Later in '89, when Owens was 18 or 19 years old, Hogan started training him personally, brother, and when he saw how truly talented Owens was, he suggested to Vince that he was willing to drop the title to him and retire at Wrestlemania 6, Jack.

I was suprised that your first video didn't mention his phone call with his son in jail after his near fatal car crash. What Hulk Hogan said in that call I thought was the most exposing, disturbing of anything he's ever said. Lets see if you cover it in this video.
To be fair to Hulk, he's right about Kevin Owens. A guy of his age could have written Kevin off as one of those indie guys.

I feel like this is just a blend of ego, kayfabe and head trauma. There's an inherent problem attempting to find truth in anything ANYONE in wrestling says... Bruce Pritchards as big a BS artist as any... Wrestling is a work and wrestlers are workers.
This is absolutely true, but I think when you have a number of people converging or agreeing on a particular narrative - especially for years or decades - you have to give that particular narrative more credence over someone like Hogan, who just says wild shit and changes his stories with almost every retelling.
@@BeigeFrequency agreed, and Hogan fibs like the World champion he is...but if wrestler lies interest anyone, pick up ANY autobiography or watch ANY 'shoot' interview... It's a really odd claim, knowing that he was raised Catholic and I've never seen a Catholic church with a modern praise team, let alone as far back as the '60s. (Also, he's known for playing bass.) Then he turned immediately around and said he had hand in the recording of Blues Image's "Ride Captain Ride," which just sounds to me like the Metallica lie repeated with a less-well known artist.
