For Riftan it is not just a gift. Maxi is one of few people in Riftan’s life who gave him something from bottom of heart. Pay attention to the fact flower crown is probably his first gift the first he was given

I just realized Maxi made the 1st move. He did save her but she gave him a gift a conscious interaction between 2. This also shows she is bold 1 and Riftan is the shy 1 in real.

I like the chemistry, faces/character appearances and voices from the last “Kittens” animations (Christmas period) between the two lead characters, although this one is good too! I’ve been reading the series and I liked Riftans side story where he tries to get Maxi to notice him by dressing up at Croyso castle. Some other scenes could include when Maxi disguises herself and find Riftan in the lake. There are other scenes later on that are quite sad too.
This was sooo cute ❤️❤️❤️. My heart has literally melted😍. I wish you would animate the part when Riftan saves Maxi from that monster when they’re kids. 🩵❤️
