks..... But, I also invested in a gun and ill tell you I did it soooo fast it was crazy 😂
@@Stayndirty honestly I think as of right now I like doing it by hand I've made a couple of rugs with my gun and yes its 10x faster. But, I feel like I have way more control by hand. I also can get two type of finishes when I punch needle and my rug I can only get a cut-pile finish.
@@Stayndirty if you have time and want to see if you like doing this I would definitely start with by hand then invest in a gun. Because you won't waste as much money buying a punch needle vs a tufting gun.
@@Tayllorin. I look forward to seeing what content you put out. Can I ask how many hours you think the project took you start to finish (ball park even) ?
Hey I haven’t come across this issue yet. I’d would recommend to clean it the same way you would clean any other rug. They rug won’t fall apart if you use the right tools for it to stay in tact. I’m sorry I didn’t have a direct answer for you.
Great video! Well done on that rug! You make it look so easy! If and when you start selling starter kits-I’m in! Keep up the videos and I’ll continue to watch and be inspired!
Great job, Taylor................You should tell how much time it really took you to do it! Also, I really like your music tracks.......... All the best! ! :)
I used Abode to print and I made sure it was in poster settings. I’m use if you have advance printing options you’ll be able to print the image out of separate sheets of paper
Hello there love your video and that Nike rug. I want to ask you where can I get the same exact frame like the one you have ? And also what size the frame is?
Hi, here’s a link to the exact frame that I ordered amzn.to/3rBnKvK it comes in different sizes I ordered the 44 3/4” brace for 48” frame. It came out to 4ft x 4ft. They come 2 in a pack so you can easily customize what size you want your frame to be.
This is a loop pile finish (in terms of using a tufting gun) when using a punch needle you will get a loop pile finish. But if you want it to have a cut pile finish you can go over it with clippers to get a different effect.....
This is the link to the frame I used. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XG3HXM9/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=tayllorin-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B06XG3HXM9&linkId=d79fdf5adce58fc01c8f871c26925d75&th=1 All of the brace sizes were 48" Frame 44.75"
I ordered this month’s cloth Y-Axis Punch Needle Embroidery Cloth 1 Yard (53.9 in. by 35.8In.) 100% Cotton, with 2 Fabric Marker Pens www.amazon.com/dp/B07W5SKF2J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_M0S7CFRTP86X4R5C2NQ2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 but you can also order some from Joann’s for $14.99 I use a yard in a half for this project
I just watched a video where they used fiba tape to put over image to trace and it’s a bit tacky so it holds your paper in place then out that over your minks cloth to trace
The only part I don't understand is the part u did on the laptop. Idk how to use Adobe is there any other program I can use? Like Word or something 😆 🤣
Yes you can do it on word as well. You have to go into the advance settings when you print and scale the image to the size you want to make. And mirror the image! Honestly getting a cheap projector is better than do this. But if that’s not in option you can do it that way.

surprised you are not using a mechanical puncher, like a vintage RC Rug Crafter tool. you are PATIENT
